rhymz:Let's say we are learning to play the game, Nigerian style. Good luck and be careful with police bullets during the protests. Jisie ike. |
sheyguy:I don't do rumors. Please prove your claim then we can start the debate. Thanks. |
Mai-suya:There are many supporters on facebook and they hinge their position on the claim that Christians did nothing when Muslims were killed on Idelkabir (sp?) day celebrations in Jos sometime ago. Were those Muslims killed by southerners? Were they killed because they were Muslims? Is the crisis in Jos not between fulani and Berom, and therefore is ethnic rather than religion motivated? Why extend the animosity to others? |

diluminati:Sorry loser, cant help you. |
dayokanu:How much did Wale Tinubu and Femi Otedola, owners of the Yoruba-owned company and the richest of the fuel subsidy conmen, pay the Yorubas to demontrate for them? |
deleted |
rhymz:With you and 1000000s other Igbos over there representing us in the protest, the statement in bold is no longer necessary, no? ![]() |
sheyguy:That is what the news paper said. Do you really believe that? Have you heard from the gov? There is always two sides to every story, remember? |
Freedom of speech Freedom to accent or dissent Nigeria is not Iran. Down with cyber bullies. |
As far as I am concerned, the strike/ protest was a stupid idea to begin with. But I will not begrudge those protesting since they have time on their hands. ![]() Fuel subsidy needed to go because it is not sustainable and has not served its purpose, but instead has enriched few cabals like Oando and co. The more it is delayed, the more the doomsday is postponed. How come no one protested all the killings by Boko Haram? I see!! In Naija a gallon of fuel is worth two human lives. Why are we not calling to question all the past leaders who mismanaged the refineries such that we have now to import fuel? Why the focus on oil anyways? Why not we develop our other abundant natural resources in each state? |
Those protesting have a right to protest. No one can/should ever take that right from them unless they turn the protest into a destructive riot (as happened in the current protest) But others have a right not to protest that those protesting must respect. That is the beauty of democracy: the right to choose And I have been thinking: since not every state participated, in the protest, I guess it is time to break up NLC and TUC into states, after all we are practicing a federal system. Everything must be decentralized. We want state police, so we must also want state unions, state resources and state everything That is the essence of a federal system as practiced by the big brother USA (that we all look up to) Watcha think?? |
rhymz:Thanks for representing Igbo. You and millions other Igbos there are protesting in Lagos for us. So we do not need to protest again here. Ndewo, nwanna. |
sheyguy:You have a right to protest. I can never take that right from you But I have a right not to protest that you must respect, okay? Dont be a dumb ass. |
Wow!!!! So this is how Gbawe and the gang of ACN and Buhari thugs wasted their time? You must return all the bribe money you chop and failed to deliver!!!! Fashola and Tinubu has finished all your money, increased fees 1000% and toll-gated everywhere, yet una no bring down Lagos Una wan come bring down Nigeria? You think Nigeria begins and ends in Lagos, abi? olodo rabata Even when a drop of oil is not produced in that your useless zone (save for Ondo, which is more of an Edo territory ![]() Losers, gbogbo yin. |

Rhinoceros I asked a pertinent question here. Can you answer it? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-815047.0.html |
If you see 100 Igbo armed robbers, you will see 1000 Yoruba armed robbers. This is common knowledge. What do you think all those Yoruba touts do in the Night? |
Have you forgotten what happened to the bodies of the 2005 Belview plane crash in Lisa, Ogun state? They were harvested and used for rituals. Do some googling or I can help you do it. |
The main difference between Igbo and Yoruba kidnappers is that Igbo kidnappers (and some Yoruba kidnappers too) kidnap the rich to extort them Many Yoruba kidnappers kidnap the poor and use them for money making rituals. |
Rhinoceros There are as many kidnappers in Yorubaland as there are in Igboland What does gbomogbomo mean? Do you want examples? I can supply, you know. How many Igbos have been kidnapped in Yorubaland? As for rituals, you are the masters. We only learned from you. Your Obas have to eat human flesh. Don't be dumb. |
Yorubas are well represented in Asia. I can go on and on with examples. |

Following a tip-off that two persons, including a Nigerian, were hiding near Sarangpur area, police raided the place and arrested the duo. They have been booked under section 465, 467, 468 (forgery) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 66 and 65 of the Information Technology Act. Three people, including two Nigerian nationals, were arrested on March 30 and 122 grams of the contraband were seized from their possession. “We had first arrested a businessman who told police that Akanbi used to supply cocaine to him.
