A40:A40 my man! What's popping... Can you please explain what point you were trying to make when you said this to AdisaOwala? ![]() A40:*Switches on Vybz Kartel - Bike Back* |
AdisaOwala:Oddly enough A40 was already suggesting that Kaka was not overrated based on his World Cup medal until you reminded him that Kaka was a passenger in that tourney... Then Kaka became overrated. More twists and about turns than a Jamaican Dancefloor... AdisaOwala: A40: |
NPComplete:I think the ending was perfect because it raises so many questions and gives very few answers. 1. Is Dolores really conscious? 2. Is Maeve really conscious? 3. Is Ford really dead? 4. Where is Abernathy? I don't believe for a second that Ford is pro-robot. His speech at the end is entirely at odds with his previous conversations with Bernard. It makes no sense to claim that he wanted the robots to become self-aware through suffering when he was constantly wiping Bernard's memories. I think Ford is reacting to Delos attempts to push him out. Nothing more. |
Emaprince:The guy just dey annoy everybody. He don derail the discussion already, and even on his new angle he still dey careen from goof to gaffe like a pinball machine. Even the guy who's defence he came to no even send am. Even Dayo who never passes up an opportunity to side with anybody against airmark no send am. I don't think the guy is human at all. No one man should be so foolish... |
Eruditor:Ode leleyi mehn... What does the above have to do with Kaka? The example up there doesn't even make sense. Murder is a very specific term and involves killing under specific circumstances. Killing a person cannot be automaticly be conflated with murder. Soldiers who kill in war are not guilty of murder. People who kill in self defence are not guilty of murder. So there is zero fallacy in arguing for a death sentence as a penalty for the very specific infraction of murder. P This just shows that you like to talk for the sake of it. B: Kaka deserves to be the best because the votes say he is the best.Ode Gidi Gaan ni bobo yii... So we should discount the votes of the Serie A players who played against Kaka for the opinion of a mumu philosopher who is incapable of following a coherent argument from the beginning? ![]() E: Ok CR7, now tell me why Kaka won best player in competition Y without achieving anything in it?LMAO So we should discount the votes of coaches and captains of national teams for the opinion of a mumu philosopher who is incapable of following a coherent argument from the beginning? ![]() Dude go and sleep and preferably never wake up. |
timbros:Duff and Robben was my favourite combo then on PES 4 Gosh. West London Blue was something else back in the day... |
diggz:As in. Egbon raumdeuter is a criminal. Very slippery mofo. A40 on the other hand is brutally direct and straight to the point. If he wasn't an IT guy, he would probably be in law enforcement or the military |
raumdeuter:Standard. There's no other player on their level right now. So are you saying that other than those guys, Aguero is one of the best in the world today? |
raumdeuter:Who is tier 1 ![]() |
Eruditor:Lmao at seek your attention. You stuck your long ostrich neck into a discussion that did not concern you only to start vomiting uninformed rubbish. How many more people are going to tell you to go and start from the beginning? Nobody is debating whether Kaka is overrated. What we were discussing until you came along was a specific set of criteria that A40 mentioned. So far, nobody has discussed whether any player deserved his award or not. We are merely discussing whether the criteria A40 described can be applied in isolation to any footballer while yielding consistent results. FYI I clearly stated that Ronaldinho lived up to his WPOTY 04 status in 05 and that his post WPOTY 04 performance (especially in the following year) convinced someone like me who felt he was undeserving of it just the year before.Nobody gives a rats arse about your opinions rewarding the WPOTY You said and I quote: ".. someone's subsequent performances can act as validation for if he is rated rightly or overrated.." Which is quite a daft position to take as the WPOTY award only considers a very specific historical timeframe. The WPOTY is award for actions performed in the past. Only a fool like yourself will try to qualify the award with future events. GTFOH nigga. |
