This thread is very relevant because I've often asked myself questions about where Thisday was getting money from. I believe a lot of money is Rebranding cash coming from the government. I'm really shocked that several Nigerians don't know that Tony Blair and Bill Clinton make millions of dollars every year from making appearances at events and lectures. George Bush is just trying it out so that he can pretend to be earning a living in order to cover up the billions of dollars oil and war money he's stolen. He's even too dull to speak at lectures. I want to make clear though that this is the same business which CNN is currently engaged in. In fact, the only way AOL Time Warner was able to escape bankruptcy at the beginning of the decade was by supporting the Bush government at the start of the Iraqi war so to an extent, it's not a rare practice. Thisday is only rebranding indirectly. This is what real propaganda is, not that crap you hear on NTA everyday, because this is the one which is believable. |
Yay! Nairaland people, join me in celebrating my first time in five years of reporting a post to the moderator. |
Asari Dokubo is just a stupid fat child. Was he or his forefathers consulted before the Ijaw tribe was formed? Sometimes forgiveness is not good. Look at this common criminal opening his mouth to speak to a Nigerian diplomat. Who even asked him whether he was a Nigerian or not. This is the stupidity that will not allow other Nigerians leave oil money to us. These sorts of fools may start using the funds to print Ijaw passport and spend billions of dollars in hosting the Sovereign National Conference. |
"I dan show, I dan show!" "bad belle feofle, I wan make una know". "All the way from Arabia, I sneak into their Aso Rock Billa" "I say na who bi di mugu? Na who vi di maga?" "make you ask Goodlack Jonathan, Aondoakkaa, na me vi di master" "I come fut vad velle por shame aye" "I get one tory por you yea, I go dey rule and everybady dey look aye" "wheza you like am, wheza you no like am, 'Adua zan show ooOO! @mustapha01 when you say we need a "benevolent dictator", it's no different from me saying that we need a "Godly Demon". So please explain from that your silly paper, how this kindhearted usurper will operate his government over us, and how he will be chosen. |
What Oshiomhole is doing in Edo State is very demonic. Using illegal means to gradually replace anybody that is in government in Edo state and not of his party, the AC. The man is only doing this to ensure that soon, nobody will be able to question his excesses in government. Unfortunately though we will teach him a lesson that no matter the party affiliation of the Representatives, the people remain the same. As happens in Lagos where majority of the Representatives are AC, yet they still question Fashola's activities. Oshiomhole will still be impeached and thrown out of government house by the people he's trying to install because at the end of the day, We The People control the Reps. |

@Otawa when did President Obasanjo spend $60 billion to give you blackouts? |
Actually though, every regular GSM phone is capable of causing an explosion because in some areas, GSM network is supported by microwave. I don't think I need to tell you that microwave can cook food, so imagine what microwave can do to fuel. So it's not a matter of China phone because most phones, no matter the origin of the brand, are made in China these days. |
@ Original Poster I'm really touched by your story and I'm sorry for your loss because I'm a part of the government, just as I believe every other Nigerian is, and also I'm a member of the PDP and you have made up your mind that the party is responsible for giving your friend GSM or gen which killed him or something like that. Anyway, that aside, it is important that you learn to give relevant topics to your posts so that people have a clue what they're going to read up. I just got this on BB is not a definitive subject. I only came here to tell you that before I read about your friend. |
In December 2009, I bought a Sony Playstation 3 80GB for N40K. I don't know how people bring themselves to take stories from the Sun Newspaper seriously. I have personally NEVER purchased that paper with my money. I don't even take advertorials in the Sun Newspaper serious. How their facts arise, how their sources place their feelers in Obasanjo and Jonathan's secret meeting, I don't know. Same as the Tribune. How do they survive on these fictions that arise from their bedrooms at midnight when their writers are in dreamland I really can't decipher. RUBBISH STORY! |
That mass murdering Dictator George Bush! It is good he sat beside his kind of person Buhari. Bush and Blair could not possibly have anything to say in a ceremony where peace, transparency, human rights, and even free and fair elections were discussed. Even that crazed Rice keeps forgetting that the Bush regime which she worked with was brought about by fraudulent elections. They have criminal plans, they came to show solidarity to the emperor of corruption, Babangida with whom they have been having secret meetings to assure him of their military and financial support if he agrees to cooperate with them and instigate a coup. Then, tomorrow, they'll open their dirty mouths and speak of democracy. |
