I think it depends on the woman. Some women have very easy pregnancies and in their cases, nursing is more challenging.
Some women are constantly hospitalized for different sicknesses or complications when they are pregnant. They cannot eat, everything tastes bitter and smells funny. Always tired and weak but must still keep the house up and running and go to work/office.

It depends on the woman, for some women nursing is more difficult. For others, pregnancy is the hard part.

This is now more than four weeks I have been feeling sick with dizziness, tiredness, bitter mouth and nausea but they named it morning sickness as of its only something that happens in the morning.

The husband has to be more than just supportive, he has to be an integral part of that baby/infant raising stage if the mom has to actually return to work and cope well.

He has to bathe the baby, change diapers, do dishes, wake up for midnight feeds etc. nothing short of that will work. Because the mom is expected to do all that and still go to work 9-5 like the man. It’s only reasonable for the man to share her workload too.

Or they can employ a nanny (not a young child they can exploit) but a grown up maybe one of the grandmothers who can actually care for the new baby while parents go to work.

80% of Nigerian men will NEVER do these things.
I don't know if it's insensitivity or ignorance. But many of them absolutely DO NOT want to bear the burden of catering after a small child.

Which is just unfortunate for working mothers.

It is just what it is, you need to work harder as a working class woman.

That creche own is even obvious, during covid lockdown lots mothers noticed their children didn't come down with cold or cattarh at all. No temperature nothing for the 6months school was off.
Immediately schools resumed the story changed.

I must give it to Lagos State though, Lagos govt workers have 6 months maternity leave for the 1st 2 children you have after employment, then all others are 3 months.

All allowances fully paid.

Personally I think 6 months maternity leave is way better, both for the health of the mother and child but only few employers would understand that.

After six months you just have to hope for the best and pray that no care giver maybe creche or nanny, abuses (physically or sexually) the child while you go to work. Many of these caregivers are just demons in human skin, like the animals that flogged that one year old boy to death.

It's just sadenning all around.
The burden on womens head is quite much and they hardly get acknowledged for it.

Women who actually have kids or have been pregnant hardly contribute to these threads so the true situation is hardly ever known.
Its mostly men parroting the idea that their wives must work so as to bring something to the table.

Working a morning till evening job while pregnant or pregnant with kids is not a walk in the park.
Pregnancy itself is not just moving around with big belly for 9months. Many women suffer severe sickness that makes them sick and nauseated morning till evening while pregnant. It's just that some women are lucky their sickness only lasts the first three months and some few ones don't even get sick at all.
Then in the last three months there is waist pain from carrying the pregnancy and constipation and heartburn and difficulty sleeping and God know what else but the same woman is still expected to wake up every weekday and go to work, stay the whole day there, maybe sitting at a desk, and then return back in the evenings.

I can write from now till tomorrow, the truth is that people who have never been pregnant will never understand the difficulty in it.

Then when you put to bed if you are lucky and you have a job in a company where you are given three months paid maternity leave you get to focus on your baby and raise him for three months. Then what next after that? You start dropping a tender three months kid in daycare from 8 in the morning till 6 in the evening because of your job. The same baby that had not collected all their vaccines and immunizations and is still sensitive, you expose that baby to germs and infections (cataarrh and cough, diarrhea ) that children in daycare are prone to getting. You continue like that till they are old enough to go home from school and stay home by themselves, usually around 10/11years old, and at that point it's daycare that has helped you raise your child not you the mother.

The way jobs in society are structured, placed working mothers' lives and wellbeing as an afterthought. The system was arranged to favour men and fathers that don't have to worry about pregnancy and kids.

Pregnancy sickness started on Tuesday for me so I don't even need to form sef.

I am 31. No other symptoms. My phone is clear in sun. Everything close to my eyes are clear under sun.

I noticed blurry and double vision and when I look at far away under bright sunlight it seems blurry but near objects are clear. If I wear sunshade far away objects are clear, it is only blurry under bright sunlight

I don't know why some women and girls choose to be assholes and bitches to each other. The world is already hard on women so why make it harder for yourselves? What is so difficult to understand about this?
I was severely bullied and taken advantage of in both secondary and uni because I had low self esteem. I remember one case in particular because this lady took me on as a project and did everything to turn others against me and constantly insulted and humiliated me in public for reasons I don't know till today, anytime she does stupid shit, the others would not correct her but either join her or pretend they cannot see anything and personally my self esteem was in the gutter back then and I didn't have the confidence to defend myself. I don't know why she did all this, maybe because she thought I was too quiet and had no friends so she wanted to practice her satanic wickedness with a harmless victim.

All of this really traumatized me and I started keeping females at arms length. I know the good ones exist but I can't even be bothered at this point, although I am trying to change that and make friends.

Please who knows any cheaper alternative to indomie noodles? The price these days is not encouraging and my babies like it.

As for men, purge yourself of any bitterness you have for females before you get married. Many of you seem to hate women for no reason. You have been dealt with in relationships, fine.
