To be fair, there is nothing wrong with being proud/arrogant about one's country status/way of doing things. But when the same arrogant/proud people are notoriously poor, it can get one annoyed and bothered about what makes such people behave in such a manner. Europeans on social media do tackle Americans for the same attitude and point out their failures but both parties can banter between themselves because they are rich. Not a citizen of a futuristic Afghanistan posting crime stats about SA. A Singaporean can mock the US for being unsafe but a Nigerian should not try the same.
Bitter truth

Bear in mind also we grow different crops in SA than West Africa, for cultural and climatic reasons. So some Nigerian crops won't flourish in SA.

That's cool actually cool. Have u started looking for land, coz I think there are limitations to foreign ownership or leasing of land in SA. Have u researched that well?
Yea, I saw something like that, I think that's another issue on it's own

Free State, North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces are great for that.

Yes, to live in. But there are no farms in the suburbs - unless you wanna start a small backyard operation.

Suburbs have a lot of rules though (by-laws) so others might object to a backyard farming operation.

So how big is your operation gonna be?
Yea, I won't mind living in a safer place while the farm is being run elsewhere.
For the operation: starting from medium to grow with time

All our 9 provinces are good for farming except Gauteng (Johannesburg area). What do u wanna farm coz some provinces specialise in certain crops.
Grains

1. Townships are poor and middle class black/coloured/Indian areas. You can find proper areas or slums made up of shacks.

2. Downtown/CBD is the inner city - where the tall buildings are. But African businesses tend to be around the less fancy areas riddled with social problems like overcrowding, crime and grime. There are also xenophobic tensions.

3. Suburbs are the multiracial residential areas (former white areas). They range in standards as others are cheaper to live in than others.
Suburbs will be safer right?

Ok, we always welcome legit businesses and investment. So what do u mean by living among the locals - as in the townships or downtown, and not the suburbs?

Generally, West Africans don't stay in townships because of the language and cultural barriers, you're definitely gonna stick out (although there are also fancy townships). West Africans tend to live downtown or in the suburbs. Downtown (or the CBD as we call it here) can be volatile but there's safety in numbers (for Nigerians). But that's always where there are a lot of xenophobic tensions.

So I would advise u open a business in the cheaper suburbs. Are u thinking of Cape Town and what type of business are u looking at?
Can you plz explain what you mean by township, downtown and suburbs

It's farming business, you know a farm will have to be in a rural place, that's my concern

Technically, yes - Sothos are from Lesotho. But SA also has indigenous Sothos mostly concentrated in the Free State province (bordering Lesotho). There are actually millions more SA Sothos than Basotho in Lesotho.

Lesotho has 2 million people. SA has 7 million Sothos.

But I'm Sotho/Tswana (as in Botswana). But same thing applies there too. More Tswanas in SA than Botswana.
This is complicated shocked

Ok, hit me!
I've plans on relocating to an African country to start a biz and SA was the best option after my research but I'm afraid I might have my head rolling on the floor if there's another xenophobic attack because I might have to live among locals due to high cost of living in places like cape town.
So what do you think, am I being paranoid?

She got a soft mind, so people like her always learn the hard way to harden their mind, that is the only way she can change. I don't know why we blacks like taking advantage of good people, reason everyone is bad in this country. When u are good, they see u as a f00l. Quite sad.
You've spoken the truth, if you've got a soft/good mind, to an average Nigerian, you're a fool.

A lot of people dont appreciate when they are given gold. Some people are narrow minded...some refuse to think out-of-the-box. This guy has released in his ebook all you need to use your brain. I was shocked at the powerful content of the ebook. Every Nigerian deserves to read that gaddamn book. That book has the power to take half of Nigeria's population out of poverty.

This guyz ebook is a gold for Nigerians, I can testify to it- I bought the book. His ebook kept me glued in a chair for over an hour in a stretch- I was reading non-stop...amazed at how someone in Nigeria can release such a powerful idea that alot of people want to hide (and know only themselves).

This guyz ebook saves you years of trial an error. He takes you right past through to the main things. With his ebook, I dont see what should stop anybody ever again in Nigeria from doing and succeeding in online business. He has done the thinking for you, he has done the errors for you.

This guy is a blessing from heaven...this guy is gold...this guy is more of what Nigerians need...this guy is more than a master....this guy has love in his heart (through love indeed....i can vouch for this guy, over and over and over again.)

So please dont come hear to make comment and say "he is selling books of 2000naira". How much did you expect the book to be before. The book is worth over 50,000naira. If he tells you to pay 50k, can you pay it? How much is Facebook advert? $5 (what will Zuckberg do with $5?).

You should understand that he has created something of value out of a loving heart, he definitly should get some credit or reward. He is simply making money from doing what he loves. So why the side talk?

He is simply practicing what he preach- he is making money online. Something you can not do, something you dont know how to do...and he is willing to teach you for just 2000naira and you are complaining and thinking he wants to extort from you- because he ask you to pay him what he rightly deserves (absolutely crazy kind of thinking). But you will still be the same person to go to Night Clubs and spend 20,000naira in one night (invest in the right things). Some people just sit and watch success pass them by and later the begin to wonder why they are poor.

Please, I have said enough. If you are not interested in online means of earning a living, please, and please do not discourage others from taking a right step.

No hard feelings...just trying to correct you.
I sent you a mail bro

Ghana, Gabon and Senegal are like 4 times more expensive than Nigeria. You need a very high income to survive in Ghana or na starvation levels you dey look likewise Gabon and Senegal. The only cheap place on that list seems to be Kenya at least from my research online but Ghana and Gabon I don personally go I wouldnt advise anyone to try it.
Do you have an idea on Uganda?
