Hahaha I dey laugh ohhhhh!!!!!!!!! O ti bere no ni. ![]() |
alj_harem:Fake news. You have already said many times in the past that Sun is a fake newspaper. So this is fake news too from the Sun. Stop the double-facedness. |
Lagos is 50% Igbo so 50% of the protesters there are Igbos The North is 30% Igbo so 30% of the protesters there are Igbos There shall be no protest in SE land since we are already doing so elsewhere in the SW and N? How many Yorubas and Northerners in the East are protesting? |
I ask again, What is the outcome of the Lekki protest again sef? Has Tinubu/Fashola recinded the things that caused the protest? You leave Fasola alone to enjoy egunje toll gate money and you dey protest against GEJ? Which kin tribalism be that one? ![]() |
Justcash:You are wasting your time with that anumanu? Lagos is 50% Igbo so 50% of the protesters there are Igbos The North is 30% Igbo so 30% of the protesters there are Igbos There shall be no protest in the SE land since we are already doing so elsewhere in the SW and N? Okay!! I see that one important Yoruba man, Kolade, supports the subsidy removal. So can I say this man is a Yoruba betrayer (betraying the Yoruba course for anti subsidy removal?) |
The real protest should come if the subsidy removal is not used for the listed purposes but used instead to subsidize corruption. The SW and the North should give GEJ a chance to perform and succeed. They are the clog in the wheel of progress now. |
What is the outcome of the Lekki protest again sef? ![]() Has Tinubu/Fashola recinded the things that caused the protest? Yoruba protest = failed protest, AS USUAL. Waste of time Removal of subsidy is a perfect thing to do to help jumpstart the economy My only problem is the timing. It should have come around April when folks have settled down to the new year But now that it has come, protesting is a useless venture Yes, it is too early to say that the SE/SS will not protest, but I pray they do not. The police should quell any unnecessary protest: this one is one unnecessary protest that my family will not be involved in. |

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-835119.0.html Wednesday, December 28, 2011 S'East to benefit from planned refineries, says Ben Obi From Chuks Collins, Awka MORE light has been shed on government's plans to establish three new refineries in Kogi, Lagos and Bayelsa States, with assurance that more parts/zones in the country would benefit, including the South East geopolitical zone, soon. advertisement Opt out This was disclosed in Awka yesterday by President Goodluck Jonathan's aide on Inter-Party Relations, Chief Ben Obi. Speaking on the proposed new refineries and the removal of petroleum subsidy, Obi urged Nigerians to see government's programmes on their merit rather than from sectional, zonal or other divisive perspectives. The new refineries, he said "were to be wholly private sector-driven, and the one for Bayelsa was to be sited at Oloibiri, the location where the first oil well was discovered in Nigeria. He said Kogi plays a very central role geographically in the nation's affairs, same as Lagos in terms of commerce and industry too. He therefore called for calm and understanding, assuring that the project which is coming in phases would in the next phase be extended to other zones in the country especially the South East. Obi who condemned the recent spate of bombings in parts of the country, admitted that it was worrisome, but added that there would be a change in terms of security in the coming year. "You can see that most of the suspects behind the recent bombings have been apprehended. Our security agencies are working round-the-clock to tackle the challenge, bring the situation under total control and keep citizens safe. The various arms of government have carried out a progressive training and retraining of all security officers. On the subsidy issue, Obi appealed to Nigerians to give Jonathan a chance, because he has given his word of honour on it. "In the past such packages come without any working document of all issues involved or what and where to channel the proceeds and why, but the present administration has put the whole cards on the table for all to see," he said. |

Three die as violence rocks two Ogun communities By Ademola Oni Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font 0 Another round of bloody violence broke out in Ota, Ogun State, on Tuesday in which no fewer than three people were feared dead while several others were injured. The clash was allegedly over the ownership of some parcels of land in Ijoko and Sango-Ota. The disturbance, our correspondent learnt in Abeokuta on Tuesday, erupted as the warring parties were returning from the High Court, Ota, where a judgment was to be given over the enforcement of the order of the Supreme Court, ceding the massive land to the family of one Matanmi. The violence occurred shortly before the Ogun State Government declared a dusk- to-dawn curfew in Ado Odo town over a reported communal unrest in the community. A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Gbemi Onakoya, in Abeokuta on Tuesday, said that the tensed situation in the community had necessitated the declaration of the curfew from 6pm to 6am. The contenders are fighting over the stool of the Olofin of Ado Ado. Previous violent clashes had claimed lives while valuable properties had been destroyed in Ijoko and Ota in connection with the moves by the Matanmi family to enforce the judgment of the apex court. Hundreds of house owners in the town had also relocated over the re-curring violence in Ijoko. Details of the fracas still remained sketchy as at the time of writing the report, it was, however, learnt that the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Musa Daura, had relocated to Ota to monitor the situation and ensure that the escalating violence was curtailed. Guns were said to be booming from different parts of the town, a development a police source said indicated that the parties had prepared for the violence regardless of the outcome of the judgment, which was eventually adjourned. “These people could not have entered the court room with their weapons, but those weapons were used when the parties clashed on the streets,” the source said. The Police Public Relations Officers at the state command, Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the clash in Ota, admitting that only one person was killed. “Several people were injured and they have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Only one person was killed, not three. We are fully on ground to curtail any violence. The CP is already in Ota over the crisis,” he said. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Alhaji Lamidi Odulawa, said the warring parties in Ado Odo had started attacking themselves in the night, which he noted could only be curtailed if the cufew was enforced. “The tension in the town is too much. People are now attacking themselves in the night. We have asked the police to move in. The Supreme Court had already given a judgment in favour of the sitting Olofin, Chief Lateef Adeniran, and nobody can reverse the ruling of the Supreme Court. “With the police in place, we will be able to know those behind the crisis,” said Odulawa, who added that the state had mediated in the crisis and regretted that the parties had ignored the intervention of the state government. |
The bomb is already at your backyward YORUBA NURTW fights YORUBA touts with bombs. Even a blind malu knows that. |
