GloriousGbola:You don even add am sef. ![]() |
Proserpina:Anything wrong with that? 🙄 |
folake4u:De play. |
Proserpina:Maybe it's the way they serve their food. I believe those buying takeaway would enjoy it more cos they can always make extra garri and eat with the remaining soup. |
folake4u:You sef de owe me birthday gift. Shi shi I no see from your hand on my birthday. You even fight me join. 🤕 |
GloriousGbola:Stop calling everybody na.
|
pocohantas:It wasn't so watery. Maybe it's the stew they added that made it look watery. You know stew is naturally watery. The place was well packaged, Ac, flat screen TVs, female waiters wearing polos carrying the name of the restaurant ready to attend to you... I think that's what made increased the price of their food. Lol I don't know why people keep pointing out the pomo 😂🤣 I believe it's just how they cut it. The food was generally ok..You know I don't know how to criticize food like Sukkot. Whatever tastes good in my mouth is ok by me regardless of how it tastes in another person's mouth. |
So with all the loud noise Lagos makes, with all their multinational companies, huge IGR and hundreds of thousands of successful businesses littered across the state, no area here can boast of stable electricity. Too bad. |
So I was hungry and decided to branch at restaurant to eat. I asked them for a plate, they told me ₦2,800. I told them to bring. The food was impressive in size and quality. I ate to my satisfaction. But the price seemed a little on the high side.

What exactly do you spend you money on that you'll blow 200k in a week? If you're not sending up to 50k monthly on transportation, I don't see any reason why you should exhaust the money in a week. Unless you've adopted a lifestyle you certainly cannot afford. Anything aside that, it's literally impossible to spend such money in a week. |
Thugnificent:Eyah sorry. If your Cash inflow isn't much, I'll recommend you make use of opay or palmpay. These MFBanks don't debit you unnecessarily like your regular commerical banks do. And you'd get lots of cash back bonuses for airtime purchase and other bills you pay through the app. Commerical banks are basically for salary earners and business people who make huge daily transactions. As for recovering back your money, I'm sorry to say this but it's gone. If the bank gives you a good reason why you were debited it means they have no intention of refunding you bank the money. So just count your loses and move on. |
Omawumi17:Earning less than minimum wage in this economy is punishment. Since you're a female, I'll encourage you to start selling cooked food like rice, beans, spaghetti, fried plantain...etc. I can assure you that you'll be making double your salary in a week. |
GloriousGbola:Exactly. If you look at that Carter bridge or 3rd mainland bridge in early in the morning, you'll see broken glass on the road. Those are evidences of robbery. They would break the side window and rob the driver. Their targeted victims are usually women, or men who are alone in the car. If you're above 2 in the car, they won't rob you. |
LandMann:Dom account holders weren't affected. The only problem is that you cannot withdraw dollar from the account. Whatever amount you want to withdraw would be given to you in naira. As for WU, if you receive an inflow from Western Union, your money would be paid directly to your account in naira. The bank wouldn't give you the expected amount in dollar. |
sirgalahad26:Banks use the official market to give customers naira equivalent. But BDCs use back (parallel) market. And as you know, black market figures are always higher than that of the official market that's why people prefer BDCs rate to bank rate. |
Does this mean that banks would start giving out dollar to customers, cos I noticed that they stopped and started giving out the naira equivalent of whatever amount of dollars you want to withdraw. If the BDCs have been given the green light by CBN to resume operations, hope we'll be able to get dollar from the bank. |
Edo people should vote wisely in this election. APC has wrecked this country. It would be a shame if they win. |
DaddyRochie1642:Donkey meat, otherwise know as anu jakie. It's commonly sold in Ebonyi State and some parts of Enugu state. If you've never lived in those places, you'll never know it. |
pocohantas:If units na wetin you de call problem na him be say I no get problem be that. Our epileptic light went off since Thursday last week. Maybe it spoilt or something, I don't even know. It just came back today. NEPA is really showing us shege. 🤕 pocohantas:What of units, you've admitted that you load heavily. Surely you won't be happy whenever you're engaging in the heavy loading, but you certainly cannot do without it. |
What's that one thing you hate to purchase, yet you have literal need for it everyday. Mine is fuel. |
minasu190:It used to be #120 as at 2020. Then a set was #1,100. Today it's #400 and climbing. A set is 4k. |
Helicopter doors aren't as complicated as that of an aeroplane which you almost cannot open during flight. Helicopter doors can easily be opened. Infact some choppers fly with both doors open. What stopped them from opening the doors and jumping down as it approached the ground. That's what I'd have done if I was on that flight. Better to have some slight injuries and cuts than to be dead. Rip to them. |
faceland:In 2011 during Jonathan's administration, that 3m would get him a standard super market filled with goods to the brim. All he needs to do is just to come and sit down there everyday while his staffs attend to customers. At the end of the day, he'll pack his money and go home. Today, that money can't even rent him a supermarket space in big cities like Lagos, Abuja and PH. |
dauddy97:Download Jupiter notebook and use it to test your skills. |
workchopNG:Lol...do they still teach Fortran77 to students in this modern technology age? Nigerian universities are indeed archaic. |
3m in this crumbling naira economy is rubbish. That money would finish sooner than he expected and the girl would immediately remind him how ugly he is. |
InteliJ:You're welcome InteliJ:Microsoft Exchange Active directory Identity Security and Compliance Then Teams which I believe you should know. InteliJ:True, but to work as a Microsoft 365 freelancer on upwork, you need to learn the ones I mentioned. I barely use one drive aside using it to backup my jobs on Jupiter notebook. The rest, I don't really use them. InteliJ:IT Support and MS 365 support. As for the application, the guy that trained me used a special link which he refused to share with me to apply directly to MS 365. There are people who have the direct link. Such that if you apply by 11am today, before 2pm, someone would reach out to you. And note, it's a contract job which they'll renew every 6 months depending on how well your performance is. InteliJ:I don't. Your apology wasn't necessary. |
tollyboy5:Ok |
