Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Name The Worst Companies To Work For In Nigeria And Give Your Reasons by nams77: 3:12pm On Oct 11, 2022 |
Simplyfun: After I finished secondary school, I worked with a Chinese company that produces baby jelly cream at ikeja. This chinese people have no respect for human being in that company. Pay is every two weeks but trust me it is peanut. You will end up using the money to treat yourself in the hospital because of the huge workload they would use you to do. I was young and I need to hustle as a secondary school fresh graduate.
There was a day I have worked so hard and I was tired. I sat down close to the factory to have some rest. While there one of the chinese people came and started shouting at me to get back to work immediately. I told him that he should allow me to rest for a little time that I am tired. Hearing this the chinese man told me that I am fired (Sacked) I was surprised.
I tried to beg him but he said that I should go. When I realized that I can't change his mind. I told him to pay me for the days I have worked. He asked me to wait and went inside. Later he came outside and asked me to follow him to his office. While in his office this Chinese man started accusing me that I stole his phone and before I could a say a word he started slapping me and demanding for his phone. I was shocked, confused, just stood in his office crying.
Few minutes later, the Chinese man called mopol to arrest me. The mopol came and drag me to the factory security post. While the mopols were dragging me i saw the name of one of them and immediately I know he is a Yoruba man. So I communicated to him in Yoruba language. I told him everything that happened; how I told him I was tired and how he sacked me, how I requested for my pay for the days I worked. When I finished talking the mopol just laughed and said that is their trick here oh. The mopol told me that it is because the Chinese man doesn't want to pay me the money that's why he lied that I stole his phone.
While I was in the security post my friends in my area who also work in the factory have gotten hint of was going on outside. May your soul rest in peace my guy (Ikenna) dude and people that know me in my area have already began protesting in the compound. They said they are not working again as well and they must pay me my money or else nobody would be allowed to work.
When the Chinese people saw the craziness that was playing out from my friends. They called me again into their office and pay me my money. My friends also collected their money and that's how we all left this slavery Chinese factory at Ikeja.
This incident happened more than 15years ago. Whenever I look back I just imagine what would have happened to me if I didn't have those friends to fight for me. That's how I would have been sent to prison by a foreigner in my fatherland oh. Honestly, our government need to be going round all establishment and be talking to staff on how their employeer are treating them. There are so many slavery work in this country and people can't come out to talk about them because of fear of losing the job. Can you imagine? And the police people can't even take side with their own people after knowing what is going on |

Omo... Thanks for this. In Calabar here, I have some connections in an Indian run company called Agrim (a company at EPZ that produces alcoholic drinks) , I was hoping to "pull some strings" to get a job there.... But now I'll be more observant for any red flags before I finally make up my mind.
My own addition is simple...

Madness looks good on him Thought I was the only one who noticed that. He looked more handsome and even younger when he was mad. Though he was more dirtier They should have just shampooed his hair and bath and change him. Would have been better that way |

GRACEGLORY: Antichrist isn’t a chip, it’s a mark
About 3,000 Swedes have had microchips implanted on the backside of their hands—containing credit card information and other digital data.
At one company, employees with a microchip can wave their hands to unlock the door, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP). People can also use the microchips to buy train tickets.
Technology is GOD invented, not satanic even though satan is imitating.
We shouldn’t allow our environment help us misunderstand scriptures thereby limiting GOD’s blessings in our life
The scriptures says, on their right hand or forehead, but chip is implanted where each individual is comfortable to carry it, some have it in the arm right or left, some in between their index finger and thumb, be it the left hand or right.
The scripture can’t be broken. If it says right hand or left, that’s where satan will insist.
So, calm down it’s a mere tech chip My brother get it right. It doesn't mean that this is the antichrist now, the import here is thst the technology is being fine tuned innocently but will be hijacked by the antichrist |

If ASUU was INEC or National Assembly, there demands would have been even if it means borrowing. The country has been mismanaged and you all blame it on ASUU. Most Nigerians are crazy. lhordspy: Joker. You should be a comedian. Japan retaliate? Lol. That will be a recipe for disaster, exactly what Northkorea is looking for. They will nuke the nonsense out of japan. Their western ally and puppeteer, U.S will not be able to do nada. Having witnessed how the westerners pushed ukraine into calamity garnished with extreme disaster, they wouldn't dare.
Thank God, Japan are wiser to know better, they wouldn't want to experience a hiroshima and Nagasaki disaster for a second time. Well, you are a child and don't know nothing about warfare. North Korea is a toddler where Japan is. Caution does not means weakness. You think war is like your WWF you watch at home? Even super powers are exercising caution because once it starts, it will snowball into a horrifying monstrosity Which Wil have dire consequences for everyone. Don't bother quoting me pls. Go and read up. War is not all about missiles. War involves your economy and ability to sustain the war

Career › Re: Please I Urgently Need Advice by nams77: 8:47pm On Oct 04, 2022 |
Karlifate: Ankiboy,
My comment will be based solely on your course of study;
You're an Electrical Engineering student.
Learn the practical aspect inorder to augment the theory you've been taught (and will still be taught) in school. Humble yourself and undergo this apprenticeship.
Also, research about relevant software that's useful in your line of studies and also learn them.
Look up people that are doing well in this career path, observe what they do different and what makes them stand out.
Leverage this opportunity you have to be able to study Electrical Engineering, there are many opportunities therein IF you know what you're doing.
Don't let your grade limit you. Exactly. Learn the practical aspects of your course - house wiring |

One of the most important attributes for being an adult is the ability to control one's emotions and not be thoughtlessly impulsive I wonder the type of men we are breeding these days- spineless, lily-livered wimps. Kill a woman because of wetin? I can only kill in self defense and if someone is unfortunate to take out my family member... Nowadays men/boys are so wimpy |

He didn't call himself hamzats son. Those interested in the case should initiate the process. dominique: Why should he be arrested? Did he identify himself as the deputy governor's son? Some people took his photos and passed it around, but he's the culprit? So if some random people take my photos and start passing it around that I'm Buhari's daughter, I can get arrested for it? Something is fundamentally wrong with our people in power First sane point I'm seeing compared to all the foolish comments above. Nigerians, especially our rulers are daft. Just imagine! |
