Agugbadin: You are correct man, why did they not explain the principle of operation, there is a Japanese car that runs on water, it was not commercialized, it same principle water is splited into hydrogen and oxygen Because the running cost to move that vehicle made no economic sense. Yet people are here believing this fake story. This is the type of revolution that earns nobel peace price but alas it's fake news from lazy bloggers and gullible folks |

technicallyrich: so many things, that were impossible today is possible. Na small na him dem they take catch monkey. Yes but still this is not possible at least for school children. Just Google up the energy required to break water molecules to produce energy and you'd see why you will be running deficit using this fake generator |

People are indeed gullible. To manufacture power from water is near impossible not to talk of that contraption seen in this pic. The reason is simple the amount of energy required to spilt water molecules to produce energy definitely work be greater than the energy produced from said split molecules to produce hydrogen atoms making it useless. You can't just put water flip a switch and bam eletric power This is not the ist time we've seen this garbage next time when we don't hear of it, we Blame the govt instead of the crooks that invented this story |

NextDayPP: Please note this is just to explain what that 75 input voltage means. If I were to use this on a 12v system, I would rather have 2 150w in series than have 3 100w panels. The cc would have less conversion to perform, which equals less heat generated. Thanks for replying but the idea is can i connect 800w in 2x2 configuration keeping within limits of 75vdc and 25A? |

House pls help what's the best pv array config for max 75v and 25A and cable size for distance about 15 to 20m And now other question why will a manufacturer stated max power of mppt in watts and still state max open circuit voltage it can withstand and max charge in amps. For example for above the oem state máx 600W for 75v and 25 a shouldn't it be 75 x 25=1875 watts? |

GeorgeD1: as far as desulphators go, I've been using the bls (battery life saver) for years now and I must say I'm impressed with it's performance. regardless of the seemingly negative sentiments against desulpators on here, I wouldn't be caught out without one. I remember a couple years ago when thunder struck my system and damaged my first bls, the speed with which I rallied to replace it speaks volumes about the high premium I place on it's benefits.
this and other good practices have ensured my zenith batteries have gone over six years now without needing replacement. Any equalization done? |

olatade: Hi guys, badly in need of some advice here
Saw this device online and I'm wondering if it can work with my luminous 12volts 220amp tubular battery for a smooth desulfation process, meaning there would be no need for equalizing charge(my inverter does not Equalise) Have not seen this before any reviews? Meanwhile some people still believe desufators are snake oil but if u insist you can get the more popular powerpulse. I intend to buy it on black Friday to test ie if it's cheaper that day |

kiekie1: Hello , qasa might not have lasted as desired for you but since lithium battery fans are rare to get and bit pricey if seen, I advice you get same Lontor i have been using for past 3yrs and still serving... I have 2 specs(mist and normal rechargeable types) which I procured and quickly changed its batteries to a more original brand. I also remembered having battery issues with a black & decker drill but been very satisfied with a lithium battery cordless hammer drill i procured for site jobs few months ago.. See pic's below; Thanks for replying which original battery brand did you change to? Might need to get them for the qasa |

Although you'd have to adjust for temp I'm using what my Bros Eastman inverter uses for tubular which is 28.8v for bulk and 27.6 float |

Noted bigrovar: First of all, ipoweplus is not an Axpert Mks clone. It IS axpert Mks in all but name. It was made by Voltronic the axpert Oem for zinox Nigeria.
Secondly and to your earlier question. Most Indian inverters do have settings for tubular batteries. However I have not observed the difference between charge profile when you use for example tubular charge settings on the Indian inverters. I once wrote to sukam to ask if their inverter is capable of equalisation and I was told it does though in close to a year of using the inverter I never once observed it carry out equalisation (maybe it did but I never observed it)
And you are right on one thing tubular battery is the dominant battery in India the way AGM dominate Nigeria. The reason is because it was built specifically for Indian environment and they are installed with after sale services incorporated in pricing so when you buy a tubular battery you get periodic maintenance visits from the seller to carry out water top up maintenance. Another reason why the battery seem to last in India is because at 1.2kw per Capita compared to Nigeria which has 20w per Capita Indians have much better access to reliable electricity than Nigeria hence 1 layer of battery bank is sufficient for most homes. The highest battery capacity is 150ah to 180ah so the 15A dc current charge output of Indian inverters is just adequate for the battery (that is 10% of the battery capacity at c20) . When you add all this and reliable power you will u understand why batteries in India will last longer when used with Indian inverters.
Not equalising a battery won't kill it over night. It will just whittle down its capacity and lifespan. A battery can last for 4 years but have less than 40% of its original capacity left .another can last for 4 years and still have over 80% of original capacity left. Users of both batteries will boost about their batteries lasting for 4 years and would be right. You just need to ask yourself which of the 4 year camp would you rather be at? |

earthrealm: THE MEAT OF THE MATTER IS THAT ANY INVERTER, THAT DOESNT HAVE BATTERY type selector switch or adjustable charge voltage setpoints, will not charge any battery well, moreso an fla battery. the old style luminous/simba/cyberpower inverters lacked this important feature, but used same algorithim for charging all battery types - this is bad!! Yes I understand but I'm talking about inverters with the battery type selector which the new Indian inverters and the Axpert clone ipowerplus has attached is from manual of axpert Mks and my bro Eastman hybrid inverter
|
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Namzy(m): 7:36am On Aug 30, 2018 |
I keep on hearing about axpert clone and Indian inverters etc can't properly charge a tubular battery and then I ask is it not the same manufactures of said tubular batteries manufactured the inverters too especially India brand? If u go to Indian forum where tubular batteries are popular you'd see some using their tubular batteries with Indian inverters for 5yrs plus. I can understand the issue of equalizing said batteries for longer life but I cannot understand why these inverters won't charge the batteries till float. Every tubular battery manufacturing there own specs including minimum and maximum allowed charging current. So I don't think we'd use same voltage figures for all tubular batteries. Some even will say charge current of FLA batteries should not be more than 10% of battery capacity yet I have seen people here using inverters and cc with over 20% of battery capacity to charge FLA batteries in 5 hours or less. Meanwhile my bro has been using his Eastman 2kva 24v hybrid inverter with Eastman tubular batteries for past 6 months and it has been serving him well. I don't want to spend that kind of money and be regretting that's why the research is still ongoing |

DUNKA: Please confirm if your icellpower 2kva inverter is not an Axpert inverter branded as icellpower. Alot of companies brand Axpert with their own names but in reality it is still an Axpert.
Take a picture of the inverter our learned gurus will be able to tell you if it is a branded Axpert. The problem is not whether icellpower is axpert clone. The problem is paying extra money to buy a hybrid and still buy a charge controller. Ipowerplus is a hybrid and is more expensive than icellpower which is not a hybrid. I was thinking if I buy the hybrid then no need to buy charge controller in future but with ur submission and that of big.. Then I'll go for the icellpower and later buy a charge controller |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Namzy(m): 12:49pm On Jul 27, 2018 |
bigrovar: The answer is simple. I had the 2 charge controllers before getting the axpert inverter. The controller has more features and better charge algorithm and performance than the axpert. Lastly I am a convert of the Unix philosophy a tool that does one thing and does it well. Axpert is best an inverter which is what I use it for. I am not planning to use solar now just inverter and tubular batteries and from your submission is better to stick to the icellpower 2kva inverter and then buy a charge controller when i upgrade to solar rather than use the axpert 2kva hybrid inverter which is more expensive and still buy a charge controller when i want to upgrade |
