AlBaqir:Mr. Shia sorry, I'm done arguing with you and your fellow infidels. Surah Al-Kafiroon, Verse 6: لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ "To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)." (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Empiree:Now you use the actions of some sacrilegious lunatics as your proof. I'm not surprised, the Sufi are very common with such deviant methodologies. eg it's the Sufi sheikhs that will tell you that a mad man is a wali of Allah. that he was given a prayer in his dream (solatul fati) and it's better than the Quran 600 times. And many other craps. In Yoruba land here there is a Sufi sheikh that starts his fast ten days before Ramadan and ends it ten days before shawwal. And that Onikijipa the babalawo that attributes himself to Islam. if you want to count the deviations and non commonsensical feats of the Sufi and their sheikhs, a new section will be needed for it. You are not the first to display this type of deviation in history, some deviants have preceded you in your misguidance. They innovated in the Deen by distorting the names and attributes of Allah, when they were asked for evidence they couldn't find any. Instead of turning back from their deviations they went deeper into it and used the word of a Christian poet (called al-akhtal) as proof. SubhanaLLaah, A Christian, and even a poet, they used his word in discussing the names and attributes of their Lord the most exalted. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون. That's the same thing you have done here!!! Surah Ash-Shuara, Verse 224: وَالشُّعَرَاءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ As for the poets, the erring follow them, (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said regarding those deviants in his laamiyyah: قبحا لمن نبذ القران وراءه و إذا استدل يقول قال الأخطل Hideous! the one who threw the Quran behind him. And when he seeks proof he says: "al-akhtal said". |
Ngozi123:My lady, I advise you to stop this debate. You are not making sense. I'm just being frank with you, no insults intended. |
^^Surah Al-Araf, Verse 199: خُذِ الْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْجَاهِلِينَ Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the foolish (i.e. don't punish them). (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Opposing the Hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah [ ﷺ ] Ibn al-Qayyim [ ﺭﺣﻤﻪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ] said: ❝Indeed the fine Salaf would become severely critical and very angry against the person who opposed the Hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah [ ﷺ ] by opinions, or analogies, or regarding something as good just by its virtue, or for the saying of a person no matter who he was! The Salaf would make Hajr [boycott] the person who opposed the Hadeeth, they would criticize the one who would bring proverbs and parables in the place of Hadeeth, they would not permit other than having obedience to the Messenger [ ﷺ ] with submission, acceptance with hearing and obeying! It would not cross their hearts to have any hindrance in accepting the Hadeeth so much so that they would need a testimony for that Hadeeth or an action or analogy or that it would have to agree with so and so’s statement, but rather they used to act upon the saying of Allaah [ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ]: ﴿ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻟِﻤُﺆْﻣِﻦٍ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻣُﺆْﻣِﻨَﺔٍ ﺇِﺫَﺍ ﻗَﻀَﻰ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻭَﺭَﺳُﻮﻟُﻪُ ﺃَﻣْﺮًﺍ ﺃَﻥْ ﻳَﻜُﻮﻥَ ﻟَﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﺨِﻴَﺮَﺓُ ﻣِﻦْ ﺃَﻣْﺮِﻫِﻢْ ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﻳَﻌْﺺِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻭَﺭَﺳُﻮﻟَﻪُ ﻓَﻘَﺪْ ﺿَﻞَّ ﺿَﻠَﺎﻟًﺎ ﻣُﺒِﻴﻨًﺎ ﴾ "It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error." [Ahzab: 36] Allaah [ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ] said: ﴿ ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﻭَﺭَﺑِّﻚَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮﻥَ ﺣَﺘَّﻰ ﻳُﺤَﻜِّﻤُﻮﻙَ ﻓِﻴﻤَﺎ ﺷَﺠَﺮَ ﺑَﻴْﻨَﻬُﻢْ ﺛُﻢَّ ﻟَﺎ ﻳَﺠِﺪُﻭﺍ ﻓِﻲ ﺃَﻧْﻔُﺴِﻬِﻢْ ﺣَﺮَﺟًﺎ ﻣِﻤَّﺎ ﻗَﻀَﻴْﺖَ ﻭَﻳُﺴَﻠِّﻤُﻮﺍ ﺗَﺴْﻠِﻴﻤًﺎ ﴾ "But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission." [Nisa’: 65] Allaah [ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ] said: ﴿ ﺍﺗَّﺒِﻌُﻮﺍ ﻣَﺎ ﺃُﻧﺰِﻝَ ﺇِﻟﻴﻜُﻢ ﻣِﻦ ﺭَّﺑِّﻜُﻢ ﻭَﻻ ﺗَﺘَّﺒِﻌُﻮﺍ ﻣِﻦ ﺩُﻭﻧِﻪِ ﺃَﻭﻟِﻴﺎﺀَﻗﻠﻴﻼً ﻣَﺎ ﺗَﺬَﻛَّﺮُﻭﻥ ﴾ "Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow not any Auliyâ’ [protectors and helpers, etc. who order you to associate partners in worship with Allaah], besides Him [Allaah]. Little do you remember!" [al-A’araaf: 3] And other Ayaat similar to these. We have been propelled in to a time that if it is said to one of them: It is established from the Prophet [ ﷺ ] that he said such and such statement! A person would claim: ‘Who said this?!’ Rejection in the face of the Hadeeth and makes his ignorance of the one who said that statement [the Prophet] as an evidence to oppose the Prophet!! And leaving off acting upon the Hadeeth, if he was sincere to himself he would know that his speech is the worst of falsehood and that it is not permissible for a person to reject the Sunnan of the Messenger of Allaah [ ﷺ ] with the likes of this ignorance. What is uglier than this is his excuse of his ignorance! Since he believes that there is a consensus contracted upon opposing that Sunnah. This is evil speculation regarding the Muslims collectively Since this person ascribes to them that they are united upon opposing the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah [ ﷺ ]. What is uglier than that is the excuse of claiming this consensus. This is actually his ignorance, not having knowledge about the one who said this Hadeeth, so the issue returns to preceding his ignorance over that of the Sunnah. Allaah’s aid is sought.❞ [Ialaam al-Muwaqqa’een, (3/464-465) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath al-Anbiyya] |
Ngozi123:I don't want to be hard on you but your statement is seriously far from reasonable. I'm serious, read it again, you will see. |
Empiree:Sufism and the companions are far apart. They don't meet. They are not even comparable. Only one who is a stark ignorant or follower of desires will say such. Following the salaf i.e pious predecessors is the only way to being saved. say No to: #Innovation #partisanship #Self Desires #Dogmatism |
QUESTION (344) Can we observe our prayers behind an Imaam who does Bid'ah (Innovation)?. ANSWER TO THE QUESTION Praise be to Allaah. If his bid’ah (innovation) amounts to shirk, such as calling upon someone other than Allaah, making vows to someone other than Allaah, or believing that their Shaykhs possess attributes that belong to Allaah alone – such as perfect knowledge, knowledge of the unseen or the power to influence events – then prayers offered behind him are not valid. If his bid’ah does not amount to shirk, such as reciting Adhkaar that were narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), but doing that in unison and swaying from side to side, then prayers offered behind him are valid, but the Muslim should look for an Imaam to pray behind who is not a follower of innovation, because that will increase his reward and is farther removed from evil. Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 7/353 May Almighty Allaah accept our prayer as an act of worship. |

AlBaqir:Me and you don't practice the same religion in the first place Mr. Shia. Surah Al-Kafiroon, Verse 6: لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ "To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)." (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Empiree:@bolded see how you contradict yourself!!! It's right to attribute oneself to baseless sufiyyah but it's wrong to attribute oneself to the righteous predecessors of this ummah. It's right to call oneself Sufi, shaziliy, solaty, adaby etc which cannot be traced back to the Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam and his companions but it's wrong to attribute oneself to the righteous predecessors i.e salaf of the ummah. So, tell me who else has the right to be followed and attributed to than the righteous predecessors. Salaf Solih. Such is Allah, your Lord in truth. So after the truth, what else can there be, save error? How then are you turned away? (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Allaah Has Named us "Muslims," So Why call ourselves "Salafi"? This doubt was very beautifully answered by Imaam al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) in his discussion with someone on this subject, recorded on the cassette entitled "I am Salafi." Here is a presentation of the vital parts of it: Shaikh al-Albaanee: "When it is said to you, 'What is your madhhab', what is your reply?" Questioner: "A Muslim." Shaikh al-Albaanee: "This is not sufficient!" Questioner: "Allaah has named us Muslims" and he recited the saying of Allaah Most High, "He is the one who has called you Muslims beforehand." (al-Hajj 22:78) Shaikh al-Albaanee: "This would be a correct answer if we were in the very first times (of Islaam) before the sects had appeared and spread. But if we were to ask, now, any