gasparpisciotta:Thanks, There are two bathrooms in the left and right house next to our bedroom walls. That is what is causing the dampness, the wall is peeling sef. I think we will have to tile. |
Please how can I solve issue of dampness in the walls of a bedroom in my house? We are developing sniffing and sneezing allergies because of the damp walls in the house, we cannot move out for now. Please help with suggestions to solve it, Thank you in advance. |
This story sounds like it contains a lot of lies and omitted parts Maybe op himself was a nasty husband or cheated on his wife too that's why he is feeling guilty but he will only come here to tell us how his wife is bad. |
pocohantas:You see am? ![]() Unenterprising wife should be punished but unenterprising husband deserve gifts I no fit laugh abeg ![]() |
pocohantas:@accurate time keeper ![]() This is why I don't bother myself with gender equality battles on Nairaland, many women are DELUSIONAL! They don't understand how men reason and will never understand but rather deceive themselves. I am 100% sure if a man was in OP shoes no single man will support and encourage buying gifts but nairaland girls want praise and want to look like wife material without knowing how life works. A man that should be breadwinner is demanding his wife buy gifts like a sugar mummy with all the stress she is facing and women are here typing nonsense. Only when women are taking bad treatment and sacrificing heaven and earth that they are wife material. If a man sacrifices like that for his wife he will be mocked. |
pocohantas:@last paragraph, that is so true. OP did not give full details of how her marriage is that is why she is now receiving mumu advice from women who think marriage is Telemundo or Korean love series. |
Supposing a woman is the one demanding gifts from her husband who works three jobs and takes care of chores and kids and you will have read one million insults on this thread by now. Many Nigerian women are just so senseless, enjoy your oppression and patriarchy. |
babythug:@bolded lol, it's the lectures I hate the most. Oversabi experts are just everywhere. Also the fact that I want him to be potty trained before starting school hopefully end of this year or early next year. I will let him recover fully first before we resume again. The sickness really scared me but thank God he's better. Thanks ma |
Mamasessy: babythug: Awesomemama:Thanks a lot for your advice, God bless you, I was at my wits end two days ago and yesterday because of this issue. I actually planned to make him quit diaper just like that whether he agree to use potty or not but the guy started holding his pee and poop for the whole day, once I wake him and bath him in the morning and dress him without diaper he will not pee or poo again all through the day till night when I wear him diaper to sleep. I dont know how he holds his pee. I tried to cajole him and then force him to pee him by tickling him and sprinkling him water to startle him into peeing but whosai Then the second day of doing this routine of bearing piss morning till evening he started developing one kain serious cough and catarrh and serious sneezing and temperature. And protruding tummy. I dont know of it was because of the cold weather or because of not relieving himself all through the day but I had to stop our potty training and start wearing him diaper again so that he will pee and poop during the day. This morning he got better miraculously and is no longer sneezing or running temperature. He has been pooing since morning now and the tummy had gine back to normal size. I don tire maybe I will buy washable diaper to save money. |
Hello all, I need advice please My toddler of two years 8 months is stubbornly refusing to use potty. We started training him immediately after his second birthday when he could understand instructions to pee and poop. He used it about four times and then started stubbornly refusing to use it, we tried coaxing him it didn't work, offering bribes didn't work, spanking didnt work, he just says no or runs away or fights you when you try to get him to sit on potty. I have downloaded plenty cartoons teaching potty he will just settle down and watch the cartoons and discard whatever the lesson in it was. I don't know how to get him to use potty, he understands how to use it he is just being stubborn. Me I am tired of buying diapers, economy is something else and price of molfix went up suddenly. Please help me ooo The first few times he used potty, nothing bad happened to him in fact we were happy and praising him because we thought he picked up easily only for him to start running from it afterwards. |
Janella29:Sounds like vaginal prolapse The force of pushing during childbirth can cause piles from anus or vaginal prolapse. Na God go bless women for the different issues they face in pregnancy and childbirth. |
This story sounds like a huge gigantic lie but something similar happens in many Nigerian homes. The husband just lives his life like an oga not contributing jackshit to housechores or taking care of children but he wants his wife to provide 50% of everything providable in the house. Mtsheeww Notice how the otondo never mentioned that he assists his wife with homework but he wants her to be bringing money to help him out. |
Just look at that egbon up there advising you to marry another wife because Islam allows polygamy. So that you will end up sexually frustrating her as well |
Your wife does not enjoy sex with you. She doesn't come or does not enjoy it at all. I am sure you knew this already but you did nothing to improve as long as you got your orgasm at the end. After a while she will start feeling used and irritated at your selfishness and insensitivity and start avoiding you altogether. You and many married men are guilty of selfish sex. |

Chii59:Wow It's a very toxic trait actually ![]() Those doing it dont understand how badly it affects others |
Chii59:It's hard to cope with a chronic malice keeper.... I know |
Rtk5:Ok thank you for sharing, the truth is that something we think is very slight and inconsequential can be extremely upsetting to other people but due to our nature or upbringing we downplay it . |
The epidemic of small children and people who live solely on the internet had been on nairaland too long for you to get a lot of meaningful or sensible advice regarding marriage on Nairaland. I would like to know, if you dont mind, RtK5, what is the reason why she left with her son in the first place? You will get a lot of comments demeaning your wife here from nairaland males but that is only because they are men like you and will support their own. Try to look at the issue objectively That reason why she left the house in the first place, what was it? Was it the first time it was happening or was it something she has complained of before or is sensitive about it? It might be a non issue to you but very serious to her as many women are very emotional. |
Hello people. Please who knows whether national hospital work as nurse or doctor is under civil service? What about general hospitals? Is it civil service? Sorry for sounding ignorance am just really curious. |
DrFunmisticGlow:Are you a doctor in real life? Because you made sense in this topic. I had a high risk pregnancy before and my doctor expressly forbade me from working or engaging in any form of stress I am just 30 years old, I am not even middle aged. I developed high blood pressure because of stress and I had to be placed on admission in two different hospitals. Anybody saying pregnant women should always work is nothing but a fool. |
So many women in Nigerian marriages are facing what the woman in Op story faced Their own case is worse because their husbands are dumb as well as egotistical and are not ready to take correction unlike Op husband. The women spend their whole lives putting up with abuse because their spouses cannot be happy about their progress. Nigerian men want working wives but do not want her success or money to exceed theirs Just all round selfish fellows |
LadySarah:Wow I think it's true o, my son has a big one and I born girl after him. |
GreaterGraceGG:This is the one I have known since childhood See the picture of my palm below, notice the thickest lines on it. They are three in number. So that means na boy them go born follow me, actually my immediate younger one is a boy. If there were four thick lines then it means a girl will follow me. That's the style me I know oo, maybe there is another one.
|
tyhgfrdeswscbhf:I know about the palm own but I never heard of the penis own. |
rvpbae:Its true My neighbor just confirmed it is 12 months Thanks ma |
Hello mamas, Hope everyone is doing great. Please when can chicken pox vaccine be given to baby? Thank you |
tyhgfrdeswscbhf:Hello, please what did they see on his hand and penis to make them say he will senior a boy? Any mark or spot? |
Just look at all these desperate broke gold diggers arguing shamelessly on this thread for their right to eat a womans money while "owning" her at the same time. Thunder fire all of una You are not entitled to your wife's money. If she decides to spend on the family it's a privilege you should appreciate from her. If una won chop woman money be ready to start answering her name after marriage and also submit to her. Foolish gold diggers |
Ybaby:Correct. Oyinbo people will never ever hide their background and act like Africans. We also need to represent our roots, no need to be ashamed or to form fake foreigner |
