Empiree:It's you that actually needs to slow down and stop contradicting the Sunnah. The gathering I was referring to is the gathering of knowledge not gathering of innovations. Innovations and innovators are cursed on the tongue of Allah's messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam. No one is sniffing around for innovations and innovators, it's not hidden. From The Sunday asalatu to the innovated gatherings of laylatul Qadri and isra wa miraj to the maolud nabiyy etc The people who practice these innovations do not hide them, so no one is sniffing around. It's just that the truth has to be clarified to the people even if the people of innovation and desire do not love it! |
too much crap... I don't where to start explaining matters. Allahul musta'an |
Sheikh Najmuddeen Sulaiman holds halqah @Ogba every Sunday. please try to attend, I hope you will benefit greatly from the gathering. |
SuPeRq:Aameen wa iyyaak |
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Fajr Narrated Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with Her and Her father) : When the Mu'adh-dhin pronounced the Adhan for Fajr prayer and the dawn became evident the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered a two rak`at light prayer (Sunna) before the Iqama of the compulsory (congregational) prayer. (Bukhari - Vol. 1, Book 11, Hadith 592) So the sunnah for the two rakats before the fajr Solah is to make them light and not long. Allah knows best. |
SuPeRq:Qudrah is not good enough, though I wouldn't call it a bad name. Qudrah means might/ability. And a person can only be mighty he/she can't be might. It would have been acceptable to name her Qaadirah (note the elongation of the a). even better than that is if she was named Amatul-Qadir this is the feminine equivalent of Abdul-Qodir. Allah knows best. |
Adek15:No you shouldn't. It is not permissible for anyone to walk in front of a person who is praying unless that is behind his sutrah (object used as a screen), or he walks far away from him, beyond the place where he is prostrating – in the event that he has not set up a sutrah – because of the report narrated by al-Bukhaari(510) and Muslim (507) which says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If the one who passes in front of one who is praying knew what (sin) he incurs, he would realize that waiting for forty is better than passing in front of him.” Abu’l-Nadr said: I do not know whether he said forty days, or months, or years. click here for more information |

hahn:Sorry, but the Quran and sunnah are both from Allah. Your companion (Muhammad SAW) has neither gone astray nor has erred. Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired. And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination. Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)." But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers. What Allah gave as booty (Fai') to His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from the people of the townships, - it is for Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), the kindred (of Messenger Muhammad SAW), the orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), and the wayfarer, in order that it may not become a fortune used by the rich among you. ]b]And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment.[/b] (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran So what do you say about the above verses. |
eitsei:Sheikh jamzuriyy in his tuhfah said: إلا إذا كان بكلمة فلا تدغم كدنيا ثم صنوان تلا Except if it is in a word, then dont do idgam like (ie example) dunya or sinwan. Read So revise the poem of Sheikh Jamzuriyy and the explanations of the poem. You'll find it there. in shaa Allah |
hahn:Don't beg the question? Do you want to leave the sunnah of Allah's messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam? |
eitsei:Haa, you missed it. The one you mentioned here is idgam and idgam is not done between letters of a single word. Maybe you should revise the books of tajweed again. JazaakumuLLaahu khayraa |
hahn:Do you want to take the Quran and leave the sunnah? |
Farmerforlife:There's some truth in your post but it would be better for you not to generalise. |
koma1:You have already told us what is established, leave every other statement and the one who said it once the Prophet alyhissolaat wassalaam has given a decree. |
musulumi:Haa baba tough questions oo, Allahulmusta'aan. The second question, the scholars differed in it but what is clearer to me is the opinion of Imam Albany that it's in the first adhan. The first question, the time for fajr starts from the appearance of the true fajr i.e the second fajr till the rising of the sun. And it is recommended to be hastened once the appearance of the fajr is sure. (mulakhas fiqhiyy page 55). As for galas and sufr. I don't know how it affects the time of fajr. |
Adek15:Yes it is permissible to walk between the rows but not in front of the Imam. The evidence for that is the hadith of Ibn Abbass which he said he walked past some rows of Solah while the Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam was leading Solah in Mina and nobody detested that. (Bukharee;hadith nos 76 & 493 & 871 etc, Muslim; hadith no 504) see also umdatul ahkaam; hadith no 110) Allah knows best. |
ademoladeji:You should only it in the first rakah before fatiha. And not repeat it before the other verses or in the subsequent rakats. Allah knows best. |
Damstarr:Actually, I didn't write it, I only shared it. Most of my posts are shared except that they are carefully and wisely selected. |
