Reprudencia Sonkey is a model who has an agency that strives to bring aspiring African and African American models to the European and American runways. So far, her agency has taken more than 20 models from Africa to the USA for trials, including 3 Nigerian female models and 1 male.

She's currently contesting to win the crown of the best African model in the United States and the crown will go a long way in opening doors for her agency to further its cause. Please vote for Reprudencia Sonkey in the Miss Africa United States Modelling Contest: http://poll.pollcode.com/IPF2

you can only vote once daily, but please, try to vote daily. Everyday.

If you are a model and would like to be considered for a modelling trial in the USA, then forward your stats and professional photos to me: acenex@yahoo.com so I can forward them to her for consideration.

Politics › Re: Dimeji Bankole Doesn't Know Mo Ibrahim! by nex(m): 8:50am On Nov 06, 2009
Mo Ibrahim should go and fly a kite round the entire perimeter of Sudan. When people were suffering and dying in Darfur, what did Mo do? In his country he was watching poor Sudanese suffer and die in his own homeland yet he comes out and wants to "dash" Presidents $5 million each. He should shut up. He has done enough for Africa already. He used his Celtel to buy up several thriving GSM companies around Africa and then sold us out to the Arabs.

There's nothing humanitarian about him. The man even declared recently that he won't be giving out the $5 million because no one will win the prize. Instead make the fool talk say recession no gree am part with that kain.

@Shege dan iska

I'm also just expressing my freedom of speech. You're a blasted slowpoke who will have no idea the difference between freedom of speech and sedition till the day you find yourself in jail.

I'm very sorry for your mother and father because they are both imbeciles as I know that only in the land of imbeciles can a fool be king. So since Yar'Adua is a fool and he's ruling the lives of your parents, then your father and your philandering mother are imbeciles (of course that makes me wonder what you are, being the offspring of two imbeciles).

Anyway, like I said before, I'm just expressing my freedom of speech.

We are happy to know that the man has been freed.

The journalist who wrote the first piece is quite unbias.

That pointblank news though is just full of crap!
Politics › Re: Nigerian Revolutional Party- NRP Has 20,000 Vacancies Nation-Wide Join Now by nex(m): 2:54pm On Nov 05, 2009
Okay, is it that when the Nigerian Revolutionary Party comes into power, the will let the people of Nigeria embark on a much needed revolution to cleanse out the those that have always needed to be cleansed out. I love the idea of the party, but what is the ULTIMATE aim? To "capture" power or to start the Revolution?
Politics › Re: Africa May Split - In A Few Days! by nex(m): 2:39pm On Nov 05, 2009
Atalay is drunk. So this split is about to happen in a few days and himself and colleagues are there to take measurements?

Bloody stooge! By the way, Africa did not split from America because Africa is still about in the same location. It was America that split and drifted away from Africa. The kind of misinformation already being spread by this group, it just goes to show their ignorance.

So first the USA says Nigeria will soon split up, now USA scientists claim that Africa as a whole will split up volcanically. I hail O!
Politics › Re: The Death Penalty Is The Only Way Out For Nigeria! by nex(m): 1:05pm On Nov 05, 2009
I've always believed people should not be allowed to spend extended periods of time under government care as punishment for crimes they commit.

Originally, jail was built as a temporary place to keep criminals before they are sentenced and punished. Punishment would either be fines, banishment, flagellation, mutilation or death. So everybody in jail at that time were either awaiting trial or awaiting punishment. However, along the line, warders began to write reports to the government on how the prisoners hated prison, and that was how jailterm became a punishment for crime.

I don't believe in jailterm as punishment for crime. It never reforms anybody. They come back even more hardened.

Bode George deserves mutilation and a fine of everything he has.
Politics › Re: What Is Deregulation? by nex(m): 12:48pm On Nov 05, 2009
Deregulation simply means allowing things run the way they naturally should, not tampering with anything, remove all forms of manipulation. Deregulation is part of democracy. Freedom of the market.
Politics › Re: Dimeji Bankole Doesn't Know Mo Ibrahim! by nex(m): 12:32pm On Nov 05, 2009
So our Honourable Speaker should be acquainted with such people as Mo Ibrahim. I only got to know Mo because I was a Celtel subscriber.
Politics › Re: Benin City - by nex(m): 12:26am On Nov 05, 2009
Benin is the only part of the world that has successfully achieved full transformation from a City to a Town. I don't believe it has ever been done and I don't believe it will ever be done.

I take exceptions though to the ignorant fellows that come here to spew whatever mangled up jargon they have conceived in their brains.

@sjeezy

if not for the fact that you were a child, I'd take things personal with you. The Portuguese first came to Benin about the 15th century after they had just gained their inference from Morroco. When the first of them arrived, them reported that the architecture and planning of Benin City was ahead of many European capital cities and the roads were far wider and better constructed than those found in Amsterdam (the pride city of Europe at that time). Now knowing Europeans, they might have exaggerated just a wee bit, but their description must've still been close to what they met on ground. How is it possible then that there could be any Portuguese influence on a city which the Portuguese claimed was far more advanced than theirs at the time of first contact? What do they teach you guys in high school these days?!

@Beaf

you believe that Benin is cursed because they sold slaves. Why then is London "blessed"? Because they bought slaves and set them free? Halleluya! And why has Washington progressed so far? Because they whipped, mutilated and drowned slaves?
Please let's stop bringing up answers that don't have bearing with anything.

And I'd like for us all to stop bringing personal fears and putting them up as points in this discussion. Do you really have facts backing the killing of humans for sacrifice in Benin? I thought it was in Isiala'Ngwa they still eat human flesh raw with boiled groundnuts?

Then you have to be sure that Benin City is the peak of immorality in this country. It has more strip clubs than Lagos? More homosexuals? More prostitutes and rapists? Please be sure before you start posting on forums or fora.
Politics › Re: Why Not Build Refineries Before Deregulation? by nex(m): 6:55pm On Nov 04, 2009
@DatNiggaAk

I'm certain you watch AIT and Read PM news where all they say is "Government is bad".

There are refineries. They are not working. Why should the federal government build more of those just because they want to deregulate? Why didn't y'all ask the government not to deregulate the Telecoms sector till 2020 when they must have set up the perfect telecoms company aside from NITEL. We would have all died by now because as we speak, NITEL lines have gone from about 500,000 in 2003 to less than 30,000 today.

All the 6,000 MW we're talking about in December will remain a fantasy as long as government wants to keep participating in Electricity production. The job of the Federal Government is to govern a federation and not to be buying and selling or producing goods and services.

Everything should be deregulated but why we won't support that is because we don't know that price fixing and regulation of price, demand and supply, fixing of ceilings and floors are all undemocratic.

Nigerians must change their attitudes and mindset before anything good can come out of this country we need to change and we need to realise that when we talk about the government not doing this, and the government not doing that, we really are talking about ourselves.

Thanks.

So because It's the USA, we should laud them for stigmatizing People Living With HIV/AIDS for only 22 years.

Okay, USA thank you for stigmatising them for only a little while, I'm sure it hasn't done too much harm. Idiots!
