Maybe it's the way they serve their food. I believe those buying takeaway would enjoy it more cos they can always make extra garri and eat with the remaining soup.

Not bad given the economy.
But that soup is too watery for egusi.
The ponmo is hideous. Did you enjoy it?
It wasn't so watery. Maybe it's the stew they added that made it look watery. You know stew is naturally watery.

The place was well packaged, Ac, flat screen TVs, female waiters wearing polos carrying the name of the restaurant ready to attend to you... I think that's what made increased the price of their food.

Lol I don't know why people keep pointing out the pomo 😂🤣

I believe it's just how they cut it. The food was generally ok..You know I don't know how to criticize food like Sukkot. Whatever tastes good in my mouth is ok by me regardless of how it tastes in another person's mouth.
PoliticsRe: Some Places With Stable Electricity In Nigeria - AfricaFactsZone by Nazgul: 6:52pm On Feb 28, 2024
So with all the loud noise Lagos makes, with all their multinational companies, huge IGR and hundreds of thousands of successful businesses littered across the state, no area here can boast of stable electricity. Too bad.
FoodSee The Food I Bought For ₦2,800 by Nazgul(op): 6:31pm On Feb 28, 2024
So I was hungry and decided to branch at restaurant to eat. I asked them for a plate, they told me ₦2,800. I told them to bring.

The food was impressive in size and quality. I ate to my satisfaction. But the price seemed a little on the high side.

CareerRe: N200k/month Earning Is No Longer The Way Out by Nazgul: 5:45pm On Feb 28, 2024
What exactly do you spend you money on that you'll blow 200k in a week?

If you're not sending up to 50k monthly on transportation, I don't see any reason why you should exhaust the money in a week.

Unless you've adopted a lifestyle you certainly cannot afford. Anything aside that, it's literally impossible to spend such money in a week.
FamilyRe: I Have Been Admitted To The Psychiatric Hospital Because Of First Bank by Nazgul: 5:45pm On Feb 28, 2024
Thugnificent:
Good day Nairalanders,

On the 16th of this month, I created this thread about First Bank criminality of stealing 18k from my account

https://www.nairaland.com/8002695/please-how-recover-money-first

Currently, i have been admitted to the psychiatric hospital because of this bank and the emotional stress they put me thru.

I was acting irrationally and abnormally which my family noticed and had to rush me to the hospital.

Let it be known that if anything happens to me, First Bank MUST be held responsible.

Thanks and God bless
Eyah sorry.

If your Cash inflow isn't much, I'll recommend you make use of opay or palmpay.

These MFBanks don't debit you unnecessarily like your regular commerical banks do. And you'd get lots of cash back bonuses for airtime purchase and other bills you pay through the app.

Commerical banks are basically for salary earners and business people who make huge daily transactions.

As for recovering back your money, I'm sorry to say this but it's gone. If the bank gives you a good reason why you were debited it means they have no intention of refunding you bank the money. So just count your loses and move on.
FamilyRe: How Are You Coping Dear Low Salary Earners Like Myself by Nazgul: 7:53am On Feb 28, 2024
Omawumi17:
Dear low income earners like me, how are you faring. As a secondary school teacher, it has not been easy, sometimes I feel like running away, but where to..
On the 8th of this month, I received My first salary of the year which is less than the minimum wage. As usual, I did my monthly grocery shopping but right now, everything is finished
Last week, I sold some items from my side hustle ✌️ worth 13k, I used it to buy more food stuffs and now I am practically empty again
I just borrowed 10k from my fidelity payday loan to pay back by this time next month. I am just wondering how people that earn small like myself are coping?
Things are really getting out of hand walahi
Earning less than minimum wage in this economy is punishment. Since you're a female, I'll encourage you to start selling cooked food like rice, beans, spaghetti, fried plantain...etc. I can assure you that you'll be making double your salary in a week.

Don't worry they don't go for buses. They usually go for cars.

