Your city where people of Owerri zone swore to no development for any other part of Imo state outside Owerri zone. Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe were nearly the same size in develooment when Imo state was created and Owerri named capital. Owerri people hide under Owerri be state capital naa. to take all federal government development projects in Imo state.

Owerri, with 8lane roads?

Mention one part of Owerri with just 4 lane.
You need to follow the desires of Owerri people.
They can twist every governor to build 15 lanes roads in Owerri, but not one passable road in the other towns of Imo state. Ask them why? They will reply: because Owerri be state capital naa.

@Kushites.
Once you associate Peter Obi with IPOB, you tell yourself you are making a point.

By the way, IPOB is one of the farseeing organisations in this country. IPOB is not a criminal organisation but a secessionist organisation.

IPOB's motto is no violence.

Rather it's the Islamic terrorists sympathisers in control of Nigeria's government then, and who depend on cheap cash from crude oil, who went to court and proclaimed IPOB a terrorist organisation. They are still partially in control of Nigeria.

How could a country's president broach reforms that are making citizens of his country die in droves from starvation?

This is more than wickedness.

N50 has become irrelevant.
That's the type of inflation we get when people who have only Islamic religion in the head are in control of Nigeria. At this inflation rate, N1000 will become irrelevant before two years.

At one point, when a computer in Lagos needs repair, the owner has to send it to the SE for repair, after the repair, it's returned by courier service.
Since the demolition by Lagos State govt started, the number of computer villages under construction in many states of the SE has been in multiples.

That's the energetic Peter Obi, the man who won the last presidential election in Nigeria but was denied victory by INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu and his fellow ethno-religious bigots of Nigeria.
Mahmood had to order for stoppage of the system for electronic transmission of vote results when he observed towards the end of voting that Peter Obi was leading with a very large margin of votes after Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Alhaji Kwankwaso shared the votes of their ethno-religious constituencies.

Nigeria's climate and vast arable lands should have guaranteed every Nigerian the use of fresh, plum and shiny tomatoes and peppers for food; not these dead ones which Oyibo in harsh climates go don throwaway.
But inept political leadership or impracticable one Nigeria denied Nigerians what they should have had in fresh abundance. There are Nigerian groups who love to opt out of Nigeria for new sovereign country but wickedness from others won't allow them.

Unmanageable Nigeria finally manifesting the reality of no president, not even a messiah of a president, can sustain the country's continuity, due to the diverse ethno-religious centrifugal forces pulling the country apart. But when will Nigeria's politicians sharing oyel money accept the reality Nigeria was not designated by God to be a country?
Oyibo in Europe have supervised the dissolution of nearly all countries of different ethno-religious groups in Europe after discovery of the fact that those countries would never make it. Sorry for the masses of Nigeria.

Truth is that only people living in Orlu know these details and Governors have killed the local government system otherwise the LGA Chairmen if well funded are supposed to take care of those inner roads. I've transversed Orlu before but I didn't meet the bad roads because I don't know them and nothing led me to using them. Orlu is quite a developed town and all the villages around it are built up in a very large sprawl all the way to Mbano and Owerri.
I read a lot of reasonable persons from Imo state outside Orlu call on Uzodinma government to attend to the dillapidated urban roads in Orlu. All you do is talk about Orlu villages.

When an Old trickish man dies and buries himself, one of his hands remains on the surface.
You mean Local Government Area councils to take care of urban roads in Orlu, Imo state's 2nd largest urban centre? Will that start in this administration?
All the still motorable or dilapidated urban roads you see in Orlu Municipal LGA were done by IMSG; except those done by NDDC in Amaifeke-Ihioma area.

Local government Councils take charge of Council roads of rural Local Government Areas every where in Nigeria.

Anambra State governors reconstruct urban roads of Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, etc designated urban centres in Anambra State.
Abia state government takes care of urban roads in Aba, Umuahia. Enugu State government recently transformed Nsukka urban infrastructures, including urban roads, to ultra modern status.

Some of you rag heads of Imo state declare Orlu a rural area. You may wish IMSG start to build another decking for another city in the state capital.

Officially, Orlu, Owerri and Okigwe were declared urban status even before Imo state was created.

To confirm 5 new failures

Dollar is headed for 7k naira per dollar

Again it's simple mathematics

The CBN doesn't produce Dollar and cannot target the supply of dollars, they should be reducing the supply of naira

To get the exchange rate correct they need to do two things

1) mop up naira liquidity, the 28% inflation rate is a pointer to what interest rate, CRR rate and what the FG bonds should be trading at. FGN is still issuing bonds at 7% while running at 28% inflation, an insult to peoples intelligence and a disgrace to send emails with such a fraud

2) stop printing naira under any guise, ways and means etc

This indirectly implies reducing FGN expenditure by over 80%

Stop impoverishing people

APC is an evil party and Thiefinibiu is a big thief ekperima
From an insider.