The way some people want to equate the benevolence of the USA Government with that of God is very alarming. Please google and find out if the USA was not the first country to use the elements of nature in warfare. When they developed rainmaking technology and caused rain in Vietnam for months, how do you think they achieved that? Do you people even believe that the rainmaking technology was not first tested in Africa or South America before it was taken to the warfront? Someone was trying to make ridicule that soon conspiracy theorists will claim the USA can make rain in the Kalahari. Of course they can! Israel too Silver Iodide and made snow in the middle east. China took same Silver Iodide and made rain to clear dust and smoke particles in the polluted atmosphere just before the Olympics. The question is why the USA is always trying to weaponize everything. Someone else says the Haiti earthquake is 1000 times the bomb dropped on Nagasaki. Well, most of the nuclear bombs today are thousands of times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Japan. So? This is the problem I always face everytime I visit Nairaland. Not ignorance from the ignorant, but ignorance among the educated and well travelled. Are people here trying to say that they first thought of an earthquake weapon before the US military thought of developing it? The Native Americans have been using rainmaking technology for hundreds of years, but the moment that US researchers laid hands on it, it was used as a weapon on Vietnam. People are asking what there is to gain? When the USA tested the specific effects of nuclear fallouts on the people of the Marshall Islands, what did they stand to gain? Was it oil or clay or whatever resource? No! To find a victim on whom to test a multi-trillion dollar research weapon is enough to be gained. When the US Military tested the effects of nuclear fallouts alone on the Marshall Islands, was it because of the clay there? Or because of the oil? Or simply because such a weapon just required guinea pigs in a third world country? The USA will always have standby troops and good response time for another country, but when it's Louisiana or New Orleans, that's when they'll be handicapped and that's when they'll spend days and weeks and months trying to get aid through, and that's when their FEMA will be lost as to what to do, that's when the hand of the presidency would be slow to sign. Now we hear that the USS Carl Vinson was already in Haiti within hours to start carrying out nuclear desalination of water. Feralination indeed! Or cleaning up any evidence? The eagerness of the USA in Haiti is nothing more than cleaning up the evidence and gathering specific onsite experiment results. Finito! |
@babapupa his insults I can even tolerate. What I can't stand are his lies. How can someone just wake up and say I've been exposed to be a tribalist and lie that I was calling for the extermination of a tribe when I've never even conceived of such a thing? |
@Afam So because you find yourself in a fix whereby you cannot answer relevant questions put forward, you have now shed your madness and resorted to reason. Your tactic will not work. I want you to quote me where I wished innocent Ibos death, or where I cast aspersions on the Ibos. Please quote me and show the whole world to see or apologise and admit to everyone on this thread that you have been lying. Only the truth shall set you free and not this moment of gentility after hours of madness. The truth! And if you cannot tell us the reason why Ojukwu was growing fat while all the other Ibos where suffering starvation under the blockade, then tell me you're ignorant of it, or tell me maybe it was the divine air he was breathing which his father left for him then I'll make it my duty to tell you the truth that Ojukwu was enjoying sumptuous meals while men, women, children and babies were dying of starvation. Do you even know that more Ibos were killed by Ojukwu's starvation spree than were shot or bombed by the Federal Government? Ojukwu killed more Ibo civilians than the Federal Government killed Biafran soldiers. That was Ojukwu's real plan. Before the war, he had contracted various pressmen in Europe who would disseminate the images which he planned to create of the Ibos. He knew that Gowon was malleable, but he didn't know that there was a limit to it. Ojukwu would have never attempted that war if Murtala Muhammed had been Head of State because he knows what would have happened. Then ignoramuses like you will come here decades later and try to eulogise a cowardly self fulfilling power hungry idiot and you don't want us to tell the truth yet now that the truth is coming to you, you think you can feign civility. When did God give you the almighty right to decide when discussions start and end? Please, if you can't stand the heat, just get the hell out the kitchen. |
I'm truly alarmed to realize that in this day and age, educated adults still believe that Ojukwu used his family's wealth to sponsor a war against Nigeria! So he paid MSF to import weapons with his father's wealth? Do you people even believe that the richest man in the world can wage war against Nigeria and win? What rubbish talk that a man's father was rich and so he waged war against Nigeria. All these childhood legends and propaganda is part of what is blocking their brains from seeing the truth. The French Government and Multi National Companies in France such as total and SCOA who wanted to take away a large chunk of the Nigerian economy from the British Government, and its companies like Shell and UAC. You people keep believing that this man came to defend? Really? I tell you that if Ojukwu had succeeded in severing the South East and South South, he would have not stopped ruling till today and would have properly groomed his child to take over the kingship. Some morons also keep arguing that the South West betrayed Ojukwu. Pray tell, how? Can you betray someone who you had no pact with? They don't want to admit that the man who betrayed them was Ojukwu. Who deceived you that you could win this war? Who deceived you that the "vandals" were coming to exterminate you all? Who deceived you that he was going out to get a solution meanwhile he was escaping to save only his own scalp? Who was growing fat when the whole population of Ibos had turned bones under the weight of hunger and starvation? Search yourselves and accept the truth. We are forgetting to mention that this same Ojukwu attacked the Mid West region which was totally neutral in that war. So who really is the coward here? Unable to handle a clear and certain enemy all around him, yet adequately armed and prepared to attack and kill the innocent and harmless just to further deceive his people that he was gaining ground. @Afam how can you boldly claim that people are lying against you when spread lies against others at will? It's just karma. And don't forget my constant question which you keep avoiding. WHY WAS OJUKWU GAINING WEIGHT WHEN OTHER IBOS WERE DYING OF STARVATION DURING THE BLOCKADE? |
