ayettymama:thats why i have only one george shirt(i think this was bought in america), your spot on wrt the fitting, anytime ppl see the fit they think its a TM. . . one sad thing is how some ppl buy them TM classics that your s'posed to slim-fit yourself and now start wearing them up and down the place . . . i also remember them days of thomas pink sef, but then i was strictly an adidas person, i hadn't seen the light yet! ![]() |
Ebonyeyes:see ur mouth. . . u ppl shld just waka pass when u see naija men jo. . .shior ![]() on sisters in dia, there's a really cool article by this ghanian chick amma-somthing titled 'letter to african men in the diaspora' have u read it? |
debosky:thats prolly why. . .lol AjanleKoko:comm what? or con what? tufia o. . .the only calculations imma be doing are load flows o. . .hopefully i'm glad i postponed the idea in time though, ppl have been recieving rejections left right and center. . . |
stillwater:enu e bi specific! |
i'm around. . .*majestically walking to the first page to see what this thread is all abt* |
ayettymama:well you hv a point sha. . .on both counts too! (though i've seen some awful looking TM's i think the're called classics) my fav shirt is a george(the brand they sell in ASDA) the cut of that shirt is bloody my TM's come next(only the fitted ones pref with darts sef. . .), then there's this shirt maker 'giant', fitted shirts are IT, i wouldn't be caught dead in anything else |
@dominique click start and just type in snipping. . .of course i'm assuming you're using vista. how did u manage to run the microsoft thingy since your IE isnt working? |

july123:you shoulda added 'not in nigeria' to the topic |
i think if y'all are serious and want to get married then you should talk to your pastor, but asking before talking to the girl? serious long thing! |

i'm giving my first salary this year not because of anything a pastor said but because by doing so i want to tell God 'You mean more to me than all this'(. . .personally, i like the what the israelites were to recite after giving the priest their firstfruit in deut 26: 5-. . .'my father was a wandering aramean. . .' cos to me they're saying 'Lord it was You that took care of me, and here i am now') i feel what is important about first fruit is your motive for doing it, and it need not be your entire salary, it could be a day, a week, just part of it. . . |
You should inform the pastor definitely. Also inform the detectives at the local police department, the district attorney at the court house, the butcher at the local grocery store and if you have time the mechanic that regularly services your car.
this is my fav post on this thread jo. . . |
omoeso:did your laptop drop? what you're describing seems to be a problem with the cable that connects your motherboard to your monitor. . . |
RuuDie:can u hear the disks spinning inside? did u change the cable? have you tried it on another PC? Does the indicator light(if it has one) come one? |
well there isn't one less person that thinks that now sha. . .(even though i had to learn the hard way). . .i'm off to bed. . .ttyl |
Kunbee:my bad, i didnt know it was like that. . .accept my condolences. see as you pounce on me. . .haba! |

@dominique there's an app that comes with vista, its called 'snipping tool' its really easy to use. . . |
lol. . .i wonder who'll take his place as senior minister. . . |
dominique:u cld try downloading another program to play your dvd's, if you're stuck on that one, it could be a lil work but we might be able to solve it if you can paste a screen shot of the error message you recieve when you try to use your internet explorer,( which would lead to us having to ask you a lot of questions) also you could try downloading the IE9 from a source other than microsoft update i went back to look at some of your last posts and i finally understand that you mean dvd drive not player. . .it seems there is no way round fixing your ie8 problems. . .i'm assuming you use vista, so use printscreen to copy your screen and past the error message here. . . |
ciscostaz:na so e easy reach? you need to get someone to look at that computer, this isn't the type of thing we can help you with, it seems your motherboard was affected when it dropped and seeing as we cant physically see the computer, there's lil we can do. as per your lan thingy, you cld try to uninstall just before you shut down and see if that'll stop it from draining your battery |
dominique:oyb answered you, he gave you links to other browsers. . . plus your post isn't really coherent you know, could you try restating your problems as clearly as you can. . .i'll try to help! |
i'm browsing at work for the last time, i'm officially leaving this dam today, so that means bye-bye to 24/7 electricity, soldiers guarding you, and peace and quiet, people liking you just because you're a corper . . .the downs: having goats shit on your front porch, seeing more animals than people, hearing people speak in hausa(even when we're in the switchyard), having to wait for shift bus or 'abeg-sir', being around the many incompetent people that make up a large percentage of the nigerian power sector and a host of other things. it also means hello to decent looking buildings, girls i can actually have decent conversations with, a proper internet connection among others. dont worry, i'm not abandoning this thread. . .i'm temporarily resuming work with mumsie asap, she's a M&E(monitoring and evaluation) consultant and she works from home(was a civil servant for donkey years though), at least i will have funding for my ![]() |
Lord i cant express how i feel, i can say i Love You, but that doesn't really make the cut, thanks. . .i'm mad grateful for the past 11months of my life, you've been wonderful! |
