doshbass: I do not see any point of him being a lecturer for practical music, Can he read Music? It makes sense for him to come once in a while and give students lecture in his style of music and he's experience in the world music environment.
I do not consider him as a professional Musician, To be a music Teacher, you have to be able to read and play any music from a score sheet. Can KSA do this? if he can the I support his appoitment as a lecturer, if not he should be a seasoned guest lecturer
don't get me wrong he is a legend and a good artist and performer and he's one of the best in JUJU music |

Car Talk › Re: Why Are Very Little Demand For Pick-up Trucks Here? by Nezan(m): 5:11pm On Jun 06, 2009 |
promise72: May be in naija. Trucks these days are so comfortable you will forget its a truck. The Tundra, Tacomas etc. Leather, DVD, u name it. And you can haul a lot at the back too. Kinda like the best of both worlds yeah, I know, but I think this post explains everything I said: trisurface: now U guys tell me? this is what i think- 1.So few trucks come in because Even stateside, Pickups are not changed with the frequency of salons & so fewer are available for trade ins 2. Europe, where a good number of our cars come from is not home to many INDIGENOUS truck firms. Though Toyota & Nissan have plants there, their cars are not covered by Encouraging trade in policies that countries like Germany offer home bred vehicle firms. 3.Owning a pickup in Nigeria costs more than the Average salon. Most pickups are perceived as for commercial purposes & require Hackney permitS, Revenue stickers etc before use here. all this can set you back 30k in a year. the dealers know this and detail their imports accordingly. 4. Few Pickups are marketed as sexily as cars. therefore, you rarely dream of a pickup when making a car choice.
Furthermore, anyone who has a Clean Lagos used pickup for between 400-550k can reach me at my e mail address-rnvtia@yahoo.com. Specs- reasonable mileage Cleaness 1&half or Double cabin preferred-send info on singles if clean enough Ac Auxillary gear. |

Politics › Re: Can The North Survive Without The Niger-delta Oil? by Nezan(m): 1:44pm On Jun 05, 2009 |
Dede1: Northern region of Nigeria would survive without crude oil from the Ijo land. The so-called “Niger Delta” is ridiculous smokes scream being used by many fools claiming Niger Delta while they are actually inhabitants of different delta formed by rivers other than Niger, Benue, Imo, Urasi, Anambra and Utamiri.
Please being informed that Oloibiri is not the first place crude oil was found in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, Oloibiri is third spot crude oil was struck in 1956 after two other places in 1951 and 1953 all in the then eastern region of Nigeria.
The northern region has every right to the crude oil being drilled in the jungle called Nigeria. Anybody who knew the history of Nigeria should realize that northern region contributed immensely to the crude oil development in the jungle called Nigeria.
I hate to see the people who had wanted zero development in crude oil sector in Nigeria enjoying the resources from crude oil sector today. true talk, bro,,,,, |
