My estate in Lekki this morning. It has never been flooded before. The road leading to the bus stop and expressway, the water is almost reaching the waist depending on your height. Something needs to be done about Lagos drainage. I am just wondering how I will go out esp to go to church/ work Sunday/Monday sad
it's time you to consider a quality decorative stamped concrete floor. Imagine how irritating your compound will look after the flood

PropertiesRe: What Sacrifices Are You Taking Or Took To Build Your Own House? by nabiz(m): 7:16am On Jul 07, 2017
edoman2016:
I want to learn from house owners or those that are still building their own house, the sacrifices they took or are taking to have enough money to build their own house. It could be cutting down your lifestyle expenses such as cars, clothing, electronics etc, opening a side business or taking an extra job, or no vacation for the family.

Some of us will like to learn from your experiences on the sacrifices you took before building your house.
depending on the nature of your job, my advice is DO NOT WAIT TO HAVE ALL THE MONEY TO STATE. Many people dream to own a 20 million naira Duplex and though it is easy to gather that amount of money at once. Start with acquiring a land, moulding a block, and small, small u can do it

PoliticsWhy Government Should Act Fast/pls Advice Me by nabiz(op): 10:20am On Jun 27, 2017
For the past 9 years i have been looking for money even a loan to venture into a particular business idea which i dream to build as a legacy for my children, but could not succed . Now three years ago after several disappointment from many promised and fail potetial investor, i decided to sacrifice my then pleasure to save for this financial intensive business. I suffer both physically and emotionally even to convince my wife the need to sacrifice for my dream business idea.

Five months ago to God be the glory, i was able to complete saving the money it takes to start the business but my problem now is the present INSECURITY AND TENSION IN NIGERIA.

As bolded my problem now is insecurity. Though i have been able to acquire some equipment but the tension is getting higher that i have to pause.
I kept this money in the back but the value is decreasing day buy day. Imagine how maney people i would have enployed, imagine how fulfilled i would have become watching my dream business come to life, imagine the effect on the economy because i know i am not the only person that is having this challenge. If as a nigeria am afraid of investing in nigeria now, what do you think a foreigner will do. I am sure many are hauding money instead of reinvesting it which is very bad in a growing economy.

My question is what do i do. Dumping this little liquid assets in a bank is a problem as the money is decreasing every day. Should i relocate to another country? Which i know may serioursly affect my dream business and family life as a married man. Even if i travel out what businss will i be doing. I have thought of using it to buy dollar but will that stopped me from dipping hand into it, or should i use it to buy land? Then how easly can i convert it to cash when things normalize

Pls advice me before i useless this money. The temptetion to spend this money is alway around, infact i have spend like 5% of the money on a usless and economic thing. Pls advice me on the most liquid and secure opportunity to invest it. I think government should do something fast to reduce this tension in country.

Pls i did not study english language in the school. I only study how to make money in the house. So pls forgive me should you come across any mistake.

Some out of luck Ibos have deemed it fit to speak on behalf of all Ibos , regarding having their own country called Biafra.
Let me use this opportunity as an Ibo woman, to say that, that is a dream that will not come to pass in the interest of our children. We as women need to shush these evil Ibo men and women up, and take over reigns to put a stop to this madness!
Who is Nnamdi Kanu? Where did he materialize from? Who are his parents? What makes him think he is the messiah of the Ibo race? We don't need a messiah, we Ibos need to simply love ourselves first, and integrate with our fellow countrymen.

An Ibo man cannot in all honesty help or assist his fellow Ibo man, how then can we run a country? A Yorba man or, Hausa man will first give you an audience if you need any sort of assistance before an Ibo man would.Yes, I said it, and I speak from experience. We can't help ourselves to grow and suceed, and we want to run ourselves in our country? I agree, that we Ibos might have been relegated in terms of being included in the running of our beloved country Nigeria, but then, we caused it ourselves due to greed, and always compromising for our selfish interest. The South East created the APGA party, what happened to it? We couldn't even hold onto a party, and we want to run our own country. Even in the purported struggle for Biafra, there are factions already, as Uwazulike's group have disassociated themselves from Kanu's group. This must be some kind of joke for our children to find some sort of comic relief when reading about 'The agitation of Biafra by Ibo comedians'.

No sane Ibo man would join in this wasteful agitation. Only failed Ibos in areas of their life would listen to a man whose family lives abroad, and has come to cause chaos, so that many lives would be wasted, whilst his family would live to right essays on a struggle that was dead on arrival.Ibo politicians are also behind this madness,as a way to gain sympathy for their personal aim at governing Nigeria as President or Vice president, as some sort of appeasement, hence the threat of Biafra. These politicians hide behind Kanu, and nudge him to keep on fighting, knowing it is a dead dream, but acheving their aim of being appeased with the portfolio of Vice president. A particular former Ibo governor comes to mind. Cunning from time immemorial.

We Ibo women have the power to put a stop to this madness! My maternal family all fought during the Biafra war, as soldiers and red Cross nurses. They all survived, by God's grace. A family of 11 children, and not one died. Unfortunately, this is not the story of most Ibos. I have my own family now, I'm a mother, and I'll be damned if some miscreants will put my family through what my parents and grandparents went through! My question to Ibo is, how could a person leading a struggle, have accepted bail, with conditions attached, when he could have insisted to be held until the struggle is achieved. Even the so called leader cannot make sacrifices. He'll just bail out of the country when it becomes too hot for him. There can only be one Mandela, others are wannabes. Lets not forget that Ojukwu was pardoned by the Nigerian government, and all his wealth including real estate, was returned to him, whilst most Ibos lost all they had before the war, especially the loss of their family members.Who did Ojukwu lose? Ibos wake up from your slumber and hold onto a party first before agitating for a country! Rubbish!!!
I'm a proud Ibo Nigerian Woman! Ekene kwa'm unu!
ruuuuuuuuuubish
