I am popping Champagne and celebrating with folks because Ijaws now know who has been snitching on them . |
989900:No, you demand Jonathan's ouster because you consider him a second-class citizen unqualified to lead you. Stop lying to yourself. You like his oil but you do not like him. |
alj harem:Why so much hate on innocent people? ![]() |
Keep ranting, Yoruba folks, while we keep circulating your plans to decapitate an Ijaw presidency out of ethnic hatred. Every Ijaw man is now aware whom their enemy is. |
Why are Yorubas afraid? They still got Ondo (oil-producing). Why are you guys so greedy? |
President =Ijaw Chief or army staff = non Yoruba, non North. Asari Dokubo = Ijaw Oil location = mostly SS and SE? So who will order the attack against Dokubo? OPC ravaged Nigeria during Obj's regime and he allowed them ride roughshod against other Nigerians Pay back time? |
SW is finished. Ijaws don't like ![]() Soon no more free oil money to run things in Lagos ![]() |
sbeezy8:One example: Bakare Other examples: just browse NL and see what your people wish him. Now Ijaws are better informed courtesy of us. Let's see who blinks first ![]() |
Duh!!! Both Falae and Obj were Yoruba contesting for the presidency of Nigeria, a country with 6 zones and 250 ethnic groups. That had not happened before. Only a fool will think that was a coincidence. It was designed to appease the SW after giving the then govt so much headache via intimidation. Then in 2003, despite Obasanjo's failure in his first term, Yoruba supported him, abandoning their own party AD. Now Ijaws are giving problem so as to keep their brother in power (like the Yorubas did and like the core North has always done) and people (SW) are complaining? Give me a break. sheyguy: |
BlackBaron:1. I do not need Ijaws or even Igbos to look good. I am doing very good myself on my own. 2. Because they want him dead. They want him removed from office and we know how tribalism plays in Nigeria June 12, Abiola, and Obasanjo come to mind readily. Nigerians from every zone voted for MKO, but Yoruba hijacked the victory and used intimidation to get Obasanjo to power. Jonathan has a precedence. |
koruji:Iya re ati baba re. |
OPC and Yoruba in general used intimidation to get Obasanjo to power (although Obj refused to play out the Yoruba agenda) Hausa/Fulani and the North have done this over and over and even now with BH The Ijaws are doing it now (if this news is anything to go by) The Igbos will do it too, given the opportunity. Intimidation using ethnic strategies are rife and acceptable in Nigeria. What are you guys fretting over? What is good for Yoruba and the North is good for fish people too, no? |
Nwanna, kedu nke na eme? Dr Igbo: |
We are circulating the findings that: Ijaw enemy # 1 = core North (these are known enemies and so easy to deal with) Ijaw enemy #2 = Yoruba (these are flip-flopping enemies with ever changing strategies, thus enemies difficult to deal with) In recent times, GEJ supporters (especially from SS) have increased here on NL. This was not by accident; it was due to our efforts to draw their attention to the SW ploy and to circulate the ploy to all nooks and crannies of cyberspace. Right now, it is hot on facebook and in RL. dey laugh oh!!!! |
Ijaws now know their enemy outside: the core North They now also know their enemy closer home: Yoruba. |

See how Yoruba peeps lead Okoro woman into trouble? |
hercules07:Lie!!! Fuel here is 2.9 USD in the cheapest places and up to 4.0 USD in expensive places 141 Naira (cost of fuel after subsidy removal) is less than 1.0 USD. The only correct argument you make is in terms of salaries and even that is a bad comparison to make (USA versus Nigeria). |
hercules07:Okay! You had doubts, she has denied it and the seller has denied it, yet you still insinuate someone is covering up? What do you want, my friend? Based on our previous discussion and this, your doubts appear very fake. I believe you believe she did it. |
hercules07:She has denied it previously. The so-called seller has now denied it. You still doubt it. The onus is on you and people like you to prove it. |
Remii:Exactly what I mean. Sitting at home is perfect. Stay home and romance your wife/husband (and make babies) and do not disturb those going about their businesses. |
gists:As to your question, there are 101 things to do (electricity, education, security, health, etc). I believe refineries should be fixed and new ones built. That takes time and besides, oil money including subsidy money, should be used to fix oil-related problems without disrupting other aspects of societal needs (as listed). I agree that January 1 was a bit untidy. Anywhere between April and June is fine with me. The subsidy itself has been turned into fraud by Otedola, Tinubu and the rest of the oil cabals. It should go. |
Sign of imminent capitulation. |
