True but baffles me, my younger cousin who served in Anambra said it's forbidden to kill or eat snakes in the LGA where he served. The snakes neither bite nor hurt anyone, they just come around, curl, 'play' with people and creep back into the bush. They sometimes stay with you in the same room for days and you just ignore them like they are rats or cockroaches. He said initially he was scared but soon got used to it, at some point you even get worried if you don't see them in a long while! They are that used to the snakes. I just keep wondering what kind of custom that is.
