Even if the evidence is true:
1) it covered only Borno (what about the rest of Nigeria)
2) it only covered the Senate and HOR elections (what about the presidential i.e. the main issue of contention) - did that constitute overwhelming evidence required to overturn the outcome of the election as specified by law?

Saraki as head of the legislature which is responsible for making laws only, has little say or influence over this matter.
I think the SS governors having weighed their options came to the realisation that the key to Onnoghen's freedom/soft landing rests in the hands of the prosecution, under the executive, headed by Buhari - that is why they have resorted to begging as against their earlier defiance.

Now they want to beg Buhari to "dictate" against CCT ruling.

Yes indeed; after they had raised public sentiments against Buhari and further directed Onnoghen to defy the CCT order to appear before it and answer the charges against him; how do they now propose to undo the damage they had already caused to the president's image - begging at this late point won't cut it.

Buhari should ignore them all and allow the law to take it course - next time these divisive sentimentalists would think twice before they open their irresponsible mouths again.

Unless you not sincere to yourself soon than you think the north won't be safer for the likes of you and the so-called elites. The population explosion in the north would be the greatest undoing for your people, I just hope you won't run away cause they will hunt the elites down.

A large population becomes a problem only if you cannot feed yourself; once you can attain food security then you are over halfway there; because a large population drives consumption which in turn drives the economy; if you can add production on top of that then you have virtually achieved the basic foundation of self sustainability.
Current diversification towards agriculture (amongst others) is moving us towards food security and therefore a step in the right direction; improvement in our infrastructure, power, revival of our (Ajakuta) steel sector along with restriction on our erstwhile frivolous importation would also boost and protect local production - I am therefore not worried because all these policies are already in place and beginning to bear fruit; even though slowly - China and India went through similar experience and we all know what they are today.

Instead of you to worry about our ballooning population and the increasing competition for very scarce resources which has resulted in a sharp and increasing decrease in the standard of living, you are talking about waxing stronger.

So in your mind Nigeria is waxing stronger.

Only pessimists cannot see that we are slowly moving in the right direction.

Our population is an economic asset and will manifest itself once we achieve food security.

First world indigenous populations in Europe and America are contracting and they are afraid of assimilation from immigrants; hence some of the scare tactics and population control measures targeted at the 3rd world who are seen as serious potential emigration threat.
