Congratulations Sir on your victory. Abia needed to be rescued.

But please, work, abia is arguably the worst state in the SE in terms of infrastructure. Even Ebonyi has overtaken them. So work, abia can become the most admired state in Nigeria if you work hard.

There's a reason why Nigeria is referred to as a 3rd world country. This is one of those reasons.
FamilyRe: Alternatives To Spanking Children And Dealing With Rebellious Tweens And Teens, by Nazgul: 7:41pm On Mar 21, 2023
For children below 10...they're mostly influenced by their peers, so you have to mind the kind of school you enrol them into, study their behavior after few weeks in the school, always check their pockets and bags whenever they come back from school and question then thoroughly whenever you find any odd item you know you didn't buy for them.

Teach them sex education as well, especially your daughters. Make sure they're able to identify their public and private parts and know that no one should touch their private parts. If they fall into the hands of perverts, it certainly would affect their attitude.

For teenagers...12 and above. At this stage, most especially when they start getting to 15, 16, 17 and 18...your ability to control them effectively would depend on how well you live by the rules you set for them. You can't tell them one thing and do another, this is why relationships experts are always of the opinion that children from broken homes tend to become bad spouses that children from good homes.
FamilyRe: I Love To Marry Her But worrying about the high bride price by Nazgul: 5:38pm On Mar 21, 2023
OmoGomesIlorin:
I meet this lady in December 2019 and by 2020 we had the opportunity to connect with each other on a friendship level. From my interactions with her and observations, she is cool-headed and calm, intelligent and ambitious. Her skills match someone I dream of marrying. She is from Anambra, state - Umuoji

However, as a low-budget guy, I am weighing my options due to stereotype of demanding for a gargantuan bride price.

I want to know if what people are saying online is true or exaggerated

Editted
A lot of Keke and okada riders in the SE are legally married, they paid what they could afford and took their wife home. So if they can do it, you definitely can.

If you truly want to marry her, discuss your plans with her...try to find out what marriage list in her side looks like. That should give you a rough estimate of the total cost of marrying her.

This now brings us to step 2 which is for you to become friends with her parents and siblings, call them often and say hello to them, if you can afford some edibles, buy for them...but be sure that you let them know that you're not in anyway related to dangote.

As your relationship with her parents grows, meet her dad one on one and tell him your plans for his daughter, and the kind of budget you have, that you're a young man just starting life, but working towards rapid growth with his daughter...he'll most likely tell you not to worry because you've already established a working relationship with him.

After consultations, knocking and other traditional bruhaha have been done, you can fix your date for the traditional marriage with peace of mind. Cos your father in-law would be the one to talk to his Kingsmen so that they won't suffocate you with over billing.

After the traditional marriage, you can meet your pastor and organize a low-key white wedding. Just make it within your budget and you'll be fine.
FamilyRe: What Do You Think About This Picture? by Nazgul: 1:54pm On Mar 21, 2023
Low self-esteem is what a lot of women are secretly battling with. That overwhelming attention is a continuous reminder that they haven't fallen into the ditch of oblivion. This is what most of them need to keep going and they'll do anything to get it.

If not why would a married woman showcase herself publicly in such manner. Who is she trying to impress aside her unnecessary quest for attention. What kind of moral advice would she give her kids (most especially her daughters) when they come of age?

Tell him to pick whatever is left of himself and come back to Nigeria. Once he's back home, he can go back to the drawing board and make plans for a much better country.

There's no need for him to remain there since it's not favouring him anymore.

Not all Japa are worth it, the sad reality is that Nigeria is far better than most of these eastern European countries.
Christianity EtcRe: Is God A Trinity? by Nazgul:
In Genesis 1:1-4

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

From here we can see the Trinity at work.

The first was God who created the heavens and earth....The Father

The next is the spirit of God moving over the waters....The Holy Spirit.

And finally the son who the Bible describes as the word of God....Jesus.

Another definition of Trinity is

Matthew 3:16-17

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

From here we see Jesus...The son being baptized.

Then the spirit of God descending like a dove landing on Jesus... The Holy Spirit.

And a voice from heaven speaking...God the Father.

This is how I was thought the Trinity in Sunday school...we were told that before anything can be regarded as a doctrine it must be proven in the old and new testament, and Jesus must confirm it. We've seen where Jesus told his disciples that if you have seen the father you have seen me. And he also promised them the comforter which is the Holy Spirit.

This is why I believe it's safe to say that God is Trinity.

You're just proud and lack professionalism, that's the only explanation to this.

I'll advice that you harken to his advice and address him formally...it's for your own good cos when you're done learning the skill, you're most likely going to have clients way younger than yourself and if you don't learn to differentiate between formal and informal approach and address them informally probably because of their age, they'll withdraw from you and your growing business would crumble. A word they say is enough for the wise.

