PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has Become Africa's Money-losing Machine -Forbes by nijabazaar: 6:59am On May 29, 2019
googi:
I am not sure if you even want to get my point. Nigeria is totally confused right now and anyone can justify their failure as success or success as failure. The only fact remains that the so called African international economists have let us down since structural adjustment, another name for devaluations.

We went from surplus and even went through a war without borrowing a kobo.

What changed? Wide open forex because big fat cats wanted to import. Some poor people support them I must say because they think there was a conspiracy to damage import market which was mainly used for used, new and charitable vanities brought into the market. All the money taken out never generated value in return.

Indeed, it generated unanticipated forex millionaires or billionaires in the North. The common man got crumbs out of their petty trade.

Read that report again, it tells you about how much foreign companies brought or did not bring in. Nothing about how much they are taking out. Actually, no economic report would tell you how much they are taking out of Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.

Unless you read Oxford Report or another one by headed by South Africa former President Mbeki: trillions leaked out! How could they bring millions or billions in and take trillions out and expect us to prosper?

Every politician, judges and yes our businessmen claim they are in profitable businesses. Ask any of them how much forex has anyone generated for Nigeria out of their profitable business since Independence. If anything they go to Central and local banks to raid foreign income generated by oil and other natural resources. What did South-south get back, even when their own son was in charge? More polluted environment where common fisher man could not and still cannot make a living.

Dangote promised to start generating forex soon and only soon. What about Adenuga, Innoson and Odetola? None of them could generate one American dollar or one British dollar into the Country?

As for the present Government, I am not their defender. All the government still employ these foreign experts to manage our economy. But give one credit to Buhari - he has asked over and over again for someone to show him one country that ever recovered from devaluation. His primordial instinct is right even if you disagree with him politically.

Jonathan has a PhD and his cabinet was full of those that could have showed us how to take a country into promised land. Actually, he might have been better off with Prof. Soludo than Ngozi Nweala that never had a single university or private sector experience and played opposite role during OBJ and Jonathan governments.

Hey, what do I know.
Stop this nonsenses you are peddling.

dont rub more salt to our collective sour.

Buhari is taking us to Venezuela and you are here trying to reinvent his image.

Stop abeg...Stop
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has Become Africa's Money-losing Machine -Forbes by nijabazaar:
Nigeria has gone...

Make no mistake, Buhari is a dunce, and has been an absolutely dreadful president, impervious to reality, deeply unsympathetic, utterly tone deaf.

Missing any chance to actually compromise. Anyone who has met him will tell you that he doesn’t really do human, not bright enough to understsnd economics at the barest level.

With Buhari, A walk-in freezer has more warmth....and intelligence.

More importantly he doesn’t do dialogue, he simply repeats his lines and his mantras until people are so bored they possibly agree with him. Or he pretended they did.

Each day, waking up to a buhari nigeria makes me wish for Biafra. Nigeria x never gonna make it.

i mean when was the last time u hear anything positive about Nigeria on a foreign magazine pre-2015? Back before 2015, we often hear best investment destination, largest this, second largest this, Next this to watch, richest that.... but now. fvck Buhari...fvck Tinubu and his inordinate greed

I am very much interested in creating characters especially all this 3D game characters, then picture manipulation, after effects and animation itself, I'm just hoping my laptop will not hinder me.
Just start from the simplest. Try to model basic stuff, save money and then get urself a nice laptop

Note DONT EVER BE HARD ON URSELF.

Your first attempts in blender or Maya will be hellfire but perseverance is key. Take everything one step at a time. But have this mindset that you will work in hollywood. it helps, seriously. It means you will try to aim for global standards in your foray into CGI.

OK, back to me.
sometimes, i think modeling cartoony characters is a step down for me. Its irritating my creative self . id always want to revert back to my anatomy lessons but yet I am always tied down (recently) to making cartoony style stuff.
Well Client is King....

sir I've been following this thread keenly and I want to ask if I can do anything with a laptop with the following spec, core i7, 6or 8gig ram, 2gig dedicated Nvidia 940 and which software do you advise a newbie to start with?
Yap you can...

