The other day, I watched a group of angry Yoruba people carrying placards that read, "go back home and create your own Lagos there". To many ndi Igbo that invested heavily in Lagos, it was a bitter pill to swallow but then, the truth remains nothing but the truth....Bianca Ojukwu.I hope all the MuthaFvckingly rich igbo guys in lagos will read this truth. Id just heard that one medical surgeon bought the fast rising tower on Eko Atlantic. Why?? Why cant he come home and invest like maduka? And he is from Anambra too. If you are a rich Igbo guy and still thinking, and holding dear to Lagos... may the Devil caress you in your dreams |
"Kudos to this worthy son and it's not as if he is even the richest Igbo man. No way! We have plenty of them but their brains are not with them." .....Bianca Ojukwu |
How will I get Libra? Facebook isn’t going into details about how the currency will be available at launch, but signs point to a hybrid approach. The presence of traditional payments firms, such as Visa and MasterCard, in the list of founders suggests that the company will be perfectly happy to let users simply buy the currency. But Facebook is also likely to carry out what’s known in cryptocurrency circles as an “air drop”, handing out small amounts of currency for free in an effort to kickstart the ecosystem. That will be crucial if it is to fulfil its goal of bringing financial services to people without bank accounts. Ultimately, of course, those users will need a more reliable source of Libra income than simple handouts from Facebook. In the long-term, then, we can also expect some of Libra’s founder members to offer their employees all or part of their pay in the currency. |
Facebook claims that although it created the Libra Association and the Libra Blockchain, once the currency is launched in 2020 the company will withdraw from a leadership role and all members of the association will have equal votes in governance of Libra. The companies who contributed a minimum of $10m(£8m) to be listed as founding members of the Libra Association include tech companies such as PayPal, Ebay, Spotify, Uber and Lyft, as well as financial and venture capital firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, Thrive Capital, Visa and Mastercard. |
Who is in charge of Libra? The currency will be serviced by a collective of companies called the “Libra Association”. It functions as what is known as a “stablecoin”, pegged to existing assets like the dollar or euro, in the aim of making it less subject to the volatility that many cryptocurrencies experience. The Libra Association is described by Facebook as an independent, not-for-profit organisation based in Switzerland. It serves two main functions: to validate transactions on the Libra blockchain and to manage the reserve Libra is tied to and allocate funds to social causes. |
What is Libra? Facebook says Libra is a “global currency and financial infrastructure”. In other words, it is a digital asset built by Facebook and powered by a new Facebook-created version of blockchain, the encrypted technology used by bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Why is it called Libra? The name Libra comes from the basic Roman measurement of weight. The abbreviation lb for pound is derived from Libra, and the £ symbol originally comes from an ornate L in Libra. Why is Facebook launching a cryptocurrency, and are they allowed? Facebook claims it wants to reach the 1.7 billion people around the world who do not have access to a bank account. The company is likely to run into regulatory hurdles and antitrust concerns, especially at a time when many regulators want to break up Facebook, but no specific legislation has been put forth ahead of the launch. Amidst rumours of Facebook’s new financial expansion, members of the US Senate wrote to CEO Mark Zuckerberg in May asking for clarification on privacy concerns. |
On Tuesday, Facebook announced a digital currency called Libra that will roll out for use in 2020 and allow the platform’s billions of users across the globe to make financial transactions online. The new technology threatens to change the landscape of banking and is already the subject of scrutiny, as Facebook faces increasing calls for regulation and antitrust measures. But regulatory questions aside – how soon can you use Facebook’s new digital coin to buy coffee? Here’s what you need to know.

There is anticipation. And you have the promises of a good director. But i have always hav issues with iclone as a full fledged 3d package. It is good as a previs tool and something to horn ones animation skills with but i dont think it will serve as a feature film or game cinematic tool. I wouod suggest at this time, now that youve understood the concepts of animation , to move into the industry standard tools like Blender, Cinema4d, Maya, Modo, Houdini or 3dsmax |

I hope i will find time to finish this personal "MUD" project of mine. I am trying to get the consistency of Mud in the simulation. Touching parameters such as Viscosity and Droplet size. I am still not there yet. The major issues i had with this Mud project was trying to fit my particles withing the domain box. If you use Houdini or Blender's fluid simulation algos, there's what is kown as a domain box. It is fine and dandy if you want to say, simulate waterfalls or water pouring into an object but what if you want to sim stagnant water on an irregular terrain? How would the rectangular domain box fit into the contours of the terrain surface (i.e. how would a four edge box follow the contour of my Mud's Land). solving this challenge, got me a few grey hairs and i am barely 29 ![]()

Nigeria can never make it in oir lifetime...its a given |
NnadyAutos:I thought as much The Op and his lots must have tried to chip in the Nigerian factor. Looking for ways to either defraud, increase billing fees etc. Its the usual. And when their plans fail. They look for the indian scapegoat to maon on. If you giys are that good, why would Dangote hire the indian in the first place. Op do your work properly amd stop seeking for ways to enrich your pocket from Dangote. I think the indian is a major obstacle to them...they cant line their pockets ![]() |

This is just distortion of culture, Leo Igwe should be ashamed of himself.I beg to differ...that homosexuality was frowned upon by our ancestors. and in so many parts of Igboland, there is a masquarade spirit , often called Adama, that is played by an effeminate man. Why would a female spirit be represented by a Male? Why should the Male adopt female mannerisms while in Masquarade gear. In Imo Awka, for example, there is also an effeminate character(this time not in masquarade gear) that accompanies the machismo guys and masquarades especially on the last day of the celebration. I often wonder why?? He dresses in skimpy drag queen clothes and cavorts around the guys (Main masquarade entourage) and the funniest thing is that these guys dont treat this character with disdain, its almost as if Tradition accepts that duality.... Me think that most of the hate towards people with gender issues come from the over bearing pentecostal strains of christianity. And i also think that this notion that homosexuality is a western import is puerile at best, if you study so many African customs and traditions before tge advent of Victorian colonialists, they (the Africans)have always accepted that such duality exists and had always tolerated them. Examples abound if you study or google a little deeper... |
Most women will protest in london.. They hate Trump there. Unlike Obama that has multitudes dying to grasp a sight of him. But i like both of them, Obama is modern and has a heart. Trump has got balls, and his fingers are always on the Nuclear button and ofcourse despises Buhari....which is a good thing And God bless America, without them Islam could have overriden the innocents and the free world. |
