When I see all these man-know-man comments about Nigeria, my spirit is weakened. Sometimes I even wish the world would end immediately so that all these evil Nigerian men would go and suffer for the pains they made us pass thru in Nigeria. |
That name sounds more like Hausa/Fulani movie industry ![]() |
Bikonu, more pics and less irrelevant arguments. From the way most of you write, you don't live in Imo State. Anyways, Immediately Okorocha was sworn in 2011, he announced he would relocate IMSU to its permanent site. That statement attracted so much criticisms and abuses from Owerri people, so as a result, he gave in and changed that decision. Btw, I need more pics...the ones I snapped I've already seen them here. Thanks |

Please I need updated pix of the 3 new universities Rochas embarked on in Imo State so as to know if they have been abandoned or still work in progress. Also, you guys should stop all these irrelevant arguments and comparison between Igbo and Ikwerre, and imo and Anambra. Stick to the subject, Imo State. Thanks |
I won't dare name my kids days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and not even Sunday. I hate those names with pssion. Jeeeeezzzzzz |
I think the house of reps has more functions than the senate. In addition to doing vritually everything the senate does, they also checkmate the activities of the senate while the senate directly checmates the power of the executive |
Harsh economic conditions have made many husband materials irresponsible and horrible men. Which man ever thinks of getting married when he can't get a decent job with which to take of his wife and unborn kids? If men had decent jobs, women would need to be going to vigils to pray for husbands. Our politicians have ruined our country. |
This is nice, but I think Nigeria has come to the level where the world recognises our version of English language because America, British, N/Zealand, Australia, S/Africa, etc have theirs and are all recognised(there's nothing like standard English). So, I don't see the reason why Nigeria's case should be different. Don't forget, fortunately or unfortunately, many Nigerian parents prefer to train their kids in English Language which makes us good at English Language, at least, better than speakers most Anglophone countries on the continent. Can't wait to start seeing NGE (Nigerian English) in dictionaries. |
Ndi Imo, pls less talk and more pics. The thread is about pics not a discussion class. Lol. Bikonu, let's upload more pics of Imo State. Does anyone in the house have currrent pics of any of the universities: Jesuit, Imo-European and/or Imo Maritime Universities? Udo Diri Unu. Imo ga-adiriri nma whether the evil men in PDP like it or not #Peace |
I advise you guys to get off your mobile devices, and get real...go have a ride on that train. I had lunch in the kitchen of that train on my way to PH from Enugu. The things I hold against this admininstration is waste of resources and lack of zeal to stop corruption. Aside those two, GEJ has transformed Nigeria more than any other leader in the history of Nigeria. It's actually funny how many use data released by INEC to judge that Igbos are minority. There is no town outside Igboland that you won't find Igbos in their thousands if not millions, always in their major markets doing what they know what to do best - business. So stop fooling yourselves thinking that Igbos are few because of INEC data for S/East.

I'll choose an efficient staff. The 2 mean almost the same thing but a slight difference which lies in resource and time mgt. An effective staff gets something done using all available resources and time BUT an efficient staff gets work done using minimal resources and time no matter how much of those he/she has. ![]() |
The train has 2 classes: Ordinary class and first class. At Enugu Station, the best station in the route, on a first class train, they charge #1,050 and ordinary class is #650 to PH. Buses charge #1,900 from Enugu to PH. Also, the buses take approx. 4hrs to get to PH form Enugu but trains take approx. 6hrs because of many stops at stations in the route: Nome, Afikpo, Umuahia, Aba, etc. Travelling on trains is fun and convenient but it's not advisable when you have something urgent to attend to. I travelled from Enugu to PH on that train. You guys should go check it out. |
Hmm |
I read thru comments in this platform, and wonder if there's an admin that weighs comments before they are posted but it seems there isn't. You guys should be civil, mature and responsible - stop the name calling, insults and all the talks about Ikwerre. Let's concentrate on Imo State and discuss events (both good and bad) happening in our state. Imo anyi ga adiriririri nma. Unu awuchu la anwuchu! |
If former governors of Imo State had done most of the things Rochas is doing now, he(Rochas) would have been doing other things - they just wasted our resources for 12 years. We still need Rochas to complete the ongoing projects he has in Imo. He's promised us factories if given a 2nd term, Imo State has to continue with Rochas. Imo PDP is horrible because they have very greedy men who are only interested in sharing the little allocation of the state that's why Owelle is facing serious opposition. Imo must be better and we must achieve that by making sure we permanently keep away PDP from Douglas House. After Owelle, we'll try Capt Iheanacho in 2019, but my fear is that he may decamp to PDP, thus joining the crop of men that have caged Imo State for over 10 years. God bless Imo State. |
Yet people are shouting that Gov Sullivan is working because "he's rehablitating already existing roads." Smh |
Pls there's no such word as "broadcasted." When English wor jorlons:ds end with "cast," the past tense is always left untouched. Eg, 1.5,000 votes were cast NOT casted. 2.The debate was broadcast live on AIT not broadcasted. You also have a case like, "I have fixed the burst pipe" NOT bursted pipe. I fidget when I see such things. Thank me later |
His wife has a tattoo on her arm...interesting. God knows I'll never marry a girl with tattoo...what will she teach my kids? Smh |
Okorocha is fighting a very powerful PDP opposition at home, so he has to keep doing more and talking more. If he doesn't talk, those powerful PDP men, both in Abuja and Owerri, who share Imo monthly allocation before now, will just pocket him, and convince people to vote Okorocha out. Long live Owelle |
Good roads, electricity, water, etc are important so is stomach infrastructure...Mr Fayose understands that that's why he's doing it for his people...am sure d old women in villages and policemen will be so happy for his kind gesture. Bravo, Mr Govnor, but flying your collar doesn't look nice! |
