^^long, boring, tasteless and most importantly its based on shia self-contradictory principles. And you even call Jabata a muhaddith, its one of two things you are suffering from , no third to it: # Ignorance of what it takes to be given that noble title or # Your characteristic shia deception and double standard has made you give him the title just to make yourself look like a big scholar by refuting a 'muhadith' |
Empiree:the way you this Sufi guy advertise your ignorance is preposterous and absurd. For your information such statement of Ibn Umar is called marfoo' hukman المرفوع حكما!! copy it and paste in your search bar! This is just a very basic term known to the students of hadith. You really suck, I must confess to you. |
This filthy shia guy is here again this year to rant his shia misguidance of calling tarawih an innovation. Like sino said, the only reason why d shia call it innovation is because it was revived by Umar bn Khattaab. So, we say to these filthy rawafidh: Ali bn Abi Talib -that you falsely claim to follow- didn't change it during his khilafah! is he also an innovator?! Its obvious that you grave worshippers (shia) are nothing but deviants who base their worship on double standards and sheer self desired. may Allah soften your heart and make you repent before death. if not I fear for you a severe torment!!! |
BEWARE OF IMPOSTERS!!! MSSNOAU HAS NOT CHANGED ITS BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER! As Salaamu alaykum. A set of faceless individuals have recently been circulating a false bank account number claiming it belongs to MSSNOAU (Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University). We want to use this medium to notify the public that the real MSSNOAU dissociates itself from a GTBank account number currently being circulated. MSSNOAU has not changed its present and well known account numbers. The authentic MSSNOAU account numbers still remain: 1. Access Bank, OAU Branch, Account No: 0034061709 Acct name: Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University Branch. 2. First Bank, OAU Branch Account No: 3023017435 Acct name: Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, OAU Branch. More so, one impostor calling himself Mr Idowu Akeem is not the Amir of MSSNOAU (as he and his gang are claiming in their false circulations), nor does he belong to the general body of MSSNOAU executives. # The Emergence Of Time When Bid`ah Will Be Considered As Sunnah: The Companion, Hudhaifah bin al-Yamaan رضي الله عنه once took two stones and placed one on top of the other and asked his companions: ❝Do you see any light (passing) between these two stones?❞ They said: “O Abu `Abdullaah! We don’t see any light (passing) between these two stones except for very little.” He said: ❝By the One (Allaah) in whose Hand is my soul! Verily, Bid`ah (religious innovation) will (soon) appear till nothing of the truth is seen except for the amount of light which you see (passing) between these two stones. By Allaah! Bid`ah will circulate (so much) so that if something of it is left out, the people will say: The Sunnah had been abandoned.❞ _____________________ [al-Bid`a of Ibn al-Wadhdhaah (151); al-I`tesaam of al-Shaatibee (1/106)] |
Aameen wa iyyaakum Pls my brother I'm not Ustadh and I'm not close to being one. The post is just a copy and paste. Allah knows best. |

kazlaw2000:Aameen wa iyyaak. I just realized it this morning too. I'm really grateful for the observation. jazaakaLLaahu khayraa |
IdisuleOurOwn:What I meant is that: # Intention is to be conceived in the heart not uttered on the tongue. Uttering intention was not reported from the messenger of Allah alyhissolaat wassalaam and his companions rodiyaLLaahu anhum. # Intention has no Particular wordings. You just need to conceive the worship in your heart. Uttering intention or giving it a particular wordings is an innovation and it is not from the messenger of Allah alyhissolaat wassalaam. The Prophet alyhissolaat wassalaam said: من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد (متفق عليه) whoever innovates into this affair of ours what is not from it, it will be rejected (Bukharee and Muslim). |
please my brother, these intentions have no basis in the Sharia, language or custom. In the Sharia there is no evidence to establish these intentions neither from the Quran nor from the sunnah. And the companions were not known to practice it. The messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam said: Whoever innovates into this affair of ours (i.e Islam) it will be rejected (Bukharee and Muslim) Even in language (both English and Arabic), intention is never used for the utterances. Check and quote any dictionary, you will see that intention is not used for utterances or actions rather it is only used for deeds of the heart. Reminds me of a story mentioned by Sheikh Ibnul Uthymeen in his sharh of nawawiy's collection. A man wanted to pray in Haram, before he started he said his intention aloud i.e I intend to observe so and so Solah, behind the Imam as an act of worship to you Allah etc. The Man beside him said: wait you didn't add your address and date!!! Of course it's a good response because Allah says: Surah Al-Hujraat, Verse 16: قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ اللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ Say: "Will you inform Allah about your religion? While Allah knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is All-Aware of everything. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran So, in summary, the intention should be in the heart and it has no special or specific wording. Allah knows best. |
