Markswag101: Good Day,
I recently did an interview with a multinational technology consulting company with an opening senegal, i'm expecting to hear back from them this week with the full offer details. i've been having lots of thoughts on the matter, if the offer is very good and i accept it, i'm worried about how i can adapt to the country, how is the lifestyle and culture there, is there a community of nigerians there and if it would be worth it to leave my current job in a tier 1 bank and explore this opportunity. i would appreciate any thoughts and advises here please. How long have u been in the banking industry? What's your cadre? |

SURElee: You don't need anyone to tell you to. You already know as a banker, you have no job. You can wake up, go to work one day and find out you can't log in with your password, what does that tell you? You have been thrown into the job hunting pool.
Take this new offer and build a new career path. The final decision is yours to make.
Peace! That can happen in any industry. To the glory of God, I have worked in the banking industry for good 16 years. I have never been sacked. |

*All Vaccinated people will die within 2 years* Nobel Prize Winner Luc Montagnier has confirmed that there is no chance of survival for people who have received any form of the vaccine. In the shocking interview, the world's top virologist stated blankly: "there is no hope, and no possible treatment for those who have been vaccinated already. We must be prepared to incinerate the bodies." The scientific genius backed claims of other pre eminent virologists after studying the constituents of the vaccine. "They will all die from antibody dependent enhancement. Nothing more can be said." “It’s an enormous mistake, isn’t it? A scientific error as well as a medical error. It is an unacceptable mistake,” Montagnier said in an interview translated and published by the RAIR Foundation USA yesterday. “The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants.” Many epidemiologists know it and are “silent” about the problem known as “antibody-dependent enhancement,” Montagnier said. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/nobel-prize-winner-mass-covid-vaccination-an-unacceptable-mistake-that-is-creating-the-variantshttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luc_Montagnier |

davidodaudu: Hello Everyone,
Please, I need advise on this issue. I am currently in a dilemma. I got admission in the UK for February, 2021 intake. I made a deposit of 4,000 pounds towards my tuition fee and started studying online while I waited for my visa. I submitted my priority visa application in feb. Unfortunately, 5days later I was denied visa. The reason for the denial was that the bank statement submitted was for 20days instead of 28days. This was an obvious error from the UKVI because the statement I submitted was for 30days, from 9/1/2021 to 9/2/2021. I emailed the school about the denial and I was advised to apply for an administrative review. Which I did on the 24th of feb. Its been 3 months since I applied for the AR and its still not out. I am done with my first semester, recently the university emailed me to pay the balance of my tuition fee (8000) or I will be reported to immigration. ( I am sure the finance dept. think I am in the UK already). My dilemma now is, payment of the balance of my tuition fee shouldn't be a problem. But I want to avoid a situation where if the AR is not approved I will not loose my money, and guarantee that the school will reissue me another CAS to reapply. Since I was not denied based on credibility but from an error from the embassy. Also the main aim of schooling in the UK is to qualify for the PGWP and for those who started study in January, 2021 I am told that we are expected to be in the UK by September. What happens if the AR delay hinders me from being in the UK before September? I also want to avoid a scenario where I will finish my study online from my home country and the embassy might not see the need to issue me visa. So I emailed the school asking that they delay the payment until the outcome of the AR or I defer the admission and continue from 2nd semester in September ( There is a second semester batch in September for my course). The school replied my mail telling me that I have 3 options: 1. Defer till next intake hoping that the AR would be out by then. What this means is new fess to be paid. 2. Withdraw- Stop studies and don't pay fees but the risk is that if UKVI contacts us, student no longer studying with us so automatic refusal. 3.Continue studying online and pay fees till decision is out and student can fly into the UK. From my understanding of the mail, the university wants me to start all over again in the net intake and pay a new fee or continue studying online and take my chance with the AR. option two is not an option for me. How do I go about this? Which School is this for Pete sake.? They should have considered a fund. |

