Guys that have been mentioning me, abeg dont add salt upon my injuries. What happened was very painful. I'm slowly recovering so do me jejely bikonu.

Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade are rogues. They ought to be banned from ever going near our national teams again.

You see, it's not the defeat that is the problem, it's the manner of the defeat. After the defeat, I made a few calls to Nigeria journalists that are there with them in New Zealand and the revelations were startling. The man we taught was an upright man is actually a shenanigan. I'm more than disappointed.

The following tweets are by the guy who was supplying us with the team lineup and inner news of camp and team happenings. He is alos highly respected by @guysly2much whom a couple of people here get their inside sources from. Look at what he has to say

All tweets by https://twitter.com/MuyiwaLawal . You can check his timeline to confirm for yourself.

Well, I guess it's time to move on. Hopefully, the boys succeed on an individual level.

Those that are saying we've deserted the thread, you are merely sour losers, trying to gloat in your prediction that the team is overrated. There is nothing overrated in this team. I stand convinced that no team can stand the firepower in this team save for the filthy lucre of the coach.

I still stand by the boys, not the team managed by those fraudsters.
If you read my summary and analysis during and after Nigeria's elimination, you would see that it isn't different from this revelation, it was obvious even to the blind man that the combo he arranged particularly on our midfield was a mediocre one. I guess the most persistent agents has to be those of Bulbwa and Ifeanyin Ifeanyin. Useless coach!

You see why Manu Garba is a foool? Imagine teams like Senegal and Mali in the semis while the so much talented Nigerian team couldn't go through. The Malian midfield cordination is superb cos the coach had his best legs there unlike our yeye coach that put up riff raffs on the midfield due to sentiments and the fact he wants to get clubs by force by fire for some players...I wonder how much he collected...eediot! There was nothing spectacular about the German team, on a good day, our team if well arranged can trash that German side with at least 3 goals to nil. Manu Garba really disappointed us. Congrats to Mali and Senegal.

Hahaha...very funny. Don't mind that yeye bank, the thing is that the slots are usually shared among the bosses and staff from the HQ and major shareholders. The funny thing is that most of those selected are usually incompetent. Mehn, I worked like mad...IT,tellering,fund transfer, etc and you will see someone without requisite knowledge and doing virtually nothing earning 3 times+ of your salary and with all the full blown benefits while you get your small salary and nothing else for you. I resigned sharply as that could cause a psychological problem for me. Nigerian labour law has gone to sleep.

Good solution, naturalwaves. But I don't think you can mathematically cancel "!" signs like that. It's just sufficient to say (6-x)=4, I believe.
thanks sir, what you have up there and mine are the same just that you cancelled yours and didn't indicate while I showed mine. We both cancelled it. I thought about it too and came up with the conclusion that it can be cancelled provided that the l.h.s equates to the r.h.s. For example, if x! = y!, then x must be = y. If x! = (y+z)!, then x must be equal to (y+z) and so on and that was why I cancelled it. I wouldn't mind any example that disproves these facts. Thanks.

Sorry about your plight OP...that's what most of these firms do particularly those with major shareholders where the slots would have been shared. Nigerian Flourmills and Nigeria Breweries are two other companies I know that do that backdoor recruitment thing even after spanking their tests. Infact, it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than to get a job on merit in those companies.

3. Prove that the equation mx(x2 + 2x + 3) = x2 – 2x – 3 has exactly one real root if m = 1 and exactly 3 real roots if m= -2/3

For this question, you can use Descartes's rule of signs. You should actually use the more detailed Sturm's extension of this rule, but i think the former could be okay here.
Descartes's rule of signs says if v is the variation of sign in a polynomial p(x) and the number of positive real zeros (roots) is n, then
n<=v and v-n is even.

Same applies to number of negative real zeros with p(-x)

With m=1, you get
x3 + x2 + 5x + 3 = 0

p(x) = x3 + x2 + 5x + 3
No sign variation, so v=0.
n will also be 0 so there are no positive real roots.

p(-x) = -x3 + x2 - 5x + 3

Number of sign variation is 3 (- to + to - to +)
n will be 1, so that 3-1 is even. So there's a negative real root.

Equation thus has one negative real root and two complex roots which will be conjugates.

With m= -2/3

p(x) = -(2/3)x3 - (7/3)x2 + 3

Number of sign variation is 1. n will be 1 so that 1-1=0 which is even.
Hence, one positive real root.

p(-x) = (2/3)x3 - (7/3)x2 + 3.

Number of sign variation here is 2. n cannot be 1, cos v-n should be even. So n is 2. And 2-2=0.
So we have two negative real roots.