Eruditor:Honestly I have never seen anybody so willfully obtuse and incapable of comprehension... Let me remind you that neither Airmark nor AdisaOwala are concerned with what happened to Kaka post 2007. AdisaOwala clearly stated that Kaka in his peak period was clearly one of the best in the world and this cannot be said to be overrated Airmark told you specifically that he is talking about WPOTY of 2007 not WPOTY of 2007-2015. Why are you determined to dispute points thar nobody else but yourself is making? Are you not tired? Or as Ronaldinho was awarded WPOTY in 2004 (which I felt should have been Henry) if he went on to play like Kaka did post-2007 won't I be allowed to say he was overrated? I am sure many of us that questioned Dinho's first WPOTY award felt he lived up to his billing subsequently. So what about Ronaldinho's performance post 2005? Afterall he did not live up to his previous performances...he must be overrated. What a dumb stance to assume. The law of diminishing returns means that every player declines. Only a fool like yourself will look at a player's 'subsequent performances' to see whether the player was overrated or not. This precisely the reason why both AdisaOwala and Airmark are not interested in the BS you keep spouting in such eloquent manner. Even A40 refused to encourage such Inane arguments and based his decision to label Kaka overrated on league performance the year he won WPOTY. Please gerrahia. Your mumuness is so annoying. |
The Art of Flip Flopping -By Dr A40 A40: A40: A40: A40: A40: A40: |
diggz:Good idea... |
airmark:The thing just dey bust my head... ![]() |
A40:Compare the individual accolades of the England team at WC 2006 to those of Argentina in 2014 WC Why is your Logic and understanding so gaddem poor? |
A40:Oh so you know this one now... But you didn't think about this when you were asking England with Paul Robinson, Wayne Bridge and Aaron Lennon to dominate like the dream team of 92 no? ![]() Stand by your words like a man. |
A40:Why can't you stand by your own words for God's sake? Why would you ask for titles if titles don't matter? ![]() Why would you ask for dominant performances like dream team of 92 if nobody came to count bridge? ![]() Is there anything in your original post that you can actually back up? ![]() |
A40:You better don't try that... Because I will ask you why Argentina had to go to extra time with Switzerland and Holland... You set the criteria that Argentina should have been dominant like dream team of 92... Yet they were forced to extra time in games where they were overwhelming favourites. I'm off work today and have the time. |
Eruditor:If you could read, you will see that the 'bellicose crew' don't agree with you because you are arguing points thar nobody made. This was a discussion about a specific set of parameters that A40 defined. I have told you to go back and read. AdisaOwala has told you to go back and read. I'm sure even A40 will tell you to go back and read. You are arguing with yourself and that's just stoopid. |
A40:The Copa 16 one was a mistake. I copied and pasted the same line of for 15. Argentina still lost to an underdog in the Finals so.... |
Eruditor:You clearly cannot read. Not only did you miss the premise of original discussion, you must have missed AdisaOwala's response to you here: Last time I checked, nobody implied that Kaka is the greatest attacking Midfielder of all time so I really don't get this your "Apples vs Oranges" comparison. Not only was your so called information unrequested, it is completely irrelevant to the discussion in its entirerty because you have missed the point so spectacularly. I will tell you again, go back to the beginning and READ. As for your illogic on media and Messi I am guessing that Messi had not won several WPOTY awards compared to a fledgling Rooney?Chai this one is daft. You are the same person who Rooney was one of the best players at the time yet was overrated because he did not win a competition he was predicted to. Messi is also one of the best players around and did not win the competition- by your own useless definition he is overrated. See how you used "stoopid", "bollocks" "where do they pick this people from?" to qualify someone's posts or his person who didn't attack or even mention you. In the same breath you were throwing shades at those who jump into conversations and accusing another person of waffling. HahahaThis is why we said you should go back and READ. If you did so, you will realise that you are the one who jumped into a Conversation that A40 AdisaOwala and I were having that started a few days ago... The more you talk, the more stoopid you appear. READ nigga READ! |