Muslim from any of these sects with which we differ on account of 'aqeedah, his answer would not be any different to this word. All of them - the Shi'ite Rafidi, the Khaariji, the Nusayri Alawi - would say, "I am a Muslim." Hence, this is not sufficient in these days." Questioner: "In that case I say, I am a Muslim upon the Book and the Sunnah." Shaikh al-Albaanee: "This is not sufficient either." Questioner: "Why?" Shaikh al-Albaanee: "Do you find any of those whom we have just mentioned by way of example saying, 'I am a Muslim who is not upon the Book and the Sunnah?" Who is the one who says, 'I am not upon the Book and the Sunnah?'" [At this point, the Shaikh began explaining in detail the importance of being upon the Book and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf us-Saalih (righteous predecessors).] Questioner: "In that case, I am a Muslim upon the Book and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf us-Saalih." Shaikh al-Albaanee: "When a person asks you about your madhhab, is this what you will say to him?" Questioner: "Yes". Shaikh al-Albaanee: "What is your view that we shorten this phrase in the language, since the best words are those that are few but indicate the desired intent, so we say, 'Salafi'?" End of quotation of transcript. ......... Hence, the point is that naming with "Muslim" or "Sunni" is not enough, since everyone will claim that - even the Sufi and the Kharijee and the Ikhwani and the Tableeghi. And Shaikh emphasized the importance of the truth being distinguished from the falsehood. Shaikh al-Albaanee mentioned that our 'aqidah and manhaj must be taken from the Salaf us-Salih (Prophet and his companions, the tabi'een, and the tabi tabi'een) and not from the various sects and groups whose understandings are based upon those of their mentors and leaders, or their own opinion. Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk. |

AllstarZ:Allahu Akbar. My brother you are right. And some deliberately twist it themselves to something else not linkable to the original name. eg Sulaiman slimy, Saheed seedorf etc. # If this is done to hide their Islam or dogmatic following of a celebrity especially a Kafir celebrity then this is a big blow to their eeman. # But if it's done for 'tushing up' then I don't know the ruling but it is definitely better to keep the proper name. Allah knows best. |
babylolaroy:True talk. |
Plaitex:I don't know. It's better to contact the people of knowledge regarding it. But I will advise that one refrains from it till he is sure of its permimissibility because whoever refrains from doubtful matters has preserved his Deen and honour as we know from the hadith of Ibn Bashir. Allah knows best |
Talkingboy:# I'm not in a good position to answer that question. Probably you should call the people of knowledge like Dr Sharaf, Sheikh Hajia, Sheikh Najmuddeen Sulaiman, Ustadh Amubieya etc. # You should have asked in the Islam for Muslim section. It's not good to derail threads # I'm flattered with the title you gave me but I'm not the person you are thinking. Allah bears witness to my lack of knowledge and uprightness. |
true2god:Lifting texts without studying the conditions that surround them and the circumstances in which they are to be applied. I don't know a better example for 'compounded ignorance' than this! |
Brothers Stop wearing Gold ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه narrated that the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ took a piece of silk in his right hand and some gold in his left, then he said: “These two are haraam (forbidden) for the men of my umm'ah.” [Abu Dawood (4057), al-Nasaa’i (5144) and Ibn Maajah (3595), Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood]. Al-Nawawi رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه said in Sharh Muslim (14/32): With regard to gold rings, they are haraam (forbidden) for men according to scholarly consensus. The same applies if they are part gold and part silver. Our companions said: If the top of the ring is gold or if it is lightly plated with gold, it is haraam, because of the general meaning of the hadeeth concerning silk and gold, “These two are haraam for the males of my umm'ah and halal for the females.” |

proudkafir:Seems you are super impressed by the dung you stained the thread with. All what you have said doesn't weigh a chick feather. Only a slowpoke like you with a capsized intellect will be intrigued by your crap. Anyway, I have a life, wasting my time by trying to teach a pig how to sign is not my hubby ![]() Still thinking of who is more evil, Hitler or Mohammed.Once again, you have displayed your mental deprivation and dogmatic following of the west. Maybe you are just one of those 'fishes of the well'. Go in history and read about villains you will see your Christian cliqs far outclassing Mr. Hitler. |