Well, I was wondering how a President can "allocate" an oil bloc to a citizen and it will rightfully go to such a person, till I remembered that it was the same way the President allocated plots of land to footballers and nobody talked. Very soon, dem go soon allocate the full country to Turai sef. |
@Afam I've been off Nairaland for a while and I really don't know what all y'all have been up to, but seriously, one thing I knew you for was truth. How can you just come out in grand propaganda style and accuse me of celebrating the killing of innocent citizens? What have they done to me? Please if this has become your discussion style, then you mind your business and let me mind mine. If anybody is still in doubt that Ojukwu is a sly crook, how can a man who never believed in the existence of a nation keep trying his luck at the seat of power? All Ojukwu wants is supreme power in an oil producing state and the only means through which he felt he could get it initially was by secession, wasting the lives of more than a million Nigerians. There's no man in this country that has been so wicked and so unrepentant because since he found out that violence could not work, he has resorted to elections. Even Hitler did better by taking his own life when he had wasted those of millions of people. He didn't run away, he didn't claim that he was going to find a solution outside. He joined those whose lives he spent. My simple question to you Afam and the rest of you all Ojukwu loyalists is simple: How come Ojukwu remained so fat when we were seeing pictures of Somali-ish babies and bony soldiers? How? Could it be that he was eating good and well? Licking milk and choice honey when your fathers where eating cyanide cassava in the field. Ojukwu should be hanged publicly for war crimes he committed against the Ibos and this should be done before he luckily dies a natural death. |
@Afam where did I ever support the massacre of innocent Ibos? Please, copy and paste. By the way, can you attempt to give an answer as to why Ojukwu was so chubby during the blockade while everybody else was starving to death? Don't tell me you failed to notice that. |
In the world we live in today, I'm suprised that there should even be children that do not know that Ojukwu is among the top 10 cowards that ever lived. I believe it is something that should be brought into our primary school curriculum so that children can read the exact manner in which that coward set up his own people for destruction, then fled the country. Has anybody ever noticed how Ojukwu remained fat while the starvation was going on in Biafra? How would he stop the starvation when he was not feeling its pinch? A man like Mahatma Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, or even Mallam Aminu Kano would have gone on hunger strike for as long as his people were being starved and it would have reflected on the outlook that they too were starving. However, in the case of that bloody coward Ojukwu, he was even getting fatter and his tummy extending out of fullness. I have no problem with Ibos, but as long as most are not ready and willing to renounce that cowardly trickster and sadist known as Odimegwu Ojukwu, then they are not ready to take their rightful place among the citizens of the world. |
Anybody that doubts the use of weapons mimicking nature in the future of non-confrontational warfare is very childish. So you all haven't wondered why all the frequent visits by USA Naval ships to the Apapa Port lately. I'm sorry for all of you. |
We should begin to see the true face of our enemy. Meeting with IBB to do what? What else is a meeting with IBB for besides starting another everlasting series of coups? Bastards! |
From the depth of their subconscious is where: "Obasanjo Apologises To Nigerians". All Nigerian journalists have mistaken freedom of the press for licence to lie. |
If anybody feels Nigeria should be commended for donating $1 million to Haiti, that person is not okay. Wyclef Jean who's a citizen of Haiti and a strong believer in Nigeria has personally donated approximately $5 million. The government of Venezuela has contributed a lot, but the fuel they've provided to Haiti for transport of aid workers and victims is currently standing at $20 million. Nigeria has to begin to realise that we are responsible for all Africans and people of African origin. Whether African Americans, Jamaicans or Haitians. That is how you Great country and not by those silly rebranding campaigns. Haitians have suffered over the past couple of decades because they have no country to look up to. The USA has no concern being there because it's of no benefit to them except for good PR. And nobody needs to commend Nigeria for doing anything before we realise we've done something. We have our own NTA International. Have they commended the UK? Abeg, we've not done anything commendable and even when we do, we don't need the British or their propaganda machine to commend us. |

Yes we do laugh at them because seriously, it's very funny when a girl who's not fine is forming. Forming for what? Sometimes though, forming helps ugly girls because some fine boys start thinking that for the ugly chick to be forming, there really must be something about her. It works for them sometimes. |
Yoruba leaders are always floating this and floating that, but when shit hits the fan, they're the first to turn tail and betray. They remember to cut across religion, social and political strata, but they refuse to cut across tribe. Rubbish! They should stop using that poor old woman for their selfish agenda. |
