I remember my early work days as an after-sales repair tech, when people try to even give money for repairs of their warranty products, either to speed up the lead time or to show appreciation for providing a prompt repair service, I always turned down such money and told them it was their right to enjoy such service.

I further found myself in an industry where people earn millions, but still find a way to fraudulently accrue some extra thousands they do not merit.

What is so tempting in cheating your fellow man or employer that already over-pamper you?

Get a Nigerian to run a public agency or a private firm, and he is already contemplating fraudulent schemes to fiddle with the books, or to extort contractors and vendors before recommending their services or products.

I would not even bother with sales representatives. If the employers knew how much their products are actually sold to government, private firms and individuals, their sluggish annual profits would have been a financial windfall. While those buying would have eliminated a lot of waste due to high costs purchase by their fraudulent procurement team.

Yet, these criminal workers are the ones that complain the most.

I will live on an honest wage and whatever profits I can make from my investments. If I get to be wealthy, I would have earned it, but not at the expense of extortion, theft and fraud.

So i went to LG to complain about the high consumption of my 1hp inverter ac..700w on gen mode and 1500w on normal mode.
They promised to send a technician to come check it out later.
On my way out....saw this sticker..and was wondering if my complaint was even in order ...

But some people here said theirs consume 400w on gen mode..??.
Am contemplating buying a 2nd unit..but thinking of haier thermoccool now..would appreciate feedback from folks using the inverter ac

This is almost a week now that a group in Rivers State has demanded for the autopsy report on the corpse of this man to be made public, all to no avail. I heard Dr. Lloyd repeat same demand towards the end of the AIT clip. If we remove our emotions and think rationally, we should be worried that a document as simple as an autopsy report has not been made public, at least, to shame those critics who claim that the man was never shot.

It may interest you to know that the man was purportedly shot on the day of the gubernatorial election, 9th March 2019 and he was said to have died on the 16th March. Less than 24 hours later, the Governor went to pay a condolence visit to the family and made a pledge or donation of 200 million naira to them. The Governor never visited the man throughout the seven days he was said to have spent in the hospital. Any right thinking individual would wonder why a fraction of that money was not made available to fly him abroad for further medical treatment. There has been no public mention of any surgery on this man throughout the seven days he spent in the hospital. A man shot at close range, no surgery and no attempt to fly him abroad the way politicians normally do for a whole week?

Even from the video, no drop of blood was seen for someone ostensibly shot at the stomach from close range from the rifle of a SARS operative. This should be a miraculous wonder. As a doctor rightly identified here, the dressing of the wound is not consistent with that of a bullet wound. The manner in which the man waited for the cameraman before clutching his stomach and fell is what Dr. Lloyd was describing as Nollywood. A critical mind would have noticed that the shooting had long stopped before the man fell, got up, and fell again. The whole thing was too dramatic for me and one could hear a voice telling him to fall again when he tried to get up.

The most critical point for any unbiased mind is the absence of a drop of blood on the man in the video. Gunshots were heard but I think the Policemen were not shooting at the people. Did anyone else apart from Dr. Ferry got hit by a bullet? Anybody could curse and argue blindly but the only way to convince doubting thomases like me that this man was actually shot is to make the autopsy report available for the public. QED.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the video and pictures. But when it comes to things like this I prefer keeping my reservations to myself since I was not in ground zero. Chidi being a politician should have kept his reservation to himself but typical of who he is, he went public. Nigerian politicians are cursed already and perhaps that is why we will keep regressing until they are forcefully retired.

Bleeding has been arrested over there in Ogoni. He died at a hospital in ph which is about 1-2hrs drive from the place where the incident occurred. Most likely a case of BID. Of course they must have arrested the bleeding before transferring him to ph. That dressing you see there must be something they just placed to cover the injury after exposing it for picture taking(for lawsuit), then cover back with just a gauze and 2 straps of plaster(you know how dead bodies are treated with less care in naija).
Looking at the injury it's obvious no exlap was done, pointing to BID.

For those arguing use your head. This is not a joke or something to be showing your 10 kobo medical expertise here. This happened for real.