Hence, three real roots (one positive and two negative)
To be honest, I do not know much about those principles but I could read through his solution and try and break it down for you in my spare time.

SportsRe: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by naturalwaves: 9:11pm On Jun 11, 2015
When we critically analyzed the entire team and the poor way they play, some of you came here with #Manuknowsbest jargons. We may not be a football coach but we aren't blind when we watch matches. Moreover, there was a time great coaches like MOU, Wenger, Van gal, Ancelloti etc were mere spectators like us. The lesson is....don't be too patriotic to the point of not wanting to reason with sensible posts.

Most people here do not know that Manu Garba is a green snake under the green grass (a very great pretender). His strong point is that he can source for talents and his weak point is that he is a very very sentimental coach. Even if the facts are glaring to him, his sentiments wouldn't allow him do the proper thing. He has certain players that he is loyal to and are loyal to him and tends to give them the first spot no matter what. I will use some examples to justify this.

During the African under-17 nations cup, he picked Bulbwa over Ihenacho, Ihenacho was usually coming from the bench and with the little time he(Ihenacho) played( 3 matches) , he scored 4 goals. Moreover, his ball movements and all was clear even to a blind man that he was far far better than Bulbwa but the coach wouldn't put him ahead of Bulbwa.

During the run up to the FIFA under-17 world cup, thanks to the MRI scan, Bulbwa failed the test and some of this under 20 guys too ( the picture fool,no3) who was replaced with Okon( who showed he was better too).I think Ifeanyin ifeanyin failed it too just to mention a few and that was what gave the likes of Ihenacho, Okon and co the chance to show the stuffs they are made of and they shone like a million stars.

When the under 20 world cup approached and those guys ( the ones that failed) came back, he gave them the front gear in his squad and I am sure that was what lead to that tantalizing, talented, small stature midfielder named Alfa not making the team.

I followed every match thoroughly in this competition and like I have always said after each match, our greatest problem was in the midfield because the coach used sentiments in selecting a mediocre combo almost all the time.In the first match, Ifeanyin didn't string a single pass and was too slow on d ball.Bulbwa played rubbish too and when these ones aren't good, how are the likes of Yahaya and co expected to play well when they cannot have good passes laid on to them? Despite that fact,we got a bite of what players like Yahaya can do. Despite the wins against Korea and Hungary, I was never convinced as our midfielders still lack the bite and threat when they attack but this silly coach stuck to his sentiments.

Against Germany, we needed to play our best legs ( Yahaya, Ihenacho, Nwakali, Idowu) on that midfield such that YH and IH could join the attack while Nwakali and Idowu do the dirty job...we could even add an extra midfielder to make 5 (afterall, we played a lone striker for the greater part of the game) but he still played Bulbwa ,ifeanyin etc...sunday Godwin even tried and the ball was snatched from one of them(I think sokari) while he was being clueless on the ball and that lead to the goal. Precious Dede would have done better than our keeper if she was in goal, a keeper that couldn't read a straight shot with a bit of distance. While the likes of the US goalie, Senegalese goalie etc were blessings, ours was a curse to us. Ofcourse, he saved some balls (that's why the post isn't empty).

Before this match, we needed a midfield with pace, ball holding skills, passing skills and one or two midfielders that can take out a player before passing to a free one but what did we get? Rubbish!Abeg, shey na by force to find club for Ifeanyin, Bulbwa and co? When you aren't good enough, nothing can force it. Moreover, a scout does not need to watch a player severally before knowing maybe or not to recommend him. When you see a pure talent, you would know even if he gets 10 minutes of playing time. Now that Manu has used the normal "bad belle" syndrome on the players with clubs, make I dey look which club go wan sign ifeanyin ifeanyin and co with these epileptic performances.

Talent and class is one thing you cannot buy, even 3 weeks of training can't buy that. There is no how, IH and YH would play 3 straight matches without dazzling even the Simon guy; his first move when he was brought in against Hungary showed what he could do if given the chance.

In the match proper, how can we be lofting the ball against an opposition that his taller than us? How can we continue leaving our main striker being man marked by 3 opposition defenders? Is he a magician? And he stayed with them too ( that's due to the tactless coach's instructions)rather than walk to the midfield and build something from there since his hands were tied. After the first half, I was happy cos I thought the coach would change tactics and tell the boys to stop lofting the ball since it wasn't working, I also thought that the sentimental eediot would make 3 direct subs to bring in the big boys. Second half started and the boys continued the same pattern, I was shocked. We needed a goal, this useless coach removed our best midfielder for the day who was still stringing some few things together and brought in a striker( without anyone to give him ball). He removed an attacking MF and brought in a defending MF ( That's the most calamitous sub decision I have seen in recent times). Our 3rd sub was unused....even if it is to bring in a fresh leg to replace a tired one, the coach refused to use it......He must really be a stubborn man. He even went away from the bench, didn't communicate with his assistants.

