I am speechless. You dad reminds me of my friend's father that refused his children to touch his cars and when he died, i believe he would have turned in his grave the way the children 'sama' the cars. It is dangerous for a man not to show his children the extent of his estate. If he dies, those properties are lost. I just hope your popsman have a will. That all i can say for now. Just hustle tight and get ur own stuffs If your mum can talk to him, she should make him see the danger of his action. But men like your dad hardly listen to their wives. If he goes to church, then his pastor/priest should speak to him. I wouldn't advice his brothers/family members do that. They make have interest. I am saying this so that your dad's effort don't go to waste not because you should have your eyes on his properties. Get yours too. Last word. If you are a man reading this and you have started acquiring properties, pls get s will done. It doesn't mean you are about to die. Dont wait until you are all grey. I have seen families thrown into turmoil as a result of this. Also, get your next of kin issues settled in your banks. Those of you that, in the Heat of passion used your girlfriends as next of kin and you have kids now, go sort it out. Peace |

When we were small, my niece brought up one crazy theory. She said lux soap used to make someone lost while joy soap gives someone joy. We started throwing away the lux soap until my parents, wondering why a new soap will be finished in the twinkling of an eye, decided to ask us the kids. And we told them. So many lux soap were wasted The good ol dayz |

clarocuzioo: Oga first and foremost theres nothing like critically looking into the matter, if you do you won't come up with this assertion.
Ever since this confused administration came in, it has been loan, loan tax and tax.
Firstly the heavy funds they borrowed in the first term, what did they do with it? There is total infrastructural decay all over the nation. Look at all the federal roads, they are in a mess.
They implemented TSA, telling us they are saving trillions of Naira everyday, they block the borders, customs said it generates over #80B daily ever since closesure of borders, they introduced duty stamp, introduced collection of #50 for every POS transaction, now increased Vat from 5 to 7.5% Collection of #10k for every deposit or withdrawal above #500k, taxing everything taxable.
Increase petrol from #85 to #145, dollar move from #180 to #360 today.
Recovered billions from corrupt politicians and public office holders, even from Abacha loot.
Yet he has absolutely nothing to show for it.
No sensible society will continue like this because it is simply a highway to disaster. God bless you bro. Please speak up let that imp called aufbauh hears |
Romance › Re: Am I Making A Mistake? by nams77: 4:35am On Dec 17, 2019 |
IAmStrange: I have come to notice that most times when human beings fall in love, we lose our willpower. People mistake it for sense - meaning we lose our sense but it's not true in many cases.
The person who is in love can actually have His sense intact and functioning and in every event, he knows the right thing to do... But he just doesn't do it because he has lost his willpower and his resolve has become weak so he runs around seeking advice from people so that their comments can serve as a sort of motivation to carry on with what he already thinks or knows he should do.
Secondly, you were saying he loves you to a fault. I don't want to dispute that. But I want you to know that "love" is not the only thing to be considered when choosing a spouse. You must not - I repeat - you must not marry someone JUST because he loves you. Love is not the only thing that guarantees happiness in a marriage.
There are more important things to be considered.
Do you really think those husbands that send their wives to the hospital after beating them thoroughly do not love their wives? in fact, they sometimes do that due to extreme love and protective jealousy for their wives?
Do you think all those men who womanize and cheat on their wives do not love their wives? In fact, in many cases, they do love their wives and give her all respect and love she deserves and would never allow any man come near her. Yet, they are serious cheats!!!
You are going to live with the character of your man and the character of your man is one of the major factors that will determine if he will make a good husband, father, in law to your people and if he will make a good "head of the family".
So cancel out that idea that "he loves me to a fault" if you think that that's enough for you to give in to him.
It's better for you to marry someone who loves you averagely and he treats you like the "queen" you are than get married to someone who "loves you to a fault" and he treats you like you are "serving a sentence as a prisoner" in his house.
Then thirdly, I want you to know that, that man has serious issues and if I were you, I will flee from entering into a marriage with such a person.
Please open your mind - that guy is going to cage you. He's probably going to make your life miserable.
- He has anger issues. - He has trust issues - He is uncultured (calling your sister a prostitute and hurling insults at you) - He is a wife beater - he jumps to stupid conclusions hastily (calling you a prostitute and going to the extent of taking your pictures) - He checks your phone and wrongly accuses you of different things - His jealousy is overboard
Believe me, A man who has all the above will probably make life miserable for you.
He may be the kind of man that will make you sit at home and cut you off the world. Then he maltreats you and doesn't take care of you, making you age faster and weaker as time goes on. Then he will be giving outsiders the impression that he is taking care of you and when you try to complain, they listen to him and not you.
And when you now start looking miserable, he ends up cheating on you with more beautiful girls out there while he leaves you at home to your misery.
There are men like this out there - that guy may be one.
So I advise you to flee from him. Do not listen to anyone. Don't let anyone pressure you into accepting him. They are not the ones to bear the pain and when you die and they get to know the true story, they will still blame you for accepting him.
That's life!
Then, please, do not also think low of yourself and pressure yourself into accepting him just because single men are not coming or because of your age.
Marrisge is a beAutiful thing but that's only when it's with the right person.
Being happily single is better than being miserably married
If you listen to the stories of many married women out there, you will thank your Lord and consider your single status a blessing, thanking God for saving you from what those married women have experienced.
I don't know your age but I think you are probably "not too old" yet.
Please, think positively of your God, yourself and aim for good.
Leave that man and after you have done that, pray to your Lord to bring you a good man you can settle down with.
And while you are still waiting, please be patient and understand that our major purpose on earth is to serve God. That's the major and true success.
Being single doesn't mean that you are a failure, don't let society pressure you into believing that.
The one who is married doesn't necessarily have more superiority in the eyes of God than the single one. The level of superiority is measured by how much you are close to God, how much of righteousness you achieve on earth and how much you do things that matter to the whole world - things that affect people positively.
Being single may turn out to be a blessing on its own. I know some people who went to very great heights of which it would have been difficult to achieve if they got married. What matters is your happiness, your wellbeing and how much your Creator is pleased with you.
So pray to your Lord and hope for good and be positive that he will send you a good man. But while you are waiting, try to do other meaningful things in your life that will bring you happiness.
Don't settle for a bad man who will make your life miserable.
May God soften your heart and grant you your desires.