Eruditor:I know it maybe hard for you to read, but A40 did not call Kaka overrated in comparison to any other player... Go back to the beginning and see the criteria he gave for deciding who is overrated before you come here to talk bollocks. When the British media in 2004 started saying the English team could win the world cup (in 06) because of Rooney they were overrating him. That doesn't mean that he wasn't "one of the best players of the timeThis is such a stoopid thing to say. The Media were saying Messi could win the world cup in 2014, Copa in 2015 and 2016 because they were overrating him too. Frank Lampard said Mou would get into the dressing room circa 04/05 and tell him he is the best player in the world. Frank knew it was all a confidence booster because he knew he wasn't the best. Mou was overrating him. Doesn't mean Frank was not one of the best in the world. He wasOponu leleyi o. So a manager talking in private to his player, (who just so happened to be voted the 2nd best player in the world during the period you mentioned) is considered overrating.... Where do they find you people? Don't reply please.. |
diggz:Bruh I just weak. I had initially typed a lengthy reply to that Barka fan but I just decided to ignore him. His post was was just waffle with literally no substance. The other poster thato just jumped in aggressively like a frog on energy drinks is pretty much the same. Posting for the sake of it or maybe just so he test his keyboard. Despite the premise and context of the argument being set at least 2 days ago, he's coming to talk about hypothetical contexts that nobody even mentioned. Where do they even find these people? |
AdisaOwala:Usually Dayo would have backed him up...but this time left him to stand solo. That's why I told A40 to recant his original illogical post first time round. A player can be great and overrated at the same time - A40 Aguero is overrated- A40 Kaka was overrated - A40 Lampard was overated - A40 However Boateng is not Overrated- A40 How many gaffes in just one day tori Olorun? ![]() |
WTF?! |
A40:You are the one that does not understand the criteria you set. Let us apply your own faulty logic to Messi and Argentina 1. Where are the trophies - Messi has none 2. They should be dominate teams in the same way as the Dream Team of 92. Argentina at the worldcup struggled to get to the Finals via extra time and PKs. Lost in the final. Not a dominant performance Argentina at Copa 15 struggled against teams they were favourites to beat. Got to finals via some PK games. Lost in the final to the bookies underdog. Not a dominant performance Argentina at Copa 16 struggled against teams they were favourites to beat. Got to finals via some PK games. Lost in the final to the bookies underdog. Not a dominant performance 3. Any team that consistently fails must be overrated. Outliers or bad tournaments can be forgiven. Argentina Failed at WC - Outlier that can be forgiven Lost to Chile Copa 15. Underdogs who had beaten Argentina only 8 times in their history compared to Argentina's history of over 50 wins. Failure number 1 Lost to Chile Copa 16. Underdogs who had beaten Argentina only 9 times in their history compared to Argentina's history of over 50 wins. Failure number 2. This also consecutive. A40 by your faulty logic Messi is overrated. QED. |
3. The question then for any intelligent mind is why do they keep failing year in year out? The odd outlier or bad tournament is understandable but when this collective keep failing every two years like clockwork only a certified crazeman like you would not see that these players are overratedYet the top rated South American team flopping at 3 finals in a row is not a failure. Losing twice in a row to Chile the massive underdogs is not a failure... A40 ladies and gentlemen...master contortionist at his best. |
2 Owen, Beckham, Ferdinand, Lampard, Terry have all won multiple individual awards so simple logic dictates that these amalgam of stars in one team should be beasting and destroying teams like the 92 Dream TeamTitles don't mean anything despite asking for performance similar to one of the most dominant sports teams in history |
A40:While trying to explain the concept of overrated players, A40 asks why individual awards have not been converted to titles.... But titles don't mean anything.... |
airmark:Bruh I just weak. I asked for titles but it doesn't matter of titles no dey... Gosh... A40 must be made of plasticine the way he twist turns and doubles back... |
A40:Why are you lying though? 1. You asked for titles. 2. You asked for performance similar to the arguably the most dominant team in sports history 3. You described the absence of both as failure. Why would you ask for title if title does not mean anything? ![]() Do you go to a bukka and ask for agbada? Do you go to a petrol station and ask for a tuber of yam? Why ask such a pointless question then? ![]() |