What killed us? The coach did. He would rather play less tactically gifted and talented players with an instruction to loft the ball ( a style that has never worked for us)because they lack the skills to hold it rather than play his best legs who can dismantle any midfield and play our regular ticki tacka/ counter attack move. Why? Sentiments, bad belle against established players, resentment, stubborness and the "I have arrived mentality". Sometimes, when I see Garba, I just shake my head...the same coach that was initially like a broom stick, now all the gallops on his pako face has filled up and he has added some weight with some few strands of cash and he has become so pompous. Like I told my friends before the match that if Manu does a mediocre midfield combo again, Nigeria would be eliminated, didn't feel too bad cos it was like a dejavu.

I am pained not because we lost but because we lost woefully...so so woeful, we didn't even give their goalie a single shot to try him in 90minutes. Now, these boys are gonna scatter and this may be the end of the team.

PS: Let me know when foreign clubs come for the likes of Bulbwa and Ifeanyin ifeanyin. Nonsense!
SportsRe: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by naturalwaves: 7:33pm On Jun 10, 2015
With the report I am hearing about this German side, there is no how we won't need an Nwakali in that midfield. It isn't a bad idea to use 5 midfielders too (2 attacking...3DMF) with the third DMF being very close to the back 4. Our defence is not good enough at all(forget the korean and hungary matches). Moreover, we need a pacy midfield and the likes of Bulbwa and Ifeanyin don't offer that at all. If Yahaya and Nacho do not start, they should definately come off the bench early enough.

IFEANYI MATTHEW CLEARED TO RESUME FLYING EAGLES TRAINING

https://africanfootball.com//bp_images/2015/06/Samm_27_August_3_580x473.jpg

Midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew will return to training with the Flying Eagles on Tuesday after he suffered a bad cut in his foot against Brazil and missed his team’s last two games.

“I am happy that the doctor has said I could now return to training,” a happy Matthew told AfricanFootball.com

The El Kanemi Warriors star missed the wins over North Korea and Hungary on account of the injury.

However, it is left to be seen who will now replace in the Flying Eagles starting XI particularly as the team are winning again.

He was the provider-in-chief for Taiwo Awoniyi at the African Youth Championship in Senegal and also weighed in with his own goals.

He is essentially an attacking and creative midfielder, while the team now need hard working ball winners in the middle of the park.

Nacho can take his messi role and leave awo(neymar) and isaac(sua) if he doesnt getto net.
We are too attack minded to dwell on a lone striker. That way a rakitic(who sef? Nwakali or is it Godwin?) can show surprise movements in the box and mind you the Germans wouldnt be able to contain it.

We would test the strength of their defence for the 1st time. While they would test the strength of our midfield after Brazil did so.

Germany-

during match-get serious

FE-

during match-mean business.
well, nice analogy you've got there just that Nacho might not be mature enough to stick to that Messi role. Yesterday,Luis Enrique's tactics was spot on,he knew all eyes would be on Messi and gave him a bit of withdrawn role.

The issue i have i sthe blending formula he is goina use based on how he wants to face Germany. Awoniyi, Success and Simon should start for me. Let Ifeanyi and Bulbwa rest. Nwakali should start as well. Then Savior can come to save if there is any need for that.

But i fear one thing...... Our goalkeeper. The germans must have seen his comfy from that Brazil clip and may want to exploit that well.

Between Haruna's set and Nacho's set, Nacho's have a better midfield. Defence i cant compare, but Nacho's set responds faster than Haruna's
Yeah, Nwakali and Idowu should start so that they can hold that midfield very well defensively. Yahaya and Nacho should play too. It won't be a bad idea to have an extra player in that midfield aside these 4 and use a lone striker , Nacho can play as supporting striker right behind Awoniyi or success so he can get into scoring positions.

Seems like you have forgotten Nwakali on the bench. I Would take Nwakali over Ifeanyi any day any time but like the father he is, Manu is trying to market some of the players so they can get a good/better placement.

The FE were totally in control. Now that Awoniyi has scored, there would be less pressure on him. The Hungarians didn't come for a win though as they were too casual. I guess they dread the Germans or maybe they do not want an Euro vs Euro clash more or less like a continental tactic. Our main test would be against the Germans.