If you are in staff bus no need to complain. Just sleep until you reach your destination. AC, wide chair, you are already fine.
Exactly. If you look at that Carter bridge or 3rd mainland bridge in early in the morning, you'll see broken glass on the road. Those are evidences of robbery. They would break the side window and rob the driver.

Their targeted victims are usually women, or men who are alone in the car. If you're above 2 in the car, they won't rob you.
BusinessRe: CBN Lists The Number Of BDCs In States In Nigeria (Full List) by Nazgul:
LandMann:
Do you mean banks have forcefully converted dorm account holdings to naira or do you mean inflow like western union and the rest?
Dom account holders weren't affected. The only problem is that you cannot withdraw dollar from the account. Whatever amount you want to withdraw would be given to you in naira.

As for WU, if you receive an inflow from Western Union, your money would be paid directly to your account in naira. The bank wouldn't give you the expected amount in dollar.

sirgalahad26:
What exactly do you need the dollar for when the bank has given you the naira equivalent?
Banks use the official market to give customers naira equivalent. But BDCs use back (parallel) market.

And as you know, black market figures are always higher than that of the official market that's why people prefer BDCs rate to bank rate.
BusinessRe: CBN Lists The Number Of BDCs In States In Nigeria (Full List) by Nazgul: 6:43pm On Feb 27, 2024
Does this mean that banks would start giving out dollar to customers, cos I noticed that they stopped and started giving out the naira equivalent of whatever amount of dollars you want to withdraw.

If the BDCs have been given the green light by CBN to resume operations, hope we'll be able to get dollar from the bank.

Edo people should vote wisely in this election. APC has wrecked this country. It would be a shame if they win.

A bag of pure water that used to be #100 in my area in 2015, is now sold for #400.
How much is it in your area?
It used to be #120 as at 2020. Then a set was #1,100.

Today it's #400 and climbing. A set is 4k.
PoliticsRe: US Government Releases Fresh Details On Wigwe’s Helicopter Crash by Nazgul:
Helicopter doors aren't as complicated as that of an aeroplane which you almost cannot open during flight.

Helicopter doors can easily be opened. Infact some choppers fly with both doors open. What stopped them from opening the doors and jumping down as it approached the ground.

That's what I'd have done if I was on that flight. Better to have some slight injuries and cuts than to be dead.

Rip to them.

If he doesn't sit down and calculate, it would vanish.

There was a time a million naira was a life changing money. Now even small stores/shops buys goods of one million naira.
In 2011 during Jonathan's administration, that 3m would get him a standard super market filled with goods to the brim. All he needs to do is just to come and sit down there everyday while his staffs attend to customers. At the end of the day, he'll pack his money and go home.

Today, that money can't even rent him a supermarket space in big cities like Lagos, Abuja and PH.

Hello Good morning, I appreciate you getting back to me.
You're welcome

InteliJ:
My question is, what platform in ms365 are you working in?
Microsoft Exchange
Active directory
Identity
Security and Compliance
Then Teams which I believe you should know.

InteliJ:
I'm familiar with SharePoint, one drive, power app, power automate and power bi. This is under the powerapp platform of Microsoft too.
True, but to work as a Microsoft 365 freelancer on upwork, you need to learn the ones I mentioned. I barely use one drive aside using it to backup my jobs on Jupiter notebook. The rest, I don't really use them.

InteliJ:
Another thing is, how did you structure your upwork profile? Did you position as a ms solution expert or IT support expert and what kind of gigs did you apply to.
IT Support and MS 365 support.

As for the application, the guy that trained me used a special link which he refused to share with me to apply directly to MS 365. There are people who have the direct link. Such that if you apply by 11am today, before 2pm, someone would reach out to you.

And note, it's a contract job which they'll renew every 6 months depending on how well your performance is.

InteliJ:
I apologize If you find my questions "intrusive". Thank you!
I don't. Your apology wasn't necessary.