Jarus:@underlined... true talk. Baarakallaahu feek. It's because of his ignorance. |
hahn:Please see tasmiyatul maolud by Sheikh Bakr Abu Zayd |
ybalogs:please mention an example of such names |
Comanche:Aameen wa iyyaak. AlhamduliLlah for the clarification of the names. The adding of u to the names is because the u is actually there but the Arabs don't pronounce the last vowel of the word. So they simply say Aminah. But natural Yoruba speakers will find it hard to pronounce a cluster of consonants or to to end a word without a vowel sound. So, they pronounce the last vowel. The best solution to this is to ensure that we see proper Islamic education and also make sure our children don't suffer the ignorance we have suffered. Allah knows best. |
eitsei:Its a great fortune that Allah blessed you with parents that were foresighted and wise enough to know the importance of Islamic knowledge especially for a female child. You owe them a lot, I ask Allah to make it easy for you to be grateful for this mercy. As for your name, it wasn't mispelt. in Arabic language when nuun that has sukuun preceedes the letter ba, the nuun is to be pronounced as meem not nuun anymore. This is what the scholars of tajweed call iqlaab or qalb (transformation or change). If you pick up your Quran and check the following verse : Surah Ash-Shams, Verse 12: إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا When the most wicked man among them went forth (to kill the she-camel). (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran You will find a small written above the letter nuun showing that you should do qalb. Allah knows best. |
WASMOG:Yes, in Arabic language, the last vowel is not pronounced. So, the proper way to pronounce it is AbdulWaasi' with omission of the u at the end. In fact saying AbdulWasiu is not grammatical correct because the vowel that ends the name is the kasra (i) sound not the dammah (u) sound because of the grammatical construction which the name is from. Allah knows best. |
Aqeedatu awwalan law kānuu ya'lamuun! "Creed first if they have known!" A lot of people often commence the acquisition of Islamic knowledge with subjects like fiqh (worship-jurispudence), nahw&sarf (grammar&syntax) etc, while creed is taken last or neglected and this make them fall into many errors. Mistake(s) could render one an innovator or even an apostate. Allãhs refuge is sought! Start learning the right aqeedah today! May Allãh bless you all. |

ShiaMuslim:Why are you both feeling insecure about the OP? The reason is simple: You definitely know you are innovators!!! Nay! man is evidence against himself, Though he puts forth his excuses. (English - Shakir) via iQuran As for your curses and insults, I'm not surprised, I don't expect any good from the one who insults Abu Bakr, Umar, the wives of the Prophet alyhissolaat wassalaam etc. So, I beseech Allah to give you all whatever reward you deserve for your foul and slanderous accusations of the pious slaves of Allah. Lastly, your claim that whoever says the shahaadah is not to be called kafir. Yes this is true if he hasn't done what nullifies his shahaadah. Anyone who spends just a little of his time with the books of fiqh - written by past and present scholars- will see that they usually have a chapter to discuss matters of apostasy and the rulings of apostates. So, the shahaadah has nullifiers and one of such is seeking refuge or assistance with the dead or grave-worship which is one of the major rites of shia visit to karbala. Part of those nullifiers is; making jest of any of the signs of Allah such as His religion, His Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam, His commandments, His reward, His punishment, the mosque, the hijab, the beards etc. If you ask them (about this), they declare: "We were only talking idly and joking." Say: "Was it at Allah, and His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger (SAW) that you were mocking?" Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you because they were Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran So, stop pouring emotions that are void of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Talking about tekfeeris: Shia are the worst of all deviant sects in that. Which other tekfeer, misguidance and deviation could be greater than letting your hideous tongue loose at the two closest companions of Allah's messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam. |
Empiree:sorry, but what I have stated is the fact. |
# Some of the salaf i.e pious predecessors regarded coming to the mosque after the adhaan as a shortcoming, and that it was better to go to the mosque before the call to prayer. √ Sufyaan al-Thawri said: "Your coming to the prayer before the iqaamah is a sign of respect for the prayer." End quote. _____________________ Fath al-Baari (3/533). ********************************************** √ Ibraaheem al-Taymi said: " If you see a man being careless about the first takbeer, then wash your hands of him." End quote. _______________________ Siyar A’laam al-Nubala’ (5/84). ********************************************** √ Wakee’ ibn al-Jarraah used to say: "Whoever does not catch up with the first takbeer, do not hope for any good from him." End quote. _______________________ Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan (3/74). ********************************************** √ Sufyaan ibn ‘Uyaynah said: "Do not be like the bad slave who does not come until he is called. Come to prayer before the call is given." End quote. _______________________ Al-Tabsirah by Ibn al-Jawzi (131). |
