Politics › Re: The Ethnocentric Pmb: I Weep For My Fatherland by nerodenero: 6:08pm On Jul 25, 2015
I was thinking PMB is a leader and not a polithiefcian. My definition of polithiefcian is one that never says what he means and never means what he says. With this statement by PMB,
President Buhari declared in Washington, DC during a question and answer session that he would not treat the constituencies that gave him 97% of their votes the same way he would treat those ones that gave him 5% of their votes because, according to him, it would be unfair!
It shows he has joined the leagues of polithiefcian who says one thing now and does another the next second.

Again, how do we relate I belong to everybody and nobody with this new submission?

Inasmuch as I believe PMB can bring the needed change we clamour, there is need for him to be mindful of his comments. This comment is not befitting to have come from a President.

Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldier Removing An Explosive Device Buried By Insurgents (photo) by nerodenero: 11:44am On Jul 25, 2015
In all of this fight against terror, our porus borders is a cause for worry. Even if we rid our country of terror, what happens when a foreign terror decides to visit us again? Their invasion with be met with no strong opposition as the border is free for all to enter. I pray this doesn't happen. This is the reason Shekau and his evil foot soldiers could stroll into Nigeria, Cameron, Chad and Niger.

Our borders, a great concern!
Politics › Re: Don't intimidate us with EFCC,PDP Senators Warn FG by nerodenero: 9:14am On Jul 25, 2015
EFCC does the bidding of the government at the centre. Under Jonathan, it was just toothless. It wasn't the fault of the opposition that it became a shadow of itself under PDP.

Everything changed because power changed hands. If it was APC handing over to PDP, PDP would do the same.

RIP to the dead. This is no news at all as I have witnessed such ill treatment meted at medical students some years back in ABU and I am sure other schools also face similar challenges.

Think frustration, think medical school. This trend must stop.
Politics › Re: Gabon Isn’t A Zoo – Dirty Messi Didn’t Respect Us’ by nerodenero: 8:17am On Jul 25, 2015
For me, it shows how simple Messi is and that simplicity is now a disrespect for some and a tool for the opposition to score cheap political points against Gabonese President.

I blame the President for this gesture because I doubt if any African player can be so honoured in a foreign land like this. Even George Weah never got this type of privilege.

Quit blaming Messi for his simplicity, I'd rather blame a focusless leader.

Politics › Re: Buhari's Planned Probe Of Jonathan's Administration: A Booby Trap For APC by nerodenero:
Jonathan’s administration might be probed but Jonathan won't go to jail. I pity his former cabinet members, they would be the scapegoat.

As for PMB saying he won't probe Jonathan’s administration before he came to power, he lied and all polithiefcians lie. Jonathan couldn't have probed Yar'adua and OBJ because they are all from the same party. All these is because power changed hands and that's is the beauty of democracy.

My final take is I hope we get to the level that party affiliations won't determine whether one would probed for corruption or not. For now, the witch-hunt so to say continues and if power changed hands in 2019, the trend continues. Whichever way, it's a win-win for the masses.