Anas Ibn Malik رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه reported that, the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: “There are three qualities whoever has them, will taste the sweetness of Eeman: To love ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) and His Messenger صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ more than anyone else; to love a Slave (of ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى)) only for (the Sake of) ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى); and to abhor returning to infidelity after ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) has saved him from it as he would abhor to be thrown into the fire (of Hell)” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] And ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) knows best. May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) protect all the ummah, May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) give us success in deen, dunya and even greater success in the akhira. Allah Humma Aameen. Sahih Muslim :Book 042, Number 705 Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah’s Apostle (Sallalaahu Alaihi wa Sallam) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of ‘Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham? They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us. He said: Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)? They said: By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as it (this dead lamb) is in your eye. source: Sahih Muslim —The Book Pertaining to Piety and Softening of Hearts (Kitab Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqa’iq) Copied |
Know -may Allah have mercy on you- that Islam is based upon negation and affirmation. Your affirmation is not useful until it is accompanied by negation. From our Shahadah i.e La ilaha illa Allah (No deity has right to worship except Allah). It is clear that worship must be singled out for Allah alone and for nothing else. Several verses in the Quran have explained this basic foundation but many people are negligent of this. Ponder over the following verses: Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 256: لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (English - Mohsin Khan) Via iQuran Imam Ibnul Qoyyim explains the meaning of taghut to be anything that makes one transgress the bounds of Allah. This could be one's wealth, children, parents, friends, work etc. Anything that makes one go beyond the bounds of Allah is a taghut. (see fathul Majeed Sharh kitaab Tawheed). And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father and his people: "Verily, I am innocent of what you worship, إِلَّا الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُ سَيَهْدِينِ "Except Him (i.e. I worship none but Allah Alone) Who did create me, and verily, He will guide me." (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran The above verses explain the obligation of negating the right to worship from anyone or anything just as it states the obligation of affirming it for Allah. A person cannot be said to be a believer -at all- till he negates the right to worship from every person or thing and affirms it for Allah alone. Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 5: وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran These are just a few among many verses that command the believer to worship Allah alone and associate no partner with Him. This is the foundation upon which our Religion is based. NEGATION AND AFFIRMATION! This is the Tawheed of Islam. It is the primary reason why the Messengers were sent and the books were revealed. |
Is it Sunnah to fast the entire month of Sha’baan? Praise be to Allaah. It is mustahabb to fast a great deal in the month of Sha’baan. It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast the whole of Sha’baan. Ahmad (26022), Abu Dawood (2336), al-Nasaa’i (2175) and Ibn Maajah (1648) narrated that Umm Salamah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “I never saw the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fast two consecutive months apart from the fact that he used to join Sha’baan and Ramadaan.” According to a version narrated by Abu Dawood: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never used to fast any complete month in the year, apart from Sha’baan, which he used to join to Ramadaan.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 2048. The apparent meaning of this hadeeth is that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast the entire month of Sha’baan. But it was also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast all of Sha’baan apart from a few days. Muslim (1156) narrated that Abu Salamah said: “I asked ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) about the fasting of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and she said: ‘He used to fast until we thought that he would always fast, then he would not fast until we thought that he would always not fast, but I never saw him fast in any month more than he fasted in Sha’baan. He used to fast all of Sha’baan, and he used to fast all of Sha’baan apart from a few days.’” The scholars differed as to the way of reconciling between these hadeeths. Some of them said that this had to do with differences of time – in some years the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fasted all of Sha’baan, and in other years he fasted all of that month apart from a few days. This was the view favoured by Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him). See Majmoo’ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn Baaz, 15/416. Others said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never fasted any month in full apart from Ramadaan, and they interpreted the hadeeth of Umm Salamah as meaning that he fasted all of Sha’baan apart from a few days. They said that this is possible from a linguistic point of view, that if a man fasts for most of a month it may be said that he fasted the whole month. Al-Haafiz said: The hadeeth of ‘Aa’ishah explains what was said in the hadeeth of Umm Salamah, which says that he did fast any month of the year in full apart from Sha’baan which he used to join to Ramadaan; this means that he used to fast most of it. Al-Tirmidhi narrated that Ibn al-Mubaarak said: