what u need to do is run system file checker(sfc) if u deleted something as u say
to do that in run type stc -scannow

or since it'll prolly require administrator privileges then type sfc in the start menu searrch thingy then when u see the file right click and chose run as administrator it shld help if u deleted an important file

errr u can fast and pray!

but if that doesnt work u can take the time out to properly construct a post stating clearly what u need help with cos as it is i jst cant seem to wrap my brain round ur issue(maybe if u restated it some1 would be willing to help, i hv an iddea but i'm not abt to go chasing shadows )

methinks you shouldnt have formatted without backing up your drivers first,

it depends on the type of computer for a HP computer all u need to do is to type recovery in the start menu(on vista) u'll see a recovery disk creation app, then all u need to do is follow the instructions

Personally i like to create the recovery disk(DVD)'s as images so i can burn as many as possible

advantages
if u're computer has a problem it'll be easy to return to the condition it was at first(thats when u created the disk)
unlike just buying a cd from otigba to install the software on the cd is OEM so u wont have any hassles wiv activation

if u hv problems installing programs try using a compatibility mode for a version of windows u're sure is stable

there's anti-theft software for computers. . . can exactly say what it does though, i know i saw among the options when i was customizing my computer on HP website its called LOJACK or somefink of that sort

if u want to buy the laptop its a scam u'll have to go thru a world of stress to get the drivers esp if u dont have a bunz internet connex!