I cant really remember anyone i used on my dad but i remembered the one our landlord's son used on his father when i was in still in secondary school. The dude just gained admission then. There was a biology book authored by stone and cozen. Dude went and told his dad that he wants to buy two books one named stone and the other named cozen. ( in reality it is just one single text) but he collected double fund for an imaginary book. Anyway i scammed my aunty then that i had accomodation problem and will be thrown out of my hostel. Sist sent 25k(big sum then) and i use the money arrange my house. How she didnt confirm from my parents still baffles me. I bought a small 14 inch trinitron Sony TV and those small VCD players with speaker at the side and plenty disco lights in the front. (those were the days of vcd players and nokia 3310) I was seen as a big boy then in my lodge as my house was pimped over night with luxury now those things are trash |

Good engine. Lovely interior with the double deckered dashboard and digital odometer. My only concern is the ground clearance. Car is a bit too low. But i have seen a few that have been raised. Career › Re: How To Make Money From Home In Nigeria Through Freelancing by nams77: 4:48pm On Dec 10, 2019 |
Nigeriahomebiz: Hello Nairalanders,
Hope your week is going well so far?
For those looking for ways to make money from home in Nigeria, try freelancing for a start (if you have what it takes). Meanwhile you can request for a free ebook on 20 home businesses you can start in Nigeria by sending me an email: nigeriahomebusiness@gmail.com.
Freelancing is a very lucrative venture but I must warn you, it is very tough. The freelance world is highly competitive but there are a few tips you can use to gain entry and I have personally used these methods to earn a decent living online from my home with just a laptop, internet connection, an email and a telephone.
Find the 6 steps I have used in the past on how to make money from home in Nigeria with freelancing. This is an excerpt from one of my blog post;
Step #1 Join a Freelance Marketplace I personally will recommend not joining more than one freelance website at a time. Like I said earlier my personal preference is www.upwork.com although getting approved is difficult but they offer better incentives for freelancers than the other freelance websites I know of. But the website you choose to join is entirely up to you. Still do some more research of your own to decide which one will serve you best.
Step #2 Build your Profile Before anyone can hire you for a job, they will need to see something about you that will make them interested in chatting you up. That thing must be a profile which will tell them what you are good at, how you can help them achieve their goals and even your rates. It must be very persuasive but also brief and should position you as an expert in that area. It makes sense to also offer some discount for first time employers who work with you to entice them to try you. But the best way to build your profile is to deliver very well on jobs given to you.
Step #3 Build a portfolio of sample Jobs Sometimes the employers would ask for sample jobs to know how qualified and prepared you are to take up the job. That would mean having up to 10 sample jobs ready in your portfolio. You can even attach these sample jobs to your profile for employers to view. This can serve as advertisement for your work in a very competitive freelance marketplace.
Step #4 Start bidding for Jobs Once you have some sample jobs prepared and added to your profile, you can now start bidding for jobs. This is usually the hardest part of the money making process because it will take a lot out of employers to try out a freelancer without any reviews on the website. Hiring you for the job may prove risky to many employers so they would rather not waste their time trying you out but don’t give up. It took me two months to land my first gig on freelancer and when I discovered I could source for clients outside the marketplace on my own then I started blogging to source for clients instead.
Step #5 Promote your work on Social Media and Related Blogs Another way to make money as a freelancer is to use social media and blogs to promote your work. Let’s say you are into graphics design, there are social media websites that enable users to share pictures and graphical images such as pinterest and twitter. You can actually promote your work on these social media platforms to attract potential clients. Linkedin is another fantastic place to promote your freelance work. Then try guest blogging on popular but related blogs (blogs about the skill that you are into) to share your work to an online audience.
Step #6 Get Paid after delivering on Job The final part of the freelance online money making process which will lead to you getting paid in naira. There are different options available. One is to be paid through payoneer (you can withdraw it in Nigeria with your Mastercard). Another option is through Bank Checks. This second method involves you paying the check into your domiciliary account and cashing it out after 10 working days. I did this several times when I was still making good money with google adsense. The third option and this is more common with www.upwork.com is to get paid straight into your naira savings account. Once you reach the threshold amount you can request for payment and it will reflect straight to your bank account in less than 5 working days.