It is possible in the language of the Arabs, if a person fasts most of a month, to say that he fasted the whole month… Al-Teebi said: It may be interpreted as meaning that he used to fast all of Sha’baan sometimes and most of Sha’baan at other times, lest people think that it is obligatory to fast the entire month, like Ramadaan. Then al-Haafiz said: The former is the correct view – in other words, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not fast all of Sha’baan. He quoted as evidence for that the report narrated by Muslim (746) from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: “I do not know that the Prophet of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited the entire Qur’aan in one night, or spent an entire night in prayer until dawn, or fasted an entire month apart from Ramadaan.” And he quoted the report narrated by al-Bukhaari (1971) and Muslim (1157) from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never fasted any month in full apart from Ramadaan.” Al-Sindi said in his commentary on the hadeeth of Umm Salamah: “He joined Sha’baan to Ramadaan” means that he fasted them both together. The apparent meaning is that he fasted all of Sha’baan… but there are reports which indicate something different. Hence it is to be understood as meaning that he used to fast most of it, so it was as if he fasted all of it and joined it to Ramadaan. If it is asked, what is the reason for fasting a great deal during Sha’baan? The answer is: Al-Haafiz said: The reason in explained in the report narrated by al-Nasaa’i and Abu Dawood, and classed as saheeh by Ibn Khuzaymah, according to which Usaamah ibn Zayd said: “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, I do not see you fasting in any month more than in Sha’baan.’ He said, ‘That is a month concerning which many people are heedless, between Rajab and Ramadaan. It is the month is which people’s deeds are taken up to the Lord of the Worlds, and I would like my deeds to be taken up whilst I am fasting.’” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i, 2221. And Allaah knows best. https://islamqa.info/en/13729 |
^^ I - just like you - wish he was mesmerising. But we both know the ignorance of many imams of Yoruba land. I won't be surprised if statistics show that over 80% of them can't recite fatiha correctly! This is supposed to be a challenge to the youths, to ensure that this type of ignorance does not continue. The most important step towards this is for the youths to engage in seeking Islamic knowledge. Unfortunately, reverse is the case. I prayed behind a young man once, he was the Imam of the mosque, I had to terminate the Solah, on getting outside the mosque I found my friend too outside. He had also terminated his Solah. Both of us left the Solah, why? The imam's fatiha was not acceptable by any standard, it was not even close to any standards. If the Imam was an old man, maybe I would have found some excuses for him. But a young man, what's his excuse for his ignorance in this age?! And he is the Imam of the mosque! Inna liLLaahi wa Inna ilayhi Raji'oon |
QueenSalewa:If a person could find it difficult to pronounce a simple name then you should expect him to find it more difficult to recite suratul fatiha correctly. And that's one of the many problems we are facing in Yoruba land. I won't be surprised if statistics show that over 80% of our imams in Yoruba land cannot recite suratul fatiha correctly. Nowhere is it encouraged as a religious teaching... Socially encouraged to identify a child with the islamic religion perhaps, yes.I don't want this to degenerate so I'll won't respond. Anyway, I enjoin you to seek knowledge of Islam and ensure that your opinions are based on knowledge and certainty. Allah knows best. |

THIS IS NOTING BUT FITNAH (Tribulation) I was seated in a Central Mosque in my area this evening reading Saheehul Bukhaari Arabic Version Volume 4. One of the Imaams of this mosque walked up to me and asked, what book are you reading? I answered: it is Saheehul Bukhaari. He surprisingly said: Oh when did Bukhaari Omo Musa write this book? I was shocked in surprise because this Imaam does not know the book titled Saheehul Bukhaari at all. And secondly this Bukhaari Omo Musa he mentioned is a critical innovator in Nigeria. Look at the one who the people of the community consider as a knowledgeable person, but the fact is that he's not what the people consider him to be. This is nothing but one of the lesser signs of the Hour, "Taking away of knowledge and the prevalence of ignorance" as it says in Saheehul Bukhaari and Muslim. May Almighty Allaah save us from this Fitnah (temptation). #Copied# |
^^OOP Out Of Point
A desperate but clearly baseless attempt |
Everyday I increase in certainty about the misguidance and stray of the filthy Rafidhoh (shia)!!! Just take a look at this crap دعاء صنمي قريس Shia sheikhs are shameless liars. See the crap doesn't even have a chain. And the deviant dotard Majlisi even attributes it to Ali bn Abi Tolib (rodiyaLLaahu anhu). And these gullible Fools follow their misguided sheikhs in this evil. |
QueenSalewa:My Sister, you have misunderstood the OP. The problem is not in bearing non-Arabic name. The problem is in mispronunciation of the Arabic names. That's what the post addressed. Actually, we are not saying Arabic names are better than our local names. The names we are defending are Muslim/Islamic names not Arabic names. I hope you get the difference between the two. No, an Islamic name in Arabic language is encouraged to be given to the child because the language of Islam is Arabic. The Quran was revealed with it, the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam spoke it, the companions too etc. Allah is all-Wise, and out of His wisdom, He has selected Arabic language and honoured it. Just as He honoured Ramadan among the months, Muhammad alyhissolaat wassalaam among the prophets, laylatul Qadir among the nights, Jumuah among the days, makkah among the cities. There is no need to be jealous or envious. It is the favour of Allah, He gives whom He wills. However there is nothing wrong with bearing a local name also, so far it doesn't contradict Islam by having meanings of idolatry and other sins. eg sangobiyi, ogundeyi, malomo, kosoko etc. And there is nothing wrong with bearing more than one name. Allah knows best. |
