Sincere 9gerian: "Now he's the mouthpiece of the same people who makes the life of Nigerians more difficult"

Did you just utter that gibberish? What do you mean by "Now he's the mouthpiece of the same people who makes the life of Nigerians more difficult"? Perhaps you were refering to Fashola and Tinubu who may be making "the life of (Lagosians) more difficult" (according to you)

In case you were refering to the govt of GEJ, I'm sorry you'r WRONG. Besides the increment of fuel price, which was by the way, inevitable, your comment is BASELESS and SENSELESS. About the fuel price increase, that was inevitable as it would HAPPEN over and over again, except crude oil price comes down. As long as crude oil price is increasing, ANY govt in power will inevitably increase fuel price. The reason is, fuel is a commodity, like any other commodity.

Beside the fuel price increase, I dont see how the following has "made life more difficult for Nigerians":
- revival of the rail transport system
- YOUWIN
- graduate internship scheme
- SURE-P women and youth empowerment scheme that employs 5,000 unskilled persons per state and pay them monthly stipends for 5hrs per weekdays work.
- Airport remodelling and Aviation reforms
- Building of cargo Airports
- Construction of Almajiri schools
- Massive road rehabilitation, re-construction and construction
- Agric reforms including new ways of distributing fertilizers and farm inputs that ensure farmers receive subsidized farm inputs DIRECTLY
- Ongoing power reforms and privatisation
- Creation of 12 new federal universities
- Increased funding for federal and select state higher institutions
- Rehabilitation of federal unity colleges
- Local content law in oil and gas
- Empowering local contractors by giving them every contract worth N5billion and below
- Credible elections
Etc,etc

If anything, ALL of the above, are and will make life better for Nigerians.

Most times, critics turn BLIND eye to all of the above, while at same going on and on about corruption, corruption and corruption. Well, if you like, you can build another twin towers with the word- corruption- but the FACT is that corruption has existed since 1960 and is ALWAYS an easy tool for those who want political power through the back door. Therefore, no one should be bothered about the NOISE by anti-corruption e-warriors.

What matters, as far as I'm concerned are CONCRETE things, listed above, that affect the lives of ALL Nigerians DIRECTLY.

By the way, GEJ became president in mid 2010, after the death of Yar Adua. So you alone know how you calculated your 4yrs. All LIARS, except they repent, have comfortable seats reserved for them in the hottest part of HELL

Biggyd2: Ehen, wey dat thread about how power has improved in your area, sef? I remember that some people wanted to bite off the ears of others that were saying that people should not be fooled by what they were seeing then. So, where are we now? This is the same PHCN that has come out with new legal and illegal charges and still you hardly see bulbs in your house come on. And after that they come here to tell us that we should expect more power outages.

I like my people sha. We are the most tolerating people on earth. So as dem dey oppress us, dem know say my people no go talk. Make una no worry o, rain go soon come and all the dams go belle full wit water. Light go come dey small. PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Clean And Honest – El-Rufai In 2007 by najoke: 1:33pm On Apr 10, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Just to make this clarification, specifically because of you. I did not create this thread. I have only ONE USERNAME on this forum. I dont have time for multiple usernames. If you can x-ray the threads created by me in the past, you'll see the DIFFERENCE.

I saw the thread this morning and it was only natural for me to like the thread and appeal for it to be moved to the front page.

Also, what I complained of several weeks back was that an OLD thread of an article written by Abati, created several years back, was brought back to life and moved to the front page, along side a recent article written by the same Abati, as a counter balance. I thought that was wrong and irresponsible.

What happened today is entirely different. This thread was created TODAY and, despite the report itself being old, it was not meant to counter balance any recent thread. In any case, the thread itself is recent, since it was created TODAY.

I made this clarification specifically because of you, otherwise I owe no one no explanation.

I'd be more inclined to believe if Lai Moh'd told me he saw an ostrich fly across the atlantic ocean than believe today is monday if Abati told me so.

That man has not a single fibre of cradubility left in him especially after the First Lady's health fiasco. He is a serial liar!

PoliticsRe: Will You Vote For BUHARI In The Forthcoming Election? by najoke: 7:02pm On Apr 07, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: "I will vote for anyone as long as Jonathan leaves Aso rock"

The word "anyone" is very instructive. It appears you'r too EMOTIONAL and vote based on emotions. That is why less than 2yrs down the line, you'r singing a different song (that's assuming you'r not telling lies).

Even the reasons you gave for changing your mind are SENSELESS. Who understands the meaning of "Most useless Nigerian President ever, Clueless, No guts, Chicken brained". You appear to be an emotionaly unstable child.

No one should be surprised if you express regret after casting your vote in subsequent elections.

Ifeanyi, you see bolded? you are right, the poster made that same mistake voting for GEJ.

If punch, vanguard or any other national daily print for example a document that FG orders killing of certain people. Does FG

1) comes out and refute d story and then take legal action so that others will think twice when FORGING documents

Or

2) comes out to refute the story without taking legal action thereby legalising FORGERY.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Assures Of Stable Power Supply Mid 2014 by najoke: 10:45am On Mar 22, 2013
rainbowman: I don't normally comment on this trend but its becoming alarming the way we have chosen to rain all manners of abuses upon our President. Firstly, there is this erroneous impression that the President has not done anything, however, for the first time in a long time we have inter-state rail transport, while some of you would say you want electric bullet trains without asking previous leaders why not an inch was added to the railway lines since independence till date. We have 15 of our airports being upgraded at the same time, this is no mean feat, I work for an international organization where it has taken 3 years just to build one mini terminal without hope of conclusion yet in sight. We have seen reforms in the agricultural sector. I have seen deliberate moves geared at reforming our power sector through privatisation, construction of IPPs and renovation of downed power stations. I have seen construction works on so many roads that were hitherto abandoned. I agree that the President may not be our version of President Palmer of the 24 series but he is working and yet a lot of Nigerians do not respect that. Its a shame really. As for the BH phenomenan, its a shame really but I can say the President is dealing with it in line with global best practices, do you expect to negotiate with terrorist, I can tell you that I have experience BH first hand and there is nothing political about what they hope to achieve, these guys are terrorists and their only objective is to die fighting. P/s monitor the world news during a BH major attack and note the similarities with other attacks worldwide. Nuff said
