Who are the real leaders of Ndigbo? All the name we hear are just selfish individuals who serve their own personal interests. Gone are the days of Ojukwu and Nnamdi Azikiwe. Someone please prove me wrong. This is one issue I would gladly be found wrong |
CR77:Goodluck one chance motor go soon comot from motor park, I can see you are sitting next to him with your eyes closed. Goodluck to you ![]() |
porka:Point humbly taken, some people are more pessimistic than others. I hesitate to sit on the wall and I lean towards the slightly pessimistic camp. |
Teebashy:We Nigerians appear to have a short memory, either that or we just live for our own pockets. I guess the societe generale bank incident has been quietly forgotten, aided perhaps with some ghana must go bags passed under the table. When the Americans invaded Iraq, they sacked the entire army and police force and in the end caused more chaos and disruption than ever imagined. Sometimes you have to work with the corrupt and tainted for the common good. Just like Gorbachev bringing down the iron curtain, they thought he was one of them when he was elected but he showed them he had other more noble ideas, we hope GMB champions the cause of Nigeria and Nigerians not just APC and its leadership. |
fmthegreat:You seem to have forgotten who Saraki really is He will treat the nations economy like Societe Generale, break the bank and cart off the loot to share with his family and cronies. We have no option but to sup with the devil, we just need to remember the long spoon. |
Different faces, same outcome. From what we can see with names like Saraki being mentioned another era of impunity and reckless corruption will be starting very soon. Politicians have an insatiable appetite for power, wealth and influence. Now APC is coming into power they can only perform worse than the PDP (personal development party) in looting and accumulation of personal wealth as PDP has set the standard and I doubt they would allow themselves to be outdone. Looks like APC will be known as Acquisition for personal consumption party. so whats new with politics and politicians in Nigeria? A few more billionaires will be made and a few million more nigerians will slip below the poverty line yet again. If APC disappoint then nigerians will have truly had enough, we will sweep away all old school politician and disband both the PDP and APC, watch this space.. May God help us. |
shiki:Thanks, he was the attorney general and minister of Justice. |
I suspect the price of goat meat will crash for the next few weeks |
Mike Aondoakaa SAN thinks we have forgotten who he is, one of the most corrupt ministers of justice Nigeria has ever seen. He was instrumental in emasculating EFCC and hiding the sins of people such as exGovernor Akume of Benue state who I can see is now a senator and touted as a possible next president of the senate. We can see it's just old wine in new bottles, we are being ruled by the same corrupt criminal masterminds of yesteryears. He is not welcome anywhere. Be it PDP or APC. CRIMINAL! |
Ah dont blame me says Doyin Okupe I was coerced. They came in the night and threatened me. I woke up the next day and say N5 million in my account I was scared so i joined PDP sharp sharp Next thing they asked me to bad mouth Buhari I was scared i woke up the next morning and saw another N5 million in my account I didn't know what to do so i said Buhari was brain dead to my surprise I saw N10 million in my account I was perplexed, I said Buhari will soon die next thing N20 million in my account , gbam! Please try and understand, it was not my fault it was the devil that pushed me |
Iamsynord:Not surprised some Americans are incredibly dull. Probably don't even know where their capital city is |
slimzypink:Not yet my dear, take your PVC go down to the nearest bank and tell them you want to vote at the ATM. You will be kindly attended to |
babyosisi:His first assignment is the most difficult.. |
lokito:Bad boy ![]() Na strong muscle soaked in igbo you go chop this easter when you slaughter and cook that goat, no beat your friends wey come greet you for house o! |
A smart dog who lost a epic fight will hide the little tail (and pride) it has left behind its sorry legs and hide not stand on its 3 legs and boast of future victory with its torn ears, and broken tail. It's people like Doyin Okupe that were instrumental in losing the battle for GEJ |
omonnakoda:So we are now down to personal insults? I will not partake in your entertainment Have a nice day and God bless |
omonnakoda:Ok Sir sorry, no need to get agitated, we are only debating issues here not looking for fights.. You mentioned oil income and GDP in your post and I brought in Budget to make a point, I hope others see the point i was trying to make Carry on and have a good day |
omonnakoda:Wow! Your calculations and economics are flawed my friend. GDP is not the same national income, Nigeria certainly does not make $500 billion a year not to talk of income from oil revenue. Budgetary calculations are based on estimated income from mainly oil revenue receipts and this is a different kettle of fish to GDP which is a sum total of a nation's economic output to put it in laymans terms.. i'm not an economist The attached document will give you an idea of what i am saying, we certainly don't earn $500 billion a year
|
omonnakoda:You're looking at minutiae and missing the point, it is obvious to anyone to see they got votes in every single state so did KOWA, AA and ADC, this was not a lesson in the finer points of statistics. |
