laudate: Hi, put the cylinder far away from your cooker when it is being used, and please ensure that your kitchen is well ventilated always (i.e. windows are always open). You can also install a small gas detector in your kitchen which can detect gas leaks, and give off an alarm if gas escapes from the cylinder or cooker.Thank you. ![]() |
Happy Sunday to you all. By the way, have I given the account of the pre-meet? It actually came up as scheduled. Update coming soon...n ![]() |
We hear this everyday bros Jona. Abeg fashion out another tactic; like the $1 billion you requested, the levick style, the Malala invitation. Please help stop the embarrassment of " we are on top of the situation" " Bokoharam will be a thing of the past soon" statements. |
Interesting! This is really an interesting piece that made my made. I've got to share this on my social media pages. It's true, we've been brainwashed by the westerners that whatever comes from Africa is bad, inferior, primitive and uncivilized contrary to the fact. This makes me to always remember Baba Fela, here what Prof. Wole Soyinka said: "...he always believed whatever comes from Africa is good" Wole Soyinka, speaking on Fela Anikulapo Kuti ( Abami eda himself ) Oh Africa my Africa, where have you gotten it all wrong? Thanks to the author of this excellent article and the poster of the article here.

Miracle plenty for Afrika, and we dey hear am everyday. Na you wan tell us say na fish dey inside Titus tin? ![]() Come Olumo rock come see for una sef. Go Osun state go see river wey get hot and cold water. No dey brainwash ppl with colo mentality. |
scampy: Ok but i believe the idea is already conceptualize and i'm into the Startup stage. I would have started something but this weather is the one that is delaying me. So, hopefully by September i should be able to start. Thank you.Good for you. Different strokes for diff. folks. Some are still in the conceptual stage, while some have started and needs to grow. You see why we need network to solve problems together amidst other support? I wish you the very best in your start-up journey. |
scampy: Thank You! You are doing a great job. I am Dipo, presently in Abeokuta but based at Sango Otta. I am looking at some opportunies which i can venture into. So for now, nothing. Btw, i think there is a Youth Enterpreneurship thread here on Nairaland that do meet offline but they mostly talk on AgriBusiness in their meetings.Dipo, it means you are in the conception stage. You can also get motivated and inspired when we start meeting. Yea, the thread is more centred towards co-operative society for Agriculutrists and potential farmers. This is a kind network group to foster entrepreneurship in Abeokuta and its environ by encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs in their conception stage, and supporting startup founders who have already launch their business to grow. The benefit comes in stages 1. Conceptualization of idea 2. Startup 3. Growth. Through this stages, we support and help ourselves. |
scampy: Nice one. I am very much interested.Welcome scampy! Can we meet you? What you do and other area of business you are interested in? Are you based in the city at the moment? |
AdeCisco: Pls add me. I'm for support. I know Abeokuta to be a stiff town in terms of business. Only Taxis, private hospitals, Bakeries, and Education thrives. What is the new day business in Abeokuta?Welcome on board. You may send me a PM so that I could send you direct mail and I will be able to add you to the BBM group list. Though,I'll also add you to the list here. There are a lot of new business ideas that have potential of generating sustainable income and impact on the society in Abeokuta, but we youths are not thinking inwardly, thereby making it impossible for us to see these opportunities. That's why we need to meet each other, to clean the crystal glass and have clear vision. ![]() |
etenyong: I cast and bind boko haram away from my beloved state in Jesus Name. Amen. O Lord let all d evil plans against my state be scattered by force.Bro, no be only prayer go solve the matter oo. Na to call on your brothers for that side to find out if the text message genuine. If e genuine na to dey proactive and take necessary steps oo. Keeping tab on some communities for that area is one of the tips. Ire ooo. |
Thank you for passing by and giving us word of encouragement. Abeokuta shall be great again. ![]() |
