With the level of their impoverishment by the same government, what do you expect? After selling any little sense they had left for peanuts, the next thing is for them to tear one another to pieces.
Some of them have been absent from NL today. No wonder. |

The man has some disdain for the Igbos.
Developing his first cousins' Country and neglecting Nigeria is treasonable. No wonder the unemployment rate in Nigeria is the highest ever with no FG jobs for Nigerians.
And these first cousins are defended by 'Nigerian' security agents after committing massacres in various parts of Nigeria in the name of cattle grazing business and conquering more lands.
Well done to incredibly selfish, myopic Southern asslicking politicians for placing a stranger as president. Some of them muscleheads are even switching political parties in these perilous times as that is what is most important to them. |

Politics › Re: What Is The EXACT LAW That Twitter Broke In Nigeria? by NaMe4: 10:39pm On Jun 11, 2021*. Modified: 11:01pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
What I see is just a group of clowns about to shoot themselves in the foot.
This present administration with their unmatched reputation of setting rubbish precedences would allow Nigeria be used as a case study on testing and enacting certain cyber laws which in the long term would affect the Nigerian citizens so badly.
This same president mentioned earlier today that the government had no jobs for the youth, despite high rate of unemployment.
The world which is now a global village, through the cyber space has created opportunities for individuals to make a living by providing solutions to persons/coys in far away countries while earning and making a living.
For instance, freelancers. A huge percentage of these guys are from developing countries such as Nigeria, India, etc.
Imagine a law requiring any freelancer to be a registered entity in the country of any potential client before having access to the client. You can imagine the negative impact this would have on millions of youth who use this as a means of self-employment.
They think they'd force such 'cyberspace businesses' to do their own bidding without having a boomerang effect.
I just wonder what they aim to achieve. |
Politics › Re: I Will Support Biafra If Any Ipob Can Point An Ibo Speaking Community In Bayelsa by NaMe4: 10:34pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
Honestly, these attempts by IPOB in trying to annex other people's lands would be the undoing of their Biafra dream.
The idea of true indigenes throwing away their own culture, heritage and forfeiting their lands (on which Igbos settled and formed communities) to one Biafra is something that won't happen. Just the simple truth!
You can't say because some Ijaw settlers in Abia State have been there for 100 years, they would attempt annexing such areas to one Ijaw nation. No!
Candidly, even a five-state Biafra seems to be almost impossible to achieve with the state of things, as most of the Igbo leaders do not even support the secession and would most likely work against it.
Maybe the SouthEast should just focus on presenting a credible candidate for 2023 with the potential of outperforming any other president in the history of this country and changing it to a country of their dreams. |

I hope they are also desperate in adopting the anti-corruption laws in China; death penalty more specifically.
Not the one you'll control media, then some perpetual dullards will pilfer the Country to stupor.
If these ones had their way, no one would have any info on the incidences of kidnappings, herdsmen killings, banditry going on all over the Country. More Nigerians would even fall victim to criminals due to lack of information.
Instead of facing the security challenges squarely, dialoguing with those they should to make peace and clearing the forests of criminals, they are on a quest to keep the citizens gagged and uninformed by blocking apps.
This administration is a disaster! |

Luigi03: You know it is getting very disappointing seeing IPOBS and Yorubas playing cat & rat at a very dangerous time like this. What is wrong with you guys? Cant you settle your Indifferences and move on? Yorubas today, see ESN members get killed and celebrate, agreeing with the FG that is obviously run by fulanis, that they are Terrorists. It's so embarrassing. Yorubas are fully aware that these guys have been fighting for the freedom for decades now, started with peaceful protesters of which they got killed in large numbers. Now they created ESN to tackle these killer herdsmen, yet the Yorubas agree with the FG that theyre terrorists. I'm from the Niger Delta, and igbos are nowhere near our problem. Why do you guys keep fuelling this hate on a daily basis? Do you want to have kids one day and have them suffer like we are right now, while still hating other southern tribes? God forbid.
Why don't you folks just forget the past. I get the past would be too hurtful to let go, but what's the point carrying the hate to grave when you can just make up? Divided we fall, united we stand. Together, we can teach these Murtha fuckas who think they're invincible the lesson of their life. Pls Do this to make sure your kids are free from danger, this is for the future. let go off that ego now.
The Igbos are very brave people, most are ready to die for their land. They know how well equipped the Nigerian Military is "compared" to them, yet they do not give up. "It is better to take our land while we're dead, than they take while our two eyes are open, impossible", they probably think to themselves.
The Yorubas may be brave but they arent as brave as the igbos. Igbos will NEVER flee their land to go take refuge in another country or state. Same cannot be said for Yorubas whose survivors fled to Benin Republic to start forming keyboard warriors.
Yorubas are more tactical and calm compared to ipobs. I personally doubt the leadership of MNK as he's one that would think and take actions without thinking.
Look lemme tell you, if the south should unite today, Yorubas are very intelligent and couple that with the igbos bravery, plus the south south who obviously do feed these terrorists, we will be a force to reckon with. Not even the FG can stop us.
Yorubas most especially feel like they can do everything on their own. You insult we from South south, also with the easterners. You cannot win on your own. How do you guys not realize that? Terrorist use our oil money to pay your leaders like Tinubu to shut up, same with the police officers in your region. Together, we can put a stop to that bcus it's obvious these fools can't survive without us.
Lieutenant General Sunday Igboho knows this, reason he said any attack on the east is a clear attack on the west. The man is ready to co-operate with the IPOBS since they both now share a common goal. What is wrong with teaming up, then going back to normal ways once the goal has been actualized? If you guys continue like this, your coming generation will continue like this, in suffering. You have the power to change that.
Pls stop the hate my lovely southerners. You guys are the reason I still have faith for this country. I'm still proud of being a Nigerian bcus of the south, nothing else. Luigi03: I'm a teen and new to Nairaland Intelligent and logical submission. You should also realise most of the monikers you see here writing senselessly are paid cockroaches by this inept government. With time you'll be able to identify and ignore their rubbish posts. |

Offpoint1: You got your wards back alive you should be grateful, fighting for compensation is out of love for money.
More emphasis has been made on "compensation" than the kids psychological health.
We see every opportunity, be it good or tragedy as a means of making money out of it. Those victims need help. And the government should be fully responsible for their medical, psychological and social welfare to ensure full recovery from the trauma. If the government cannot provide such, then it is safe to say there's no government in existence in Nigeria, only rogues in government houses. Besides, the families of these victims deplete their savings and may even go into debt to raise ransoms for their loved ones. |