FamilyRe: My Husband Is So Annoying. I'm Depress. by Nazgul:
This is why I'm always of the opinion that you know your spouse personally before agreeing to marry him/her. Don't be blinded by love cos marriage is a lifetime agreement. And if you choose wrongly, you'd have to live with with your choice for the rest of your life.

To your case...the best advice I'll give you for the sake of your mental health is to take a break from that marriage. Move out of that house and put yourself together. That man is a gambler and as long as you remain in that house with him, you wouldn't achieve anything for yourself cos his lifestyle would keep pulling you backwards. He would borrow and even steal from you to gamble.

Some people might advice you to endure and keep praying for him, the fact here is that you don't endure anything or anyone whose attitude affects your mental health cos you can easily slide into depression or worse. You'll loose your job, become dead broke, you won't even have money to buy clothes and the man you're enduring all these for might just go out there and impregnate one girl, thereby compounding your woes.

Leave temporarily and build yourself, you said you want to look for another job, that's great start the job hunt, get the job and build yourself. When he's ready to change and become responsible, he'll come for you.
FamilyRe: How Do You Cope With Compound Shared Electricity Meter by Nazgul: 2:17pm On Mar 17, 2023
Nigerians are naturally cunning in nature. If you have enough money, you can meet your landlord directly to give you permission to buy your own meter, and anytime you're leaving his house, he'll sell it to the next tenant that would come and use the money to reimburse you. If the landlord agrees, you buy it, if you're leaving and he's playing smart, just jejely disconnect it and sell it back for IE or EKEDC, they'll repackage it back and resell.

A friend of mine had a similar issue and that's what he did.

RomanceRe: Is It Normal To Overlook The Past Of A Girl by Nazgul: 7:25pm On Mar 13, 2023
Postinor:
Just saw a post on fb and the guy was like the past of my wife is of no relevance,so I wanted to throw the topic open if the past of a girl is of any importance
It's not normal cos it's most likely going to affect you....take a look at the following scenarios.

1. A girl played the whóre in her prime and lost her womb through countless abortions, but since you didn't care to investigate her past life you married her. 15 years down the line, she's still childless.

2. A girl who had countless wild sex during her prime, some of which are on the internet. Since you didn't care about her past, you married her, and boom you're greeted with a video of your wife swallowing dícks and semen, and then another video and another...

3. Spiritual implications. Whether you believe it or not, the spiritual realm exists, a girl who has had sex with occult sugar daddies, Yahoo boys, guys with one spiritual problem or the other...etc, would be emitting a negative spiritual energy. You would continue to suffer various kinds of financial and career losses once she comes into your life.

4. She might be battling with one medical problem or the other. Girls who keep having unprotected sex with countless guys are at high risk of contacting infections. As they grow older they start battling with the side effects of prolonged infection. Such side effects includes irregular or no mensuration, blocked fallopian tube, pain during sex, constant vaginal discharge...etc. If you marry such girl without proper investigations, you'll automatically inherit all her medical problems.

As a sensible guy, the past life of any girl you choose to marry matters a lot, if you ignore it, you'll definitely pay the price in the future.

Christianity EtcRe: Which Bible Character Would You Have Being In Jesus' Days ? by Nazgul: 11:42am On Mar 12, 2023
Banilla:

The truth is that Judas loved Jesus, how could he not? Even if he didn't, there was affection, respect. And he hurt him, so he killed himself. There's honestly no worse pain. I can't even stand disappointing my mother.

You couldn't betray someone you loved, not for all the gold in the world. You would be tempted, maybe you'll yield if you're really bad but afterwards your guilt would haunt you. Especially if you know the person didn't deserve it, worse if they trusted you.

That's Judas redeeming quality. He had a conscience and I'm sure you do too.
Judas never believed that Jesus could be killed by ordinary men. He witnessed all the miracles Jesus did, he saw him bring back dead people back to life, he saw him calm a storm, feed 5 thousand people, cure mad people...so he felt it was impossible for him to die.

Judas was a thief, he loved money and when he became aware that the authorities wanted his master, he decided to make a fortune from it. His intention was to scam the high priest and the scribes, by collecting their money, then Jesus would do whatever he needs to do to save himself.

Unfortunately, Jesus willingly submitted himself to be executed. This was why he became extremely sober reality dawned on him that Jesus was actually going to die.

When he couldn't bear it anymore, he hung himself.

I even think some of this big companies ought to be paying their staff well enough to afford a certain standard of living.

Why OAP go dey trek?

Na so ABC TRANSPORT PLC been dey pay a whole manager 60k....People go think say them dey flex, not knowing that they're broke if they don't do small runs
Sadly this is the reality on ground.

Even hotels, fueling stations, large supermarkets, eateries...etc are not left out. One would think that managers working there should be big boys because of the packaging of these companies. Sadly none of them earn above 100k

If you're not working in the oil industry, telecommunications or IT, you're a little better than a slave, cos you'll be literally living from hand to mouth.
