i guess i would ask why you got the visa if you weren't sure if you were travelling or not. Anyway, you should probably not quit your job. Take a vacation from your job and come to visit. Look around ask questions see what goes on here for yourself and even bring your documents and look for jobs. (not to accept the job but to see how marketable you are in the job market)

Now after your visit, if all went well and you have a place you can live, you have an idea of the job market and you calculated how much you can possibly be making compared to your life in Nigeria, then you should make your decision.

people will tell you to go people will tell you not to go. Seeing life here for yourself will be valuable in making your decision so you don't go into something you might not have anticipated.

All what I am saying is that ppl should stop taking dumb risks and mistakes like this with the hope that someone will clean up the mess .there are car marts all over ,if you want to buy a car go to one ,if you want to pay any deposit for anything common sense states that you should collect a receipt from such a person or company.

Cant you see that fortuneval has no case here?he transferred 1 million naira to "virtual" person he meant online. No receipt was even given to him by the accused to indicate receipt of the money or what it was for. This case is more less like someone transferring money to a wrong account number

My self introduction letter which I drafted on my work letter head states I'm spending two weeks but I changed my mind and booked hotel for 5 nights and also booked airline for 5 days too. Can I go ahead and submit like that or should I draft a new letter and should I use the letter head or just type on a plain A4 paper Thank you all

The account statement wasn't a bulk deposit,made a cashflow of over 6months.
I booked directly with the hotel,Holiday Inn Sandton, Johannesburg

My visitor visa was denied...I submitted on the 5th Feb,got d UPS dispatch dis morning.
The refusal note states"Document not convincing"
I submitted the following documents;
Yellow Card
Personal Statement of Acc of 900k
Intro letter from work
Letter of intent
Paid Hotel reservation
Booked flight with SAA
Photocopy of Work ID
My payslip from work.
Please house,am i missing any other tin or how does one convince the visa officer abt purpose of visit.
I have attached the refusal letter,ur advice and responses will b appreciated.

I did not cancel it at all and hotel says its not cancelled, just called them.
