Good evening forum. I will go straight to the point. I and my man started dating since like October last year, I am a student, and my man is a government worker, who earns well and he even the boss at his place of work.

But the issue I gave is, yes this man wants to marry me, but he doesn't give me good money, even despite him knowing some of my situation. He only me 1k or at times, 500, once in a very while. Sincerely I love this man,and he does too. But the not giving me money is the part that is really hurting me.

There's something you girls have to understand when asking men for money...the fact is not all of them actually have that money.

You said he's a government worker. The question here is how much do government workers earn? Most don't even earn up to 100k on net (boss or not). Especially state government workers.

And if that's his case, it means he doesn't have money. A salary of less than 100k in Nigeria today is just peanuts. And as a man, he'll definitely have parents, siblings and other personal expenses he'll be taking care of.

For now, you're still his girlfriend and not his wife, if he keeps sending money to you and you abscond tomorrow with a much wealthier guy, what next?

I'm of the opinion that big markets should have standby fire service for incidents like this. They would help manage the situation pending when the main fire service team arrives.

It's embarrassing watching people pour buckets of water mixed with detergent on raging fires. And most times the fire team might not get there on time due to traffic and other factors, this means that the market would become ashes and properties worth billions would be lost...

It depends...if what you're earning isn't much, you can let her know so that whenever you tell her that there's no money, she won't argue with you since she already knows how much you earn.

But if you're a high earner, I don't think it would be wise to tell her. Imagine telling your wife you earn over a million naira per month from your job and other businesses, and she requests for 400k and you're telling her you don't have money, there won't be peace in that house.

100k per month to a family man is like 10k in today's Nigeria. Work harder.

I noticed this today, when I tried crediting a first bank account. After adding the account number on my Bank app, rather than bring up the recipients name for confirmation, it kept telling me account invalid. I tried it over 5 times before giving up.

The bank is clearly having technical issues.
