I don't just feel sorry for him, I feel really really sorry for him. It would be difficult to justify why I feel sorry for him but I do feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for people like him who have been brainwashed by the impure and slavish aspects of organized religion. I also feel sorry for him because I know the acts of terrorism he'll face in the US anti-terror detention. I feel sorry for him.

Sports / Re: Obafemi Martins Risks Financial Ruin by nguage(m): 6:00pm On Nov 21, 2009
Don't listen to this Chris Nathaniel guy EVER. He used Martins when his little consortium wanted to buy Newcastle. And now that things are done, he wants to spoil the poor boy's image.

“I was busy playing football and did not go to them and ask for my money [owed to me by Newcastle.]”

[Obafemi Martins] said Chris Nathaniel, director of NVA, then came into his life and said he would get the money for him.

See the way Chris Nathaniel crawled into the Obafemi's life like a typical devil. Pretending like a friend when all he wanted was to line his own pocket up.

This man is also the guy indirectly ruining Nigerian football, he is Amodu's negotiator and image maker.

How do you ask a man for $420,000 right after his mother's death?
Sports / Re: Obafemi Martins Risks Financial Ruin by nguage(m): 2:52pm On Nov 21, 2009
Shame on Chris Nathaniel of NVA management. He kept exploiting the poor boy for "representation."  Asking for $420,000 because he announced to the media when Oba's mother died.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

na2day?:

yeah we rather be losers with Jesus, the son of the most High God, while u run along and serve your idol allah

This is what I don't understand about organized religion. How about those who never heard about Islam? If we all serve one divine infinite being, what does it matter if you call him X and I call him Y? What does it matter if you follow his servant A and I follow his servant B? Religion is man's attempt to make spirituality more accesible, the only thing that matters is that we all do things that are in agreement with the Infinite ONE, love and truth. How is it love to declare that anyone who isn't a follower of what you follow is hellbound?!?!
Fashion / Re: What Do Women Gain By Exposing Their Bodies? by nguage(m): 5:59am On Nov 01, 2009
It is wrong to speak of it as "exposing their bodies" because many of them don't see it that way. To many women, it is mostly about fashion and the times. A time when we - men and women - are almost slaves to our sexualities and sexual desires. To put all of the blame on women is wrong. Maybe you should also ask: Why do men love it when women expose their body?
Religion / Re: Ifa Philosophy by nguage(m): 5:38am On Oct 31, 2009
It would be hard and almost unethical to write a book because it's  deliberately an oral tradition. Or maybe the reason why it's an oral tradition is because Yoruba has not always been a written language.

If Christianity and modernism did not end up coming to Africa, maybe there would be a natural and native writing system and  these things would get written. But every religion goes through a phase from oral recitations to been written and available to selected individuals and finally the written versions are made available to every one who wants it. This natural cycle has been broken already.

It can also be argued that the cycle isn't natural but a result of what's available at every point: When there's no writing system, teachings are orally transferred. When there's a writing system, few have the ability to write in the beginning and it's teachings are available to few. When. The writing system gets popular, teachings are widely available in their written forms.

To write or not to write?

If she's a good person, she'll stay around to give you what's good for you - emotional support. And I understand people make stupid decisions , we all do. The difference between you and other posters castigating you is that yours is almost irreversible. I will keep you in my prayers.

Are you serious? Do  you score every time you go on the attack?

Argentina 1 - 0 Honduras. How about that? In fact they could have won that game if not for the stingy striker from Honduras.

I'm not saying 1 goal is bad brother, I'm saying if you attack for 90 minutes nonstop, you should have at least 2 goals.

Religion / Re: Warning ! Stop Abusing Men Of God,pastors ! by nguage(m): 6:14pm On Oct 18, 2009
False prophets. These so called men of God too will get rewarded for the things they do. I think they're already getting rewarded, the publicity from the international media would make the Nigerian government very strict on them. Now they'll live in constant fear - fear of child witches, fear of the media, fear of the government's axe.
Religion / Re: Warning ! Stop Abusing Men Of God,pastors ! by nguage(m): 6:08pm On Oct 18, 2009
No one would ever get punished for "abusing" a man of God, people get punished for being unkind in words and thoughts to people - man of God or not. There is no special punishment because it's a man of God.

And to clarify, what's punishment? People are simply left alone and are unguarded by the spirit when they do things that contradict the spirit, not necessarily thrown in front of a car by the spirit. When unguarded by the spirit, bad things would happen to the individual.
Family / Re: I Feel Very Let Down By My Lady Friend by nguage(m): 5:58pm On Oct 18, 2009
When you help, help for the sake of helping. Don't bother yourself with "thank yous" and "well dones." Thank yous will never add a nanometer to your stature. It doesn't matter if the beggar buys crack with your money, just follow your heart. God who sees secret things would pay you back openly.

APOLOGY! APOLOGY!!APOLOGY!!!

To all forumnites/Stanley Okoro.

Recall my comments on the article ''Heartland Stanley Okoro drafted to the eaglets? I've mistaken Stanley Okoro for Stanley Okoronkwo (formerly with Rangers). Please I don't know Stanley Okoro or his age. I was actually referring to Stanley Okoronkwo who I know very well. May God forgive me for this serious error, which is a consequence of my love for my country and the desire to see us develop real U17 players into world-beaters in the nearest future. Please, do me a favour, reach out to whoever you had given this wrong information to say it was WRONG. Stanley OKORO please accept my apology.

This is from the kickoff website, the same guy.

Why is this news.

It may not be news to you because you see chewing stick vendors who build houses and send their children to school everyday, or it isn't news to you because it doesn't involve kidnappers and guns. But you should realise that you aren't at the center of the world and what's not news to you is news to other people.

Peace.

Yeah, it really sucks that 5 goals came from 5 different players. But I hear Ighalo is just off-form, maybe he'll hit it right soon. We also miss the guy in braids, he played in the African U-20 tournament.
Did Rabiu Ibrahim play well today? How was the combination in midfield between Rabiu and the number 4 guy?
Sports / Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by nguage(m): 12:55am On Sep 30, 2009
I like Siasia as much as the next Nigerian but sometimes his actions are unexplainable. I thought Rabiu Ibrahim was injured, turns out he wasn't. How are we sure that the first choice GK, Ajiboye, is truly injured. Remember the olympics finals, Ogbuke sat on the bench all through the game. When Nigerians complained, Siasia said, "Oh, he was injured." How come he got injured so suddenly?

The lack of a clinical finisher in the team is another puzzling fact. What about Chrisantus or even Worgu? The strikers in our team right now, all of them, are more like wingers and assistant strikers. So, there, we went to an international tournament without a goal scorer. It has happened in the past but we always have very good wingers and half-way strikers to make up for the lack of a goal poacher. This time, average wingers.

Everything that can go wrong is going wrong with the country. Our boys tackle, penalty or red card. The Spaniards get a chance, they score.

So not arranging travel documents for UDOH before the training tour in spain is now SIASIA'S  fault, abi?

NO! But Udoh could have gotten his papers right withing 3-4 days and  missing 3-4 days of training tour isn't enough reason to drop one of the best players on your side. BTW Sone Aluko missed more than that with all his shuttling from Scotland to Spain.
