etrange: Thanks for reaching to my reaching out!
Province? I have chosen, changed my mind, chosen again and changed my mind again... First, I wanted Quebec as I speak French. Then I got a letter from CIC advising that I choose any other province asides Quebec. They even listed links to bodies that will help me settle in the francophone communities of these anglophone provinces. This is in a bid to spread French across the country. Then I switched to Calgary. I later read somewhere that their oil dependent economy is ailing and jobs are becoming a bit scarce. Then I chose BC. That was before I learned how expensive it is over there. Ontario isn't any better. So I am back to Quebec.
The Planning for Canada guys no longer accept BIL.
Guess I will settle for the leaving in Canada thread.
Thanks! For Quebec, don’t you need to also complete another immigration application? This can keep you busy. Reading the living in Canada thread will likely make you more anxious. You can unfollow this thread or other related threads if it adds to your anxiety and check on it once in a while. Overall assure yourself that your application is fine and just wait it out. I think you only have reason to feel anxious after the 6month mark. Check your processing times with other people with same AOR, this will help give some perspective and keep you calm. |

Suspectzero: You see how people like to twist things and turn it into something else. My post was purely about people whining about PPR scripts. I never said people's questions shouldn't be answered. I myself have answered some questions on other forums, it's normal to help people in need or want. My issue is condemning people who don't choose to write indepth stories about their journey to PPR. It is simply uncalled for. I've gained most knowledge from direct question threads, not PPR tales involving Inspector Moshood.
So please don't get it twisted. Let people share what they want to share. It's only on Nairaland i see this nonsense about PPR novels. Never on CanadaVisa Forums. God bless you for this. I couldn’t have said it better |

ambo1: URGENT!!! Please my elders here help a brother out...i just passed the ielts and am about to start the process. The issue is that am planning to get married to my girl, and she is in her final year in university, when I calculated my score it fell to 449 as against 471 in case I intend to apply as a single person. Do I apply as single so that when I get there I come and pick her or is there any way around it? I am open to ideas.... Please help me. This has been discussed a lot, use the search bar for more info. I don’t know what factors have gone into the joint score of 449 but if you can get her to write ielts (if she hasn’t), then more points for you guys. If you have considered all this and your joint score is still at 449. Then apply as a single applicant and get married after AOR. Your CRS will not be recalculated post AOR. Inform CIC via CSE after the marriage and you will be given 30 days to send additional documents (updated POF included.) Bear in mind that this might raise the need for an Interview later on in your application. |

Omonoba1981: Please Guru in the house. Who can advice, my elder sister has writen IELTS 4 times and the 5th time she ihave Listening 6.0 and Writing 6.0 while Reading 6.5 and speaking 7.5 .
How can she increase her score. Any tips The only thing I feel is allowed to give you problem in IELTS is writing because the people that mark it don’t have sense. Every other thing should be a walkover. Let her download the official Cambridge tests and practice her listening and reading thoroughly. Her average score in the practice will most likely be her score on the real test. If her English comprehension or general skills is bad, she will see notice that she will notice that she will continue to struggle on the tests no matter how much she practices. In that case, she might need classes or can teach herself through online classes. For writing, she can join the WhatsApp groups or classes available on this group. Check out ieltsadvantage. Constant practice and also get someone to review. She needs lots of time before she writes her 6th test. She should give it 6 weeks at least. No hurry. |

raphrulz: Hello,
If you have completed your ACCA exams (including professional level), you will get the desired WES assessment of "a Canadian 4-year equivalent" degree. This you will get irrespective of whether you claimed exemptions using ICAN or not.
I personally claimed exemptions using ICAN for f1 to f4, and did only the professional level. My ACCA transcript was assessed as equivalent to "a Canadian 4-year Bachelor's degree".
So fear not.
CC: Realone2012 You got exemptions from f1 - f4 or f1-f9? |

realone2012: So does that mean I can't get two or more degree even after finishing the ACCA (professional level)? I don’t know about that but WES might just evaluate your ACCA Membership / Affiliate status favourably. Try it and see how it goes. |

realone2012: Morning guyz. Please I have a question. I have been reading about being able to use ACCA (F1 - F9, diploma) for two or more alongside your Degree.
I am currently a professional student of ACCA (got exempted for F1 - F9) because I already have ICAN. So please, can I still use ACCA as two or more? Thank you all! No you won’t get the advanced diploma certificate as you got full exemptions. |

venorite: I wrote the first one January and the second one March, I feel the gap affected my performance and I didn’t want that to happen. I know the dynamics of this exam, just that I don’t know where I am wrong The gap could not have affected your performance if you were studying hard from January to March. Don’t be in a hurry to write another one. Taking a break to study properly can’t affect your performance. |