Lailatul Barath Or Shab E Barath.!! What is the importance of fifteenth (15) night of Shaa'baan? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMTt_qrzOcw Dear brothers & sisters in Islam! In Sha Allah watch mentioned above video to clarify the concept of middle (15th) of Shaa'baan. Jazakumullahu khairn... May ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) protect us from any kind of shirk & bid'ah & keep us among with righteous ummah. Allah Humma Aameen. |
Farmerforlife:JazaakumuLLaahu khayraa. you have just summarized my retort. |
BismiLLahir Rahmaanir Raheem A complete retort to the deviant alliance. I say ~wa biLLaahi taofeeq~ Using people (whether pious or otherwise) as wasila (means of seeking closeness) to Allah is prohibited rather it is tantamount to disbelief. The same argument you deviants brought forth is the same argument of the polytheists as Allah mentioned in Surah Zumar: Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 3: Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only. And those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allah." Verily, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran As you can see, Allah calls them disbelievers in the end of the verse. They never claimed that their idols were Supreme, they only took them as wasila (intermediaries). This claim is still common among the polytheists till today. the Christians say that they don't worship Jesus but only take him as a bridge between them and God because. And we all agree that they are disbelievers. Note: Eesa bn Maryam that the Christians take as wasila is a messenger and even one of the five ulul azm. There is no one else apart from Allah's messenger in this ummah who could be better than Eesa alyhissolaat wassalaam. Yet those who take him as intermediary are expressly declared as disbelievers. The question is this, is it that once a person attributes himself to Islam it doesn't matter whatever act of disbelief and sin he commits?! I don't know where people got this double standard from. I thank Allah for the mercy of knowing the pristine Islam. to be continued.... in shaa Allah |
Farmerforlife:Aameen wa iyyaak |
Empiree:@underlined I don't know what you take me for. An ignorant toddler? It's in the books of the Shia that a visit to the karbala shrine is equal to ten hajjs. This is definitely a lie. AlhamduliLlah they didn't attribute it to the Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam. And that makes the falsehood in it easier to discover. As for the Sufi, please see fuyoodhaat robaaniuyah. You will overwhelming proof for what you seek. |
Empiree:Yes, they are really learning. can't you see that the assalatu women can perform ablution and Solah correctly!!! Your comments are very interesting, maybe you should get someone to read them for you before submitting, you will realize how ridiculous most of your comments are. |
Basit99:She is a moderator of this section |
slimcious:As-Siddeeq is one of the nicknames of the most eminent companion of Allah's messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam. Meaning the extremely believing person. This is because of his immediate belief in the message of Allah's messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam when he was called to Islam and when he was informed of the Isra and miraj. So, you should be Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq. You should try to learn more about the noble companion and first Khalifah of the Muslims. And also strive to emulate him. rodiyaLLaahu anhu. He is also referred to as 'atiq. i.e the freed person because The Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam said to him: You are the atiq of Allah. meaning you have been freed by Allah from hellfire. Allah knows best. |
And that deviant also said they don't insult them, they only send lanat upon them. Your case is like the fool who is accused of insulting his parents but says no I don't insult them I only give them dirty slaps!!! I said you insult the righteous slaves of Allah, you said you only curse them. ............. And see how that one tries to hide their shia misguidance of cursing the companions with taqiyyah. But only one who lacks insight will not see beyond your taqiyyah lies. The fact that you are not a follower of Yasir Habib who curses those personalities openly on air, you should not respond in that mannerYou expressly stated that you curse them but you just don't subscribe to cursing them in the public. You are still an upcoming taqiyyah apprentice! |
Empiree:No, that would simply mean these people are too far from pristine Islamic understanding. ..................................................................................... See the deviant shia claiming that they only visit graves. There are several videos of shia worshipping and calling upon graves in youtube so what's the shia man claiming? Grave visit is different from grave worship. yes, You shia go to the graves to seek protection, assistance and relief from the dead. So there is clear difference between the polytheism you practice in karbala and the visitation the messenger recommended. In the sunnah visitation, the visitors pray to Allah to have mercy and forgiveness for the buries. But in the polytheistic visitation of you shia and Sufi deviants. What you do is pray to the dead for assistance, help, relief protection, provision etc. Many of them even make vows to the buried that: "Oh master, if you do this for me, I'll definitely slaughter a ram or bring so and so gift to this grave" and similar statements of the innovated polytheistic visitation of the graves. |