Ondo NLC, TUC pull out of anti-subsidy strike Written by Yinka Oladoyinbo, Akure Friday, January 13, 2012 The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Ondo State, on Thursday, pulled out of the ongoing mass protest in the state over the removal of fuel subsidy because of security challenges. advertisement AdChoices The council was said to have expressed fear that the protest might be hijacked and lead to break down of law and order. It was, however, gathered that the decision of the council to pull out of the protest was taken after a meeting of the labour leaders with security chiefs in the state. The NLC led by its chairman, Bosede Daramola, had held a meeting with security chiefs in the state, including the state Commissioner of Police, Sani Magaji and new State Director of State Security Service (SSS), who resumed for duty in the state in the wake of the fuel subsidy removal crisis in the state. The meeting, according to source, was called at the instance of the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, who was said to be concerned over the development. The governor was said to have made the labour leaders see reasons why the mass protest should be stopped in the state, urging the security chiefs to maintain peace across the state. It was also learnt that Mimiko was very curious about the way and manner the mass protest was spreading, worrying that opposition to his administration might hijack the protest to cause mayhem in the state After the meeting, the labour leaders were said to have agreed to stop the street protest but to continue with the strike action called by the national body of the council. However, the NLC vowed to continue with the strike action, urging members of the public to remain in-door and observe the stay-at-home directive of organised labour. But, the civil society organisation in the state continued the protest in Akure, on Thursday, marching across the town with leaf branches and placards. The day was also tagged Lawyers' Day as members of the Akure branch of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) joined the protest and marched through major streets of the state capital. |
The Nigerian press is completely useless. |
We did not sell any mansion to Okonjo-Iweala -EFAB Properties Written by Ebenezer Adurokiya Friday, January 13, 2012 Against the back-drop of a growing claim that Minister of Finance, Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had allegedly bought a mansion worth N1.2 billion in Maitama, Abuja, the company which allegedly sold the property to the minister, EFAB properties Ltd, has denied the claim. advertisement AdChoices An online news website, pointblanknews.com, has alleged that the Abuja property company sold a mansion worth N1.2 billion in Maitama, Abuja, to the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr Okonjo-Iweala, in November 2011, insisting that it has "overwhelming evidence to prove that she owns the mansion but if she insists we are wrong, she knows where to seek redress." However, chairman of the property company, Chief (Dr) Fabian Nworah, has, in a press release signed and made available to the Nigerian Tribune, denied the story. "It has been brought to our attention that pointblanknews.com claimed that EFAB Properties Ltd sold a property at No.3, Nwaora Close, off Gana Street, Maitama, to Dr Okonjo-Iweala. It is a fact that we have properties for sale at the above address, but none has been sold as of today (January 11). We want to say categorically that we did not sell any of the houses to Dr Oknjo-Iweala," the statement said, calling on inquisitive Nigerians to visit AGIS, Abuja or Syndicate Plaza, Plot 404, Ahmadu Bello Way, Garki II, Abuja, for confirmation. http://odili.net/news/source/2012/jan/13/614.html |
toba:This is the height of idiocy. |
gists:As with Science, sentiments have no place in Economics (except where subsidy is involved )You can apply sentiments in Law, Literature and History ![]() ''Who will pay for the subsidy? Your children'' ------------Sanusi |
This is what I have been saying: protest against the mundane (fuel subsidy) in stead of protest against the human (loss of lives) Little wonder the lives of many Nigerians (especially those in Lagos) are not worth a penny. Some see corpses and just step over them. I blame Oritsejafor though, for not leading a protest on this on behalf of Christianity And, Shame on Igbo leaders (Governors, Assembly men and religious and community leaders) for not doing the same for their people, who are the main targets of these murderers Shame on other Nigerians (Yoruba, etc) who sit back non-challantly while human beings are murdered, just because their own groups are less, or not, targeted. We here on cyberspace have done our bit talking about it and giving it some currency and circulation on cyberspace (which has a more far-reaching effect globally). |
^^^^^ Based on what I see on that video, Diezani Madueke also advanced solid points Femi Falana was all noise and sentiments, no substance |
Does Ben Bruce live in utopia (from video)? |
BTW, Yakassai is a hardcore northerner. |
