jmoore: i am a virgin so i am the most quailified to marry a virgin. why is it hard to find a virgin to marry? good things are hard to come by, so are virgins who are also hard to come by. how did u know they are not virgins? anywhoz, standards are standards, if that is ur standards good for u, just pray to God to give u a proverb 31 woman, one that is after God's own heart bcuz marrying an angel that fell directly from heaven unto ur laps cant guarantee u happiness in the future. just my 2 cents Girl846: Because values, morals, religious observance and self control are on the decline and especially since people are getting married at a later age than before. Just hold on, Im sure God will send you what you deserve. also, good for you on keeping yourself. (I, myself hope to marry a virgin man ) u are in luck, i am a virgin, i claim it by faith! Girl846: I know it will not make a marriage last, but I will feel cheated if I save myself for a man that was out banging every girl who gave him the chance before he settled down to marry me. It will always be at the back of my mind, you know? Besides I find it very romantic that we would be learning the strings of intimacy together. I want to be his one and only and him to be my one and only. wrong concept! the fact u are a virgin dont mean God's provision for u will be a virgin man. that is where many ppl get it wrong, they are virgins hoping to get a reward for themselves, wrong! u remain a virgin as a willing sacrifice to God ur creator and it is not for u to get a medal to boast abt later. if God chooses to bless u with a virgin as ur hubby all good but if u build that idol in ur heart that u will must get a virgin man, u just been self righteous and are in as much sin as the hoe down the streets. now all these stuff i just wrote is out of love ooo! |

Romance › Re: Whats Ur Most Embarrassing Toasting Experience? by na2day2(m): 5:53am On Apr 13, 2010 |
blank: I have had several incidents happen to me. I learnt from my brother and then from my husband that i should never be rude to a guy that tries to toast me, rather i should good-naturedly but very firmly tell them i am not interested. On the surface, this seems like good advice but i am such a softie at heart, i find it difficult to be firm with guys. This led to several incidences of guys saying i led them on. So i developed a new way, i either just generally keep away from guys that i felt might like me or from the first moment we meet, i start talking about my lovely husband to be.
There was one particular guy when i was in first year. He was in second year and liked me a lot (it was so obvious though he never said anything). Anytime he wanted to talk to me, he would start shaking as in physically shaking and would end up talking nonsense. I would just smile and move on cos i wasn't in the least interested in him. I gradually pulled away from him until we didn't see again. I thought it had ended and had totally forgotten him. When i was in final year and he was finishing NYSC, he came to see me in school. I was so surprised that he even remembered me. He came with a fancy new car and with so much arrogance. He said that he had just gotten work with a major oil company and he was ready to take me to see his parents! I was so shocked. I told him i was engaged to be married but he said he had me first and that he has been waiting to make money so that he could marry me. I tried to be nice and let him down gently but he turned ugly and was like raking, "What more do i want from him?" I mentioned the name of my boyfriend (he knew the person) and told him we were getting married and that we had been dating since my second year. He went round all my friends (who also knew him) telling them of how i had led him on etc etc. No be small thing o. He actually went to confront my husband that he stole his girlfriend!
I learnt a very valuable lesson that day. Just be mean to guys when they try and toast you so that such rubbish wont ever repeat itself. we will equally embarrass u while doing the toasting but thanks for revealing ur plans anywayz |