olawalepopoola:Useless sectarian ranting, thankfully the majority of Nigerians do not support your rancid ravings. You only serve to 'heat up the polity' and should be Jega'd immediately. Nigeria belongs to no one but all of us, this election has shown that you can't rule this country alone you need other geopolitical regions. That's the beauty of our well thought out but poorly implemented constitution.. so deal with it! The SS and SE voted for GEJ because he was their son and it was rude not to, they also did not trust the North from experience and the SW because they seemed to engage in partisan politics at best of times so it was difficult not to suspect they had a personal OPC agenda. However no geopolitical region voted exclusively GEJ or GMB with exceptions in the heart of their support zone which is to be expected and that should tell you something, rigging aside Nigerians are more intelligent and savvy voters and they, deep down had Nigeria's interests at heart, not the 'personal for my pocket really' interest of Niger delta militants or the 'hold what i have stolen well' interests of the North and SW Everywhere you go there are political billionaires be it NC NW NE SS SW or SE. SO who do you think suffers in all this? We can shout all we want but Otedola keeps his Billions, Dangote has shown it is business as usual and Peter Odili is still sitting pretty on Rivers state wealth. We need to stop the impunity! GMB needs to keep the country together and bring all regions to the table for our collective benefit, there is really no vanquished here, we need every single region Wake up and smell the amala, smell the Isi Ewu and the Tuwo! A new dawn is here, if you misbehave we will vote you out whether you're GMB, GEJ or some other chancer. Period! |
He's too fat for the creeks, Jonathan fed him well. Where will he park his cars? His Range rover will sink If he were to enter a canoe, he will also sink the canoe with his weight. The creeks don't want him, there is enough pollution from the past crude oil spills. They can't handle any more pollution. Living on land and living large has made him fat, weak, soft brained and vulnerable ![]() |
Ana Akogheri... Nwanne, Ibugodi onye ara sef! Oburu na ino mu nso kita, bottle orijin a mu ji ga ezu gi ike na isi. Unu nodu otua, unu ana asito agba anyhow. Mehn pasa na ogbe na ezu ike, inoro na obodo ndi ofe mmanu na ama tuuu! Nwanne bocha! I thought English was the language of communication on Nairaland? If the majority of people do not understand your message then it is ineffective in addition to being sectarian and divisive. What are you saying that can't be said in English? All i can deduce is that it is possibly something derogatory that you couldn't say to the person face to face. Please correct me if I am wrong |
naijainfogalery:False prophets, nothing else to it and they will never do well. Our eyes are open and we are watching them. They are looking for new employers but no vacancy at Aso rock So who were these charlatans anyway? name and shame |
njays24:We have to deal with the chronic decay in the system and dilapidated machinery left by PDP first, hang on in there.. ![]() |
The only credible thing GEJ did in his political career as president he did at the end ie 'set the platform for change' He lost the biggest opportunity in his life to go beyond this. In a nutshell he benefited no one but the cabals backing him, who hiding behind him who cleverly hid their looting tracks so they could blame it all including this election failure on GEJ. He was the archetypal figure head and a failure on many fronts whether it was corruption, the economy or security or simply strong leadership. GEJ did create opportunity but only for the lootocrats, he created more millionaires than any other president did. Indeed PDP became the personal development party for those with the right connections. But all this came at a price, for every billionaire he created he pushed 1 million Nigerians below the poverty line The people have spoken, many will indeed be happy to see him go, including his PDP paymasters as he was nothing short of an embarrassment. Hopefully PDP can pick up from the ruins and provide what Nigeria needs, a strong and credible opposition What a sad ending |
General is in town, the unruly are arranging themselves and their mouths quick quick ![]() |
oyb:Smart observations.. the movers and shakers always hide in the shadows and put people like GEJs necks on the line. Win or lose they will smile to the bank |
Chris Ngige, Rotimi Amaechi, Okorocha.. some of the smartest men in the east. Please don't forget your kin when you're appointed. They saw the smouldering fire long ago and jumped off the sinking ship. Shine ya eye o! |

He was the archetypal figurehead and a failure on many fronts whether it was corruption, the economy or security or simply strong leadership. Above all he was indeed clueless, every Nigerian could see that for themselves. He surrounded himself by foul mouthed ex-militants and sycophants like Rueben Abati and FFK who literally sold their souls to the devil. GEJ did create opportunity but only for the lootocrats, he created more millionaires than any other president did. Good! Now I expect FFK, Reuben Abati and Askari Dokubo to call and congratulate the President elect. Now i would also add don't both asking no job vacancy for any of you at Aso rock or anywhere in Nigeria for that matter. ![]() |