The fact that the quality of the defence is so low, yet Ass has conceded such few goals compared to others proves how much Arteta has improved the organisation of the team and he must be credited for that. Jodera: Lemme skip that maturity part in your first paragraph as it'll make us derail which I don't want.
Now you're talking auba and ozil are nonsense buys cos of how they fared at the twilight of their career I guess. I don't know what you mean by "nonsense" but one thing I do know is that at the time they came, they would have walked into any top4 team bar maybe man city. I'm not forgetful of the contribution they gave to us. I'll never forget ozil and his chance creation, I'll never forget Auba(esp last season). No arsenal fan, I repeat, no arsenal fan would call both nonsense buys.
Now, you talk about young talents coming to arsenal over the type of west Ham and Everton. Why I'll agree with you on that cos of arsenal been the bigger club than them, but only a foolish board will strictly buy youngsters to lead a club forward. Not only will they not bring revenue to the club but they are a very very huge gamble. Filling your squad with Smith Rowes and Sakas without any established or successful player to look up to is just plainly naive, and even if they grow up to become stars, they'll quickly port to better teams. Not forgetting that this is EPL where no one waits for you. You have Arteta learning on the job, you still want unknown "potential" talents to learn on the job too. Recipe for relegation.
And on the Arteta hair jab, it's not my fault you can't catch a joke when it's boldly written in your face. Even the emoji ought to tell you it's a joke, but ofcourse, I don't blame you if you don't understand how guys joke. And hey, media doesn't care about sinking ship. They didn't care about it during Emery, but it's Arteta they're supposed to care. You must be kidding.
Lemme just believe you're just here to troll as you normally do You type too much and make less sense. Honestly, I couldn't finish reading this. Less interesting. |

Spy360: Five years is too much for a club of our status (I know you think we are now mid table, but we are still among the most valuable clubs in Europe) and that is adding to the previous years since Wenger.
We have just the next season, and personally for me staying out of Europe should enable a good coach get us back to top four having less distractions.
If we can get Periera (AM), Bissouma (DM) and trim down the squad for focus we will do fine. Please this is not a troll. I can't just remember. When was the last time Arsenal played in the champions' league? It should be close to five years now... |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by ndidibabe(f): 1:24pm On May 11, 2021 |
Spy360: We had a better team than that Villarreal side. Losing to them in a semi final in our most important game of the season is inexcusable. The attacking tactics failed without a plan B. That's the coach. He couldn't find a way to deal with their deep defending. He simply pressed the panic button and threw all his strikers in, making the team lose shape in those final crucial minutes. That lack of experience. The team isnt good enough, so also the coach.
He may probably stay till his contract ends around October. Now that there will be no European commitments as distraction, he should be able to manage the club to at least 3rd position by that time with a genuine push for top 4. If not, he should just leave. But I think he will not stay beyond that, unless he makes me eat my words. Do not underestimate that he achieved the FA cup in his first season itself. You can call it a fluke or whatever, but he beat city and chelsea to do it and not to mention he also beat Klopp in the PL. My point is that no one can say he is tactically inept. If he was then there’s no way you would’ve won the FA cup. The problem with most Arsenal fans is that they overate the team itself. That team is no better than Villarreal's. You are looking at the cost, I am looking at the talents. They outplayed Arsenal in the first leg. If not for the fear of not loosing the second leg which led them to play with caution, Villarreal would have beaten Arsenal. That Nigeria boy kept disturbing Arsenal until he got injured.. |

Jodera: Lol.... Nobody dey drag levels here, except if it's in your mind. But any club that follows your advice esp in this present day EPL or EPL of last five years will live to tell the story in the doldrums of relegation When I say levels, I mean understanding of football and he is very mature too. So you still do not agree that Ozil and Auba are "nonsense" buy? Na wha o... There are so many young talents in Europe. Very hungry and will gladly play for a team like Arsenal. These kind of players will pick Arsenal over teams like Westham, Leicester and Everton. I am saying scout for them to get you back to Europa so that you can attract big players again. In your own analysis, u feel the media are for Arteta simply because of his hair and personality. Are you drunk abi which kinda viewing centre talk be this? They understand the fact that Arsenal is a sinking boat with or without Arteta. The players are not just there. Which of these Arsenal players will be in the starting eleven of the present top four. Non!!! There is simply nothing he can do and they understand this. Get decent players and get back to Europa. It's a gradual process. Arsenal, if well managed can come back to the champions League in the next five years. If they continue wasting money on flops as usual, arsenal will be fighting for relegation in the next five years. |