APC is only interested in future Talibanization of Nigeria.
APC has established a possible 24 years of Muslim presidency for Nigeria; from Buhari's 8 years to Tinubu's 8 years to Shetima's 8 years. .
APC made the first ever Muslim-Muslim presidency for Nigeria since 1999.
APC is first party since 1999 to distort the usual Christian to Muslim to Christian to Muslim presidency for Nigeria.

Owerri cannot be a ghetto. The shine was taken from Owerri the day Ihedioha not Uzodinma started fighting businesses and real estates approved by Okorocha like Empire Filling Station, Market Square and Diaspora Estate thereby sending a wrong signal that land approved by a Governor for business interests could be cancelled by the next. It didn't however stop the rapid development of Owerri but only slowed it down. The insecurity in some parts of the State (not Owerri) affected the hospitality industry but it is gradually returning . Owerri remains one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in Nigeria and Uzodinma is trying except that he is still playing some unnecessary politics. His concentration has been on major roads and some hitherto unpassable ones like the Toronto road in Uratta, MCC Road and parts of Nekede road. I don't like the way he handled the insecurity initially which created a hostility but he has been trying his best to reverse the situation. That's a very big challenge that has been affecting Orlu zone which is the largest in the State with 12 LGAs.
This Okorocha's houseboy, go siddon for dirty.
Have you finished posting the few still passable major roads that passed through Orlu Municipal LGA as how good Orlu is, but you will never post the dillapidated inner urban roads in Orlu?
Una man-made insecurity in Orlu-Orsu area would not have stopped any governor from reconstructing the dilapidated inner streets of Orlu. Who attacked Cranemburg when it was reconstructing the Orlu section of Owerri-Orlu road? Nobody. Orlu people are never hostile to anybody, not hostile to any government.
Una no get shame: other SE states boast of three or even four modern cities, but Imo is Owerri; yet una go talk bla bla bla of insecurity in Imo state, (not in Owerri, according to you), as excuse for Imo one city, Owerri?

All your negative campaigns on Orlu - you think you were writing to the Beatis here.

All federal housing estates for Imo state were strangely located in Owerri because other politicians that are not from Owerri zone are MUGUS.
Una still want IMSG fund to build high rise houses in Owerri, buy huge electricity generating sets to run the lifts and other accessories of the buildings. The same way una pushed Ohakim and Okorocha to build flyovers in Owerri where roundabout would be ideal.
Meanwhile, lack of common urban drainage system and washed out urban roads hamper businesses in the towns outside Owerri in Imo state.

Because Owerri shares no cultural relationship with Orlu and Okigwe zones, but shares with Ikwerre in Rivers state, you people from Owerri zone see Imo state govt and its development funds as an exclusive preserve for Owerri area. The charter of equity gave Hope the smooth ride, Hope promised to help rotate the governorship candidate outside Orlu. Stop paddling lies .
Tell yourself two simple truths:
1) Hope Uzodinma is not representing the interest of Orlu senatorial zone after he closed the Imo State university teaching hospital in Orlu but struggled tooth and nail to get a federal university teaching hospital in Owerri.
Hope Uzodinma has made the principal cities in Orlu zone to decay but builds only in Owerri senatorial zone.

2) CHARTER OF EQUITY: Owerri zone hosts all the federal government development infrastructures in Imo state, including FUTO, AIFCE, POLYTECHNIC NEKEDE, FERCOLAT OFUROLA, ALL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PARASTALS in Imo state are in Owerri area.
EQUITY in a state includes distribution of govt institutions and parastatals among the three senatorial districts in a state; EQUITY is not limited only to zoning of governorship positions and other elected officers.

Until Orlu senatorial zone gets a governor of Imo state who will address the imbalance in Imo state, there is not going to be talk about Chatter of Equity in governorship position.

Owerri people struggle and locate every important government establishment in Owerri in Imo state; because people of Owerri know that there is hardly any cultural relationship between Owerri and Orlu/Okigwe zones, Owerri is more related to Ikwerre in Rivers state, than with people in Orlu and Okigwe zones. That's why we are having only one modern and rapidly expanding city, Owerri, in Imo state. Orlu and Okigwe are abandoned to return to the 19th century status, also because the governors from Orlu zone unfortunately, are hardly educated.
