Meeeeey: Pls mamas help me. This breastfeeding issue is eating me up.
My D's of 11 days is eating more formula than breastmilk. I planned EBF but I'm not lactating enough . I spend about 30 mins breastfeeding den d milk doesn't come out again and he still takes formula. I pumped after today's feeding to see what's left and I got only 6mls of milk.
Pls what can I do to have lactate well.
I have drank tea, pap, oats(saw improvement with this) and even taken lactating cookies but no much milk.
Sorry for the long post Pls help a worried FTM
Thank you Have you tried taking fenugreek? I hear it's very effective. Also feed him as much as possible from the breasts to encourage more milk let down. The more you breastfeed the more milk your breast produce. And always stay hydrated. I wish you well. |

Evacroft: But same men want to run out of marriage not because of infedelity on the women part which the bible clearly quotes, but mostly because divorce favours them most, and there by leaving the children most of the time with the woman ,forgetting that everybody has their role to play in modelling a childs life. Am not disputing the fact that men are the head,am just saying they have failed in handling that role thus making some women take the baton as single mothers. Most men now also wants to share responsibilities equally as a matter of right;but wont want the woman to share in d decision making. You can write a thesis on the hypocrisy of Nigerian men. They want you to contribute financially but they will never share kitchen work, they want to cheat and be naturally polygamous but wives Must stay faithful, they want unconditional submission from their wives but can not follow Bible instruction to love their wives like Christ loved the church etc |

I love this thread. So many Nigeria men are hypocrites.
I know if women are told to pray for and endure cheating husbands they will happily agree with the post and start donating likes and shares.
You people should also pray for your cheating wives and hit the gym so you can attract them back from their boyfriends into your arms. |

MissJoy29: Both of them are wrong. Initially I wanted to blame the guy more cos I thought he took her to a fancy restaurant. But I realised his bill is just under 4k as against almost 12k of the girl's. Which means, it's not a fancy restaurant. It could be a regular fast food. Now I wonder, what on earth was the girl ordering for to amount to 11,800? . Two plates each of all the food items they have on display? This is where I blame the girl. She was greedy.
On the other hand, he may have taken her to a fancy restaurant that charges 4k for a side dish and water only. You know that kind restaurant na. And the girl may have ordered for normal food but in an expensive restaurant. I don't blame her here. I blame the guy here for taking her to such a restaurant and expecting her to buy water alone. No need for your plenty analysis abeg, the story is a lie. Twitter peep will fabricate anything to gain followers and trend. What kind of restaurant serves dishes of 3,800 and eleven thousand? The price range is not even close. If it was a high end restaurant the guy's bill will not be so low. If it was a cheap eatary it wouldn't make sense for one dish to cost up to eleven thousand. What was she ordering? Three dishes at the same time abu wetin? I sorry for girls coming to support guys on this thread. Its better you ignore threads like this because if their fellow man did stupid shi..t like this to a woman they will still gang up to praise him and bash the woman. |

Dottore: I had invited a girl on a date. I thought we could start something serious. Her father is a Secondary School Teacher while her mum is a trader. While we were considering where to go she said she'd like to go to Sahara Restaurant that she had never been there and she heard it's a nice place. . I had gone there a couple of times. This restaurant is a classy restaurant run by Arabs in Enugu. she came with 2 other girls, all were provocatively dressed and chewing gums without the slightest care in the world. . A conversation ensued between btw us through text: Me: babe I thought this meeting is for the both of us. You didn't tell me you are coming with your friends.
Babe: what's wrong with my friends coming with me. I also accompany them to meet their bfs. Besides they are bored in the hostel and we are hungry.
(they were busy going through a big leather bound colorful menu book and placing orders)
Me: I didn't plan for this. I have a budget for our outing.
Babe: duuurrr! (carelessly chewing gum with clicking sounds)
I kept my cool as they chattered about school and gossiped about their school mates. In less than 30mins the food started coming, the only thing I could recognize was pizza which they say they'd prefer as 'take away' and a bowl of shredded Chicken Sauce. Among their orders were two glass cups of a drink I couldn't recognize and a slice of lemon hanging on the tip of each of the glass. The waiter brought a printed bill with a shiny steel cone that they use to cover bills. I opened the cone and looked I saw N17,300 I had ordered and paid for bottled water while I was waiting for her to come.
I gently stood up, left and drove straight to another eatery.. I didn't bother switching off my phone because of 3 lousy girls. I managed to silence it though because the calls were incessant followed with countless messages that first started with insults then calmer tones of "apologies"..
Nonsense You too dey lie. Reduce am abeg. |