BlueRayDick: Okay let me put it this way: I believe if Arteta is sacked and we still have Keronke at the helms of affairs, we will still have the age long practice of either spending excessively on players with limited skillset like Pepe or buying cheap players who are of lesser quality compared to our traditional rivals. I believe will still not help us in the long run, we will only go back to fighting top 4 like we used to do in Wenger's latter years.
As it stands, I believe in having a money doling sugar daddy and then getting a good coach from our sugar daddy's magnanimity. I don't believe in the current club management/management anymore Beer Parlour analysis as usual. Sugar Daddy's magnanimity, money doling sugar daddy...No critical reasoning.. |

Spy360: Do you mean irrespective of who the manager is, or actually Arteta. Arteta failed to marshall an attacking plan to score against a weak Villarreal, that for me broke camel's back after all the nonsense we have endured.
I agree with revamping our scouting network, but I doubt Arteta's abilities right now. I doubt he will be able to work with lowly rated players. I want him out. What would he had done differently with the attack? People said he removed Auba when he needed a goal. Before Auba's removal, he contributed nothing than his ball that hit the post. Some said Martinelli should have started but was he fit to start? The problem was the two light weight in your midfield + Partey the flop. Auba is average but he would have taken his chances if well fed. In reality, Arteta is a good coach but doesn't have a good team. |

Spy360: The mistake the board made (and we especially myself who supported them) was to hand the club to a rookie to navigate us through Europe and PL. That was a tall order for someone who has not managed a full league season, as its obvious Arteta didn't learn well from Pep.
Keeping this same manager for another season is sign of continued bad management by the board and owners. Worst, outcome is to wait till his contract ends by October or so to avoid paying him off.
What we need now is an old head. A change of coach isn't what Arsenal need. I think there is a problem at the scouting level and that is where the rebuild needs to start. You need good scouts to rebuild accordingly. Look at all the nonsense players that Arsenal has bought. Pepe, Party, Ozil ,Auba,Williams and co. Unfortunately, most of the local nairaland Arsenal fans think Auba is golden. As it stands now, Arsenal is no longer a big club and has been relegated to a mid- table English club. No champions League and no Europa. This means you can't attract any big player. The few smart Arsenal fans will agree with me that Arsenal has no chance qualifying for the champions League for at least the next five years. Rather than investing so much money on "big-fake" players like Partey, Pepe, Auba and Williams, Arsenal will be better scouting for upcoming and young players that won't cost more than 40m. This should at least bring them back to Europa. If you get your signings right then Arteta will turn out well. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Work Smart Not Hard... by ndidibabe(op): 10:44am On May 10, 2021 |
Paul and Augustine are woodcutters at Ogberaga sawmill. They both argued over who cuts more wood in one day and decided to compete against each other to determine the most efficient and best woodcutter.
The next day, Paul and Augustine woke up early to prepare for the competition, took their separate positions and commenced work at the same pace. After an hour, Paul noticed that Augustine had stopped cutting trees, so he doubled his effort in order to win.
Augustine only stopped cutting wood to take his first 10 minutes break. He made sure to take the 10 minutes break after every hour of work. He would sharpen his axe during this break to ensure efficiency.
In the evening, Paul who worked without stopping was sure that he won the prize. He was shocked when he realized that Augustine won.
He asked his colleague “how did you cut more wood than me? It’s impossible! Augustine said “Each hour I stopped work for ten minutes to sharpen my axe. Thus, I was able to achieve more”.
At your respective desks, don’t just work so hard that you overlook the things that enable work effectiveness. It is important you also work smart. Ensure to work towards your goals and develop the relevant skills required to improve your efficiency.
Here are some tips to sharpen your skills in the workplace:
Self-development: Attend training, take short courses, research and read online materials to improve your skills.
Measure your results, not your time.
Be open to feedback and improvement recommendations.
Explore better ways of getting the work done by working smart, not hard.