Upton: So I decided to verify my documents to be submitted and the information I have given online, only for me to realise that I filled 54 hours per week in one of my work experience before I entered the Express entry pool but my employer wrote 51 hours per week in the reference letter she gave me. Can I change it to 51 hours per week in my eAPR or should i get another reference.
The thing is we were working 51 hours when I was employed but she later increased it to 54 hours; I disagreed initially but i still ended up working 52 hours to 54 hours every week because there was always work to do. No need getting another reference as you still meet the requirement on working hours. You can change it. |

radautoworks: Nope. When our coupons are single use only, they'll say so. Alright. I got a different information from the person at the front desk. He said it’s one time only. One more question pls, is the part cost included in what’s called major repair or that only for the labour cost. If it is, and the part is unavailable now, can I order it now and enjoy the discount. Thanks. |

flosk: Take note of the question.
The person did not asked about f1-f9(which is equivalent to advanced diploma)
The question was about f4-f9 It doesn’t matter because you get an exemption from the rest. The certificate is the same regardless. Mine was for f5-f9, got the same advanced diploma and got evaluated by Wes as usual. No difference |

Orange1234: Congratulations to all PPR recipients. God is indeed awesome! Please I would like to find out if anyone in 2019 has evaluated ACCA advanced diploma in accounting and business (F4 to F9 subjects) from WES. If so, please what was the outcome? Was it one year diploma? It is equivalent to 3 year Bachelors degree and you can definitely use it for the purpose of two or more degrees. Doesn’t matter whether it’s f1-f9 or f4-f9, you get the same advanced diploma certificate. Did mine (f5-f9) with Wes late last year. |

Josefuadjr: Just so we are clear: are you saying that anyone who charges you for services they are about to offer you is a fraud? You asked for something, you were charged, how is that fraud? It's not like you paid and he didn't deliver... what exactly is the fraudulent act? I am saying offer it in public. It sets a bad precedent because anyone can come here, gain popularity, collect money in their DMs and deactivate profile. Most of what is done here is free and the knowledge here has saved people millions of naira. This is that kind of thread where people help each other freely and willingly, so if you're going to be collecting money from people, be transparent and put it on the thread, let everyone scrutinize and don't offer paid services via DM only. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by NanaF: 6:47am On Mar 11, 2019 |
Josefuadjr: What you fail to recognize is that you, my dear, who were trying to save some money (that everyone is actually paying), are the true pauper.
If you were soooooo wealthy, you would have paid either for your courier or his meagre 10k. Whether you agree with his method of passing the message across or not, this sets a very bad precedent. It creates room for fraud. It’s a problem if people can gain popularity on the thread and then collect money in private. If you’re offering a service for a fee, offer it in public before going to do it in private. Just like the waec guy who advertised his service. No foul play there. Btw, before the OP called him a pauper, the address guy had called him poor too. |

jjohndoe83: Thanks for the kind review. I'm unable to decipher what's wrong with the bolded letters. Its an informal letter btw. Ah. If you can’t see what’s wrong with the bolded you have lots of work to do o. There’s some he didn’t add. For example, you can’t say you’re ‘challenging’ the ielts exam. Small advice: keep it simple. Seems like you try to write ‘big grammar’ and then complicate things. Wishing you all the best |

I wonder why you will not be as detailed as others with your PPR script.
At least you gained from others and must have read other people's ppr script. SO what would you want people to gain from the ppr announcement you have given here.
Well... I will rate this script 1/10. Please, add more details so the score can be revised.

Banemu: My budget for traveling is 2M for everything excluding flight and I don't have a specific kind of visa in mind, I just want something with long term
Now, here are my conditions;
-2M max for every expenses maybe excluding flight tickets. - My highest certificate is O'level from 2011 - I have good working experience at various areas( software accounting-Sage, QuickBooks and POS, sales management, security and light-duty cleaning) - I have a friend in Canada that is ready to accommodate me for as long as I want and handle other basic living expenses with a vouching ability
To be clear, I want people with substantial information and clear understanding of my position to help guide me not recommend agents please.
I don't mind, study/work visa since they are long term or even Express entry. My money no plenty abeg!
I would appreciate any good insight as to what to do and best course of action please. What kind of visa would work best for me as I desire a long time plan. It’s not enough for you to migrate to any developed country. It’s not even just about the money, you don’t have enough work experience or educational qualifications. Don’t let anyone deceive you or scam you into parting with money to give an agent, they can’t help you also. |