They will have the best, so will their mum. She will be treated as a legally married wife but we won't be getting married. I don't need to travel out. I'm already out of Nigeria for over a decade. You need to read properly what I have stated here. People should rather ask questions rather than postulate what I have not said or intend to do. You will be there for them how? Will you live under the same roof with them? What will you do to stop them from suffering the stigma of being called bastard. |

Family › Re: I Need Me A Baby Mama by nahzyla: 9:47pm On May 07, 2018 |
There are so many things that could go wrong with this shady arrangement. I sorry for any girl that agrees.
What about the children? Knowing how close minded Nigeria are they will likely suffer the stigma of being born outside a marital union. I read a story by a woman on Facebook who is still being called a bastard in her old age because her mother bore her out of wedlock.
And the op sounds like he will not be a frequent face in the house with his kids after they are born. I have a feeling he will travel out and leave them in a different country just so he can have his fun. What if the kids are not happy with that arrangement? What if they get upset after seeing their friends' dadies coming to pick them from school or just being present in their lives while op's future kids don't even remember what he looks like?
Op consider your future children before you embark on your selfish and self centered plan. Your need for variety of sexual partners should not make you bring children to this world that will suffer stigma or be called bastard or that will sorely wish their family is normal.
I wish more emphasis is placed on teaching men to be responsible fathers. Its always women that get bombarded with endless lectures of how to be good wives and mothers.
Nonsense thinking like the op's own will be greatly reduced if men are taught to see themselves as a vital and very important part of their children's moral upbringing. Being a father is not only about bringing money. |

Safiaa: this is nothing new. Men of this generation are extremely feminine and take no accountability for their actions. Everything is the fault of someone else. Whether it’s infidelity, failure or just general life obstacles. Women are becoming more masculine, taking the place of men, being the wife and husband of the household. But what are we to do when women are raising male children by themselves? Men are being raised by women so they have no masculine energy to learn from. Sad. You mind all these lefulefu men? Imagine somebody confidently saying a woman should be held responsible for taming a randy husband. The man shebi na imbeci..le him be? so he can no longer control himself abi wetin?? Men these days are getting more and more worthless. |
Family › Re: Why You Must Avoid Being A Single Mother by nahzyla: 4:53pm On May 04, 2018 |
Since men are the head of house then the responsibility and duty of preserving the family should be more on the man as the leader. If a marriage fails the man should carry more blame than the woman so direct your thread to men.
Tell them to stop sleeping around and expecting their wives to 'tame' them.
Tell them to put the welfare of their kids first and provide for them instead of giving one mistress outside.
I don't understand how men keep claiming to be superior and better than women but can never accept responsibility for keeping the family together. Always shifting blame like buhari. |

I saw myself in your shoes after d delivery of my baby but i stood my ground,I told my dh,I know that you love me but i love my self more.I will not make dat costly mistake again (unplanned pregnancy).I want to be alive to take care of my children.
Sorry for my ranting, just angry with some of the things women have to go tru in order to please our society. Women are really seeing something. Its very easy for men to reject family planning or to selfishly claim they can't use condom because they are the not the ones facing the pains of pregnancy or stress of childcare. |

Every time I see a pregnant woman the first thing that runs through my head is how will she cope with labour, then I start feeling for her as I'm the one going to go through the labour. I can count how many times I got down with dh this month just because he doesn't want family planning and im scared of belle. The thought makes me cry sometimes sef. Pls hope I'm really Ok? Haa, you are very OK o. Even me I had vaginal birth in January and till now almost half a year later I still have jitters when I think of all the pain that I felt both during labor and after giving birth. I had a very long labor, for more than 15hrs, my eyes self were turning me, I didn't know if I was conscious or unconscious cos of pain still I didn't dilate enough until late at night. After that I tore when giving birth and got stitches, they were sewing me before anesthetic started working so I felt pain gaan. The stitches self didn't let me sit down well for days afterwards. Then there was the painful pile I had to bear for about a week because of how hard I pushed. I am not ready yet abeg. |