Empiree:You are really funny and interesting bro. You have labelled me as Mr. Condemn ![]() But you should understand that the law of Allah has to be explained and clarified even if it's bitter. I'm not saying its bad to see the messenger in the dream but the problem is seeking such dream. Seeing the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam in a dream is a good sign but only the people of sunnah (especially scholars of hadith like Imam Bukharee and Ibn Jareer Tobariyy etc) who follow his sunnah strictly have been blessed with it. # The pious predecessors were not known to be seeking such rather they followed the sunnah unconditionally. # The Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam didn't ask us to seek it and didn't give us any prayer to enable us get such dream # Yes, Shaitan cannot take the image of the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam but how sure are you that it's not someone else calling himself the messenger alyhissolaat. # So, I implore my brother to focus on following the sunnah strictly. That is the only guaranteed way to see the real Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam in a dream. (And someone even said seeing the messenger in a dream signifies a 'status'. Please what's the evidence for that.?Because the companions and those who followed them were not known with this i.e seeking to see the messenger in a dream especially by way of special dhikr. # The evil this kind of thing can lead to are many. One major of them is that it will open the gate for misguidance such that people will seek to add and remove from the shariah with the excuse that it is the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam who came to them in their dream and asked them to do that. This is very common among Sufi sheikhs, they say Allah has asked them not to observe Solah again, or the prohibition of alcohol has been raised from them or they have been allowed to marry more than four wives etc. One of their arguments for this is that they saw the messenger in a dream just like the man who innovated the solatul fathi claimed. |
Empiree:The entertainment industry and the church are the two worst institutions in this country. Every other evil follows their lead |
Empiree:Thanks bro, but; # I said what I said because I'm aware of the state of the Muslims in the country. You remember how people prostrated to some pictures in Ikorodu. # Prostration is not the only act of worship, there are many acts of worship other than prostration e. g prayer, reliance, fear, hope, seeking help, seeking refuge, swearing, seeking barakah (blessings) etc. Giving any of the above to other than Allah is tantamount to disbelief. # However, I hope it's not shirk they are practicing there. May Allah strengthen Tawheed (pure monotheism) and it's people in our country and every other place, and may he quench the fire of Shirk (polytheism and idolatry) in our country and around the world. |
true2god:A spectacular display of ignorance and sentiment |
carinmom:Aameen |
malvisguy212:# No insults please. # Mosques don't disturb. We are discussing nuisance in public transport. We are not yet talking about the 'noise' the places of worship create As far as I know, Muslims don't practice preaching in public transports. If anyone does it, I can comfortably declare to you that it's not right. |
Scatterscatter:And that God is one not multiple, all acts of worship should be directed to him alone without any partner. |
malvisguy212:I'm not an atheist. I'm a Muslim. please explain the hypocrisy in my statement. |
And what does seeing the messenger add to you?! Different innovation everyday. Only Allah we seek refuge with from the deception(s) of shaytan |
If this is true then it's a very unsurprising but highly disappointing Ignorance of a high order. #The messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam has died long ago. #Its just one foot # doesn't resemble a foot # Even if it's true, it shouldn't be worshipped Worst thing is if you get there and try to stop them from this act of idolatry they label you as Wahhabi. Same ignorance that made people prostrate to pictures, graves and even those alive. Shaytan has painted idolatry to the people under the guise of honour and made it seem like monotheism. Just has he painted the worship of Jesus to the Christians till they find Jesus closer to their tongue than the name of God at the time of distress and calamity. I'm free from this act. |