That's a dead man lying there from gunshot wound and you are here blabbing rubbish. Even though the dressing is not looking too good, what if the dressing was taken off to assess the injury post mortem before that picture was taken?
Reason before commenting and exposing your shallow knowledge of balistic injuries. You can go to St Patrick'a hospital at Ogbunabali, PH to know more if you wish to.

Bro, i know you're a doctor but not sure you live in Nigeria talkless of the rural part of the country.. Your medical knowledge here is only relevant in the cities and mind you not even all cities in the country have a functioning A and E unit..


Polling units are sometimes located way off from hospitals so bleeding of the stomach as a result
of gunshot can easily lead to death..


Wonder how you expect laprotomy in such a rural place
without factoring a good hospital with theatre, electricity to power medical machines , blood bank and even a surgeon and anaesthesist on call, forgetting its even election day..

Car is supposed to have been parked for nothing less than 48 hours (2 days) before oil is changed. This is to ascertain that the transmission is totally cold before opening and replacing oil.
Also the right and quality transmission oil for the vehicle should be ascertained. Research on the manufacturer specified oil and replace properly.

Equalisation can only be enabled through the victron connect software for victron charge controllers. The particular brand of fangpuson u are using is a clone of the victron mppt bluesolar controllers. Since late 2016, victron have made it difficult to use their official victron connect software with the fangpusun clones.. Often times they inject a silent kill switch to the fangpunsun which gradually kill the controller. This happens when you try to connect the fangpusun with a victron connect software (least from november 2016).. It was because of this issue that fangpunsun starting making a "*new*" bluesolar with a new casing that comes without the victron connect port hence making it impossible for users of their product to mess with victron software and end up causing damage.

Your options are in 2 folds.

1 find online an older version of the victron connect app (I am using version 1.7) and that seem to work without issues. Once you get this you ccan connect it to the fanpusun cc with the ve usb port. The newer models without the port on the surface can still be used but it would need to be opened up.

The best and easiest option 2 is to just manually increase your absorption charge voltage to 15.5 per 12v and ensure you maintain this for close to 2 hours. This is pretty much what absorption charge does anyway. The downside is you lose automatic equalization which is suppose to happen once every 30 month at least. But trust me, you always want to be there when equalizing batteries just to keep an eye on things so option 2 might not be as bad as it sounds.

Mr namzy, i rili don't understand where u r driving at tbh, the fangpusun controller I'm talkin abt has equalization settings, u can jst scroll the menu and activate it. D controller has its display screen and selection buttons embedded in it. U dnt need any cable, victron screen, USB blablabla.
Secondly for the panel, the higher the price is not proportional to quality. It's jst a brand thing. We r jst dropping brands and reviews here based on what we laid our hands on. Remember the cc war in previous post.... Gracias

For the panels buy Any1 dat suits ur budget, if the fund is available, go for Canadian solar.
It's better u get an external cc, 40amps epsolar or 50amps fangpusun with display. I won't advice u get the led version, as u ll stil b tempted to buy an external monitor, whtz d point wen u can't see whtz happening, hw do u also troubleshoot.

if the inverter is charging at 15 amp in presence of grid then the CC will only contribute 5 amps if the grid is not available then CC will add max 22 amps ( max C10 charge rate) if set higher the battery life will be reduced. It is an overkill to add separate CC considering the 1500 VA inverter is actually a 900 Watt inverter at 25 DEG C

I recently installed a 1.5Kva Luminous Solar Hybrid Inverter with 2 220ah Luminous Flooded Inverlast batteries. The load on the inverter is roughly 10 5Watt LED bulbs, 2 70w fans and a 32 inch LED TV with GoTV decoder.

I want to add some solar panels and I have several questions:

1) What Solar panels do you recommend with PROVEN high production efficiencies? I read of Flames, Suntech, Canadian Solar, Yingli, etc. etc.

2) The Luminous Solar Hybrid has an in-built CC of 40a. Does anyone have experience with this inverter? Should I still buy a separate MPPT for the solar setup or use the inbuilt?

3) I read about the importance of equalizing batteries. How often should I do this for my batteries, what charger should I use and for how long?
