i've never been to the UK but i think they(uk and us) are similar in almost everything. its just the accent that's different. |
Sonye:cycle 10 |
whether the girl want's attention or not, if people stop obsessing over her and other celebrities, it wouldn't be much of a problem. |
songs i'm tired of cuz they keep playing it on the radio: flo rida-low chris brown- with you jordan sparks- tattoo wyclef- sweetest thing |
tRoOE:status quo shouldn't have made it to the final 2. they keep getting the same critique that they were sloppy as for jabawockeez and the rest they improved. and still this day, i wonder how live in color got the boot before them. stillwater:even a louser dancer could tell you that SQ sucks. |
cuteness01:she was one of my favorites but it looked as if she gave up already. |
ibkaye:\ they're all sisters. the youngests are twins. i personally am not a fan of them but i like the first song they came out with about 2 years ago. they're new song is good too. |
chiogo:say what? i'm surprised status quo made it to the top 2. well we already know jabba wockeez are going to win. |
zigbo:i know but you know how people are, they see one and assume the rest are alike. |
minute:you see, that's the attitude we need instead of trying to get mad because people are dissing africa. who cares. we know the truth about africa and if they don't know or try to know, that's their problem. |
@topic i used to get annoyed with people asking me dumb question but now, it just doesn't phase me anymore. sometimes its not only the black american and white view on africa but some africans as well especially the young ones born here. i've seen some young ones act like they are "all for africa" but act offended when they show african people dancing around the fire on tv or when they are speaking another language, or when they are bald headed (the females), and they start saying, "man, we don't that." i'm like sure we do, its nothing to be ashamed of. and they get offended with the animal questions. ain't nothing wrong with animals. animals are cool. |
i was basically going to say i agree 100% with ms luker and then you brought your own idea that made sense. but both ideas are good though. |
they are blamed because they don't protect themselves better like their counterparts, Lurker At least if you guys want to dio the whole Africa comparison which doesnt make sense because most countrie sin Africa are in denial of education about the diease, being ultra conservative and against sex education. Seeing that the States constantly throws such information down our throats, what's stopping BAs from listening? After all the same info is being exposed to ALL americans. what's their excuse. i understand the down-ow thing but why are black women that foolish to take on such risk thus making them the highest on the bloody list
ok, i was going to say something until you posted this. both of you have good points. |
Oooooooohhh that Fatima Somali girl oooooooooh
i know, she is making african people look bad. |
cycle 10 is okay. i was happy when i heard there was an african girl(from somalia) on it but she has to much of a mouth. if you like you can watch the episodes on youtube or on cwtv.com(but then you might find out who won cycle 9) |
i was never superstitious but i've heard: if you step on a crack on the ground, you'll crack you're mother's back. walking under ladders means bad luck opening an umbrella indoors means bad luck if a black cat walks your path means bad luck number 7 is good luck, number 13 is bad luck |
nwando:thanks for the info. how can you compare black people who make up 13% of a country to nigeria of 140 million people? |
EXPONENT:ok so posting this makes you feel so much better? bravo. no one said that there's no AIDS in Nigeria. AIDS is everywhere. |
http://omg.yahoo.com/halle-berry-gives-birth-to-baby-girl/news/7509 Halle Berry and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, welcomed a baby girl Sunday. "Everyone is doing great!" her rep tells Usmagazine.com. Berry, 41, announced she and Aubry, 32, were expecting last year. "I've accomplished things I never thought I would," she told Parade magazine. "Now my sights are set on a different chapter in my life, which is motherhood. That's the goal I have very clearly set for myself." Berry met Aubrey, 32, at a Versace photo shoot in November 2005. They went public as a couple three months later. Of her relationship, she told Hello magazine: "I have someone who is putting a spark in my eye. I have never been in better physical and emotional shape, and I'm happy in my personal life - what a novel idea!" |
you could wash your face with water and black soap and use an oil free face moisturizer. |
uzoo:okay that's doing too much now. |
TOYOSI20:its kind of hard to pull it back into a ponytail. |
mohawkchic:yea, cycle 9 was kind of slow but at the end when they choose who wins, its so quick, you're like " what, you won?" |
senegalese |
i didn't watch american gangsta cuz i could care less but a lot of people rushed to see it because they were expecting a whole lot of shooting and killing. people that i talked to didn't like it because they wanted more violence. |
EXPONENT:even though you claim that nigeria is a dying country, you do not have to say all of that, you are just giving people more reason to talk trash about nigeria. it may not be america but people do live there and may be living a lot better than you and I. |
What is up with you people and teaching your children to curse? that if your little daughter/ son comes home with "i have a BF", you guys smile and thinks its cute. when i was waiting in the car for my mom to come out of the store, i saw this guy with 3 kids (2 gurls, 1 boy) and one of the girl was sad becuase she wanted a different candy or something like that. her dad saw her and was like, "what the f is wrong with you, would you f***ing talk" then the girl said something and he was like "why didn't you f***ing said something and was just cursing some more at the girl and she had to be 10 yrs. i couldn't believe it. |
Don't lump us all together, okay. I'm sure it bothers you but at least they want to know something. They could just sit there, roll their eyes and keep their opinions of what they seem to know about Africa to themselves.
that's true but there are ways in which you ask questions. like do lions roam the street? that is a dumb question. if they did, every one would be locked inside the house or dead on the street. |
First off since we're "primitive" and "rough looking", why re you even on this site? What's wrong with black planet? Secondly that statement you made about middle class sis quite the lie. Most are NOT middle class citizens, if by getting your church together to help you pray to win the visa lottery then having a donation party to pay for your ticket is what you consider "middle class", have fun with that because that's how some people leave Nigeria yet they still end up going to another country and do well. Most third world country citizens ends up doing better in America than even some white people, what the hell is your excuse? Blah blah inner city schools, you should see some of the public schools in Nigeria before you go on to your sob-stories, yet that hasnt stopped most of us, nor has it stopped most immigrants who come here and excel so spare us and Btw I'd sooner accept the title of yahooze than the reputation of being the most in jail despite being the minority in the country and also the fact that Father's Day is the most confusing day in the life of a black american. Please go and sit down and let Lurker & hero answer our questions. Lunatic.
peach on sista. |
after watching the first 3 or 4 episodes, who is your favorite so far. |
i think if you post in the forum game and off topic section, they don't count. |
i like the medium to big handbags. personally, i think that small handbags make you look like a child, depending on the make, of course. |
