That was a big disrespect to any man let alone a President.
Proposing to marry on Twitter, most irresponsible behaviour.

Now imagine the name Bar Baric. Which man will like that kind of son in law ? That dude even gave a more damaging remark, smh.

its nothing serious. He was just jokingly expressing his admiration for the girl.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in what he did

Girl Dies After "Miracle" Prophet Puts Big Speaker On Top Of Her Body.See Photos

In a bid to perform miracle and demonstrate what he can do, a South African pastor has reportedly caused the death of a young girl after putting a heavy speaker on her...According to reports making the rounds on South Africa's social media, the girl died due to internal injuries she sustained...

Read the full story according to TheSouthernDaily;

Congregates of Mount Zion General Assembly went home with heads down this week Sunday after a failed demonstration of power by the church pastor when a girl fainted after he put a very big and heavy speaker on top of her, promising her that she would not feel pain. The woman has now died from internal injuries caused to her lungs.

Pastor Lethebo Rabalango had organised a night of worship at his church in Polokwane where he was teaching about demonstration of power in which he emphasised that if Jesus walked on water, he too could do anything with faith.

It is on this point that he invited a girl from the praise team and asked her to lie down. He then ordered Ushers to carry a big speaker and put on her stomach saying the weight would not harm her. As if it was not enough, he climbed on top of the speaker, adding pressure to suffocate the girl who remained quite for she had already passed out.

After seating on top of the speaker which was still on the girl’s stomach for close 5 minutes, he got up and ordered removal of the speaker, but the girl could not rise because she had fainted. It took some elders giving her first aid treatment that she came back but complained of a broken rib. She was then taken to hospital.

However, the pastor blamed the girl and accused her of having little faith for she could not withstand a very simple task. Pastor Lethabo can be accessed via his facebook Account.

@ d bolded above. Since the girl has little faith. He that has plenty should let them do it on him

I.m a window phone user, I started using windows phone right from Lumia 520 when the phone was newly launched , then I upgraded to Lumia 720 (my best camera phone)now I.m currently using Lumia 640xl.

When my friends sees me with windows phone, they will start yabbing me that I dey try oooo dey use that kind phone, say they can't use it even if na dash.
Not that I.m worried about the yabbing because I really enjoyed using windows phone based on the fact that the battery last long, the camera quality is superp and it does not consume data like android phones and so many other reasons.

But my question is..........

Why do people hate windows phones?
Simple and accurate answer.

It is too complicated.....it is not straightforward/ easy to use

So what courses do you think deserve better credit and hype?
Sociology, fisheries, political science, business administration...?

If i happen to parent and sponsor my kids through school in Nigeria and they decide to choose a course outside the OP's list of over-hyped courses, my 1 kobo won't be going in.

This is my opinion, my life, my business btw.
Exactly, that is exactly what the op is talking about........there is nothing wrong in going for Sociology, fisheries, political science, business administration. And they are not inferior.. It depends on the individuals choice and what he/she is good in. If your ward is very good with fishes. Why wont you let him study fishery in university?

You are a living example of what the op said. Please dont tell your children what to study, let them decide for themselves. Or else, you wont like the outcome.....trust me

DBestDoc:

@Op, i can't fault what you wrote up there because the word "Nigeria "gave credibility to your post.

Those courses you listed above are amongst the best and are considered hot cakes in saner climes.
An intern Doctor in Namibia earns more than a senior resident in Nigeria. The fact that Nigeria is a messed up place shouldn't deter people from pursuing their dreams.

Those courses you listed actually contibuted and still contributing atleast 70% in making our world progressive and a much better place.
There are struggles in every sector.
My advice is, go ahead and study what you want but don't limit yourself, don't be a local champion and don't put all your eggs in the Nigerian basket..

Forget that story, what the op is saying is that people give the above courses more credit than they actually deserve.
Most nigerian parents will b shouting medicine engineering. Etc and its not good at all

incomplete list...computer science should be added
everybody wants to become bill gate, Steve job, mark zukerberg, jobberman......today we have over 5million developers across d globe...in Lagos nigeria alone u will find over 50 ICT firms...the most annoying thing is that most people that has succeeded in their various ICT firms are not even computer science graduates..
this is an overated course and u can learn different areas of this course in different firms without a certificate in computer science
Abegiii, in Nigeria...computer science isnt hyped. Just an average number of students picks it.

Eg. Unilag- 1.4k com science. Medicine-. 4-6k.

Jokes apart. Most parents want their children to be engineers/doctors. And most people think its the best.
Medicine that isnt the hardest course has the highest cut off mark in every nigerian university. And it doesnt bring in that much money

if they refuse to give me money then fine... msc and bsc won't put money in my pocket either..

I am just telling you an easier way to do this thing. Its just like asking your parents for an iphone 6s and they end up getting you an iphone 5s because its cheaper and they think its the same thing.
If you have a bsc. Youll be able to get a day job and earn a salary for a year or 2. Then setting up your video editing stuff will b very easy. Cos, money no be problem

I hope you get my point

And btw. Pple respect the bsc certificate. Its an achievement. If you dont have it. It'll seem like you are lazy or not smart enough. Most of the people in your field will probably have a bsc. Find a way to get advice from one of them.

You can get an ond or hnd instead

After my first year in uni I found out that school is definitely not my thing, its not like I'm a dullard but everything about school makes me sick, I hate being in school environment, I don't pay attention I'm class cos I have little or no interest in what they teach. I was studying industrial relations and personnel management, it's not like I knew what the course was about, I just had to apply for it all in the name of 'Admission'... I mean who dreams of becoming a personnel manager as a kid... c'mon.
I've always loved anything that has to do with Internet, computer, photography, comedy and video recording...
But my fear now is the fact my parents will never understand my reason, I haven't told anyone in my family about this, my dad lives abroad, it's not like he cares about me or anything, he only pays for my tuition and that's about it.
I've had to hustle on my own in school to survive, also considering the fact that I'm someone who will never do what I don't like , I rather die... i've decided to hustle and save up my money to go for a course on photography and video editing..
I've got big dreams about my passion and I know where I'm going but I'm scared cos people say without education you are nothing... But it's obvious 'school is not for everyone'
I need advise please..
You possibly made a mistake

To follow your dreams. You need money
In nigeria today. To first of all gain a significant amount of money. You need a bsc or msc

Computers and photo/videogrsphy equipment requires a lot of money. And your parents will most likely not give you the amount you want

*musing-* For real i cant stand a pot-bellied man for long
I cant stand a scruffy looking man for long
I cant stand a smelly man
I cant stand a man who is wealthy but looks messy.

Why would a man be wealthy and erm unappealing to look at? If anything, he should look the best.

He can afford to gym. He has time too. He is in the best position to always eat healthy and stay fit.

Why would he want to look like my dad after 2,3 years of marriage?

If ive planned to look good even after having kids. Why not him?
Yes i plan looking good like my mum.

I remember my dad started to grow belly fat in his early 40s and my mum wasnt pleased. She didnt voice it bt my dad sensed her displeasure and hit the gym asap, continuously, until he trimmed completely. Till today, he still visits...

Well, if my hubby would be insensitive, I will try to caution him, if nothing works, its not i may cheat, i would cheat on him.

*How a man looks matters a lot*

My phone has a 3000mah battery and its lighter than iphone/samsung.
Except you're using an iphone , any android phone below 3000mah in this time and age under this nepa condition is a no no. Infact if I see an affordable 4000mah now I'll gladly buy.
1. What phone is that
2. A phone with a battery of more dan 3000mah cant be less than 170g and thats very heavy and wont be comfortable to use