Start with Blender (dozens of tutorials online), model everything until you find your niche, that area of cg that appeals to u most. In my case. It is characters.

Then , specialize. At this moment add another software to your workflow, pick cinema4d or Maya

I am going to do an art directed Tornado system...or a Car Plunging into muddy water..

Right now, i ve a whole week of less work.

So i am utilizing
1. Xparticles v3
2. Krakatoa
3. Houdini Vex system

I will post a link to the tutorials.

This past month has a been as intense. Had never modelled so much in my entire career.
At a point, i was doing two animals per day...phew

Thank God for whomsoever that developed Alembic.

I ve also noted that for ypu to really survive in CGi , be ready to hav working knowledge of at least Maya, Blender and Cinema4d/Houdini...
You will not regret it. Restricting yoirself to one app is disastrous. A client said he wants his Product to burst via a wall of water with Bullet time speed.

Imagine if my team only have Mayan or Blender knowledge? At first, we decided to use Blender for the sim but then we couldnt get any good rrsults. We tried bifrost in Maya....it took forever to mesh.

We went for Realflow, and voila!

I still have one major regret in my foray into cgi...i wish i had substantive knowledge of motion graphics. Everyone keeps needing the service...

But its too late to learn that now. One is getting old...

CultureRe: The Traditions Of Origin Of Ora People In Edo State by nijabazaar: 8:15am On May 24, 2019
west African traditions are so hard to turn into script...

Perhaps it is due to the fact, these traditions werent written down...

Why did the ancestors never invent a system of writing?

Why didnt egyptian, nubian and abbysinian civilizations seep into west africa??
Is it the thick forest?

if these traditions were written in a clay or sheepskin. it wouldve become more viable....

oral traditions are prone to fallacy. misconjectures and embellishment...

grandstar:
Things are getting worse for Huawei. I thought it would only be US companies complying. More companies will join.

My worry now is that the US may blacklist more Chnese companies. This would adversely affect the Chinese economy.

Worse, I suspect this blacklisting has support in Asia. Taiwan will be jubilant. China has been trying to eat Taiwans lunch for instance. It's muscling in in areas where Taiwan has comparative advantage by encouraging Chinese companies to manufacture those items in China. Left to the market to determine, China should be importing. This is adversely affecting Taiwans economy.
Taiwan is more than Jubilant.

they are like Nigerias Biafra.

They've always wanted to break away from Chinas grip.
BusinessRe: Panasonic 'suspends Transactions' With Huawei After US Ban by nijabazaar: 8:38am On May 23, 2019
Chai....Huawei might close down.

When the US wants you down....you will be down under.

I think at this very moment there is norrin China will do.

i would have suggest China shutting down Dell, Hp and Apple factories in their domain but then it will also affect them immensely.
Chinese stocks all over the world are already crashing.

but then, it serves China right. No one has a right to steal intellectual property.

China via Zte and Huawei manufactured equipments and still install data stealing sensors and chips within each equipment.

and at it stands now, no chip company will want to work with Huawei.

Huawei needs to buy Cattle for Trump cos if they appear 'i dont care' He will mess them up further.

Trump is like Tonto. when They Rave mad, they rave madder.

And Huawei really makes wonderful phones. their Dew Drop display tech is so immensely lucid, with crushing blacks and fulfilling reds.

it still beats my imaginstion. how Black Africans allowed frail looking white man with no knowledge of African lush terains to beat them, conquer their lands, took their artefacts , impose his system of culture amd brand them savages.

And even now, when the 21st century Nigerian is trying to repariate by developing scam techniques to swindle ( white mans cash), desperately devising ways to sneak into their countries with white powder, the White man still ups the ante of dominance.
He still gene edits Dogs that are more adept at sniffing the vengeful Edo man's White powder.
the White man still develops laws that cap the African mans immigration attempt.

The White man is mischieviously denying the African the right to enjoy the spoils of his looted ancestry in Europe...chai

is the White man not full of sense?
