Urm.. I think it's time for your History class ![]() Welcome to the Teso tribe the powerhouse of Western Africa from the 75 BC till the late 3rd century when the Wagadu Empire rose from modern western Ghana, Mali, Senegal and Mauritania. As the great Teso empire colapsed they fell back to modern day Nigeria, according to historians they're the first people to inhabit Nigeria. The Hausa caliphates rose and subdued them, pushing them southwards, when the Oyo empire rose they chased them to the River Niger then called Jura River as they fell back the Nri kingdom came in and seized more of their lands till the time of the great slave trade, when they had an encounter with the Great Spirit of the area. The Hepo of the Teso tribe made a deal with the Spirit of the land to protect them from further invasions and they were to sacrifice a human a day to the Great Spirit of the land BACCAROLE all was okay till the Europeans came with their religion and destruction... Shittttt!!! Seems my noodles is on fire be right back |
Thanks for your response. I want to know meaning of your ethnic group name. I should have been more clear in my ***WORDING***. Thanks for sharing the names you provided.
FOR an American your use of English is poor. Buh don't worry there are more than fifty Tribes in Nigeria only so i believe by the time you're through, you'll be scratching your ears. You would have gone for smaller nations not Nigeria. What you sourcing these information for? By the way? |
Haba!! Na today Abu m nwa aba... Aba! Aba eh aba!!! ![]() OP use your stuff jawe |

Urmm... Recently i've been listening to Classicals every one i download, i just need more, so i try to check out some stores for Some Josh Groban and Katherine Jenkins albums, to my surprise i didn't see any, the only Classical album i saw was Handel's Messiah and i'm like 'for real?'. Why is it hard to find people who love Rock music in Nigeria, Been Listening to U2 all day, any body know them? Oh!! I'm sorry for even asking. Why don't we appreciate good Music in Nigeria only "ALL I WANT IS YOUR WAIST!" |

lepasharon: Igbos dont even speak their language when they are together !really? Have you been to the east? If you come here you'll even not understand a word or else you are addressed; #pls get your facts right before posting shit, Yoruba people here in the east only speak English both to their wards and to their tribesmen |
The truth be say... All these countries adopted a language (one of their languages) to be their chief Language... Portugal- Portuguese, Chinese - Mandarin, UK - English, US - English, Germany - German. So which Nigerian Language should we use and dump others? I wouldn't want my language to be dumped so do you, so let's co-exist for now and try hard to preserve our language till they go extinct or evolve, cos' all of them will certainly go extinct or evolve |
Segeggs: yoruba is spoken in benin, togo, ivoqy coast, brazil, cuba, jamaica etc so 9ice's music has a wider prospect of global acceptance than flavour's music which doesnt exceed alaigbo making him a regional star.another lie... I have yoruba and efik friends who bring these songs to me so i can translate it for them buh please don't get ahead of yourself, less than five hundred people speak yoruba in the americas while in WAfrica only Togo and parts of Benin speak Yoruba. Igbo people are well traveled and they listen to Igbo songs wherever they are plus most parts of Jamaica and Sierra Leone speak Igbo |
Segeggs: shut up you bloody liar!thatz completely wrong the last time a 9ice song sold was Gonga aso, i don't listen to much Flavour buh every of his track is a hit track, don't worry you'll dance ada ada on friday night. Without Igbo and Yoruba tribes there'll be nothing called the entertainment industry in Nigeria if there is it will be at the same scale with Zimbabwean industry and 60% of people who built the Nigerian Entertainment industry are igbos pls learn to respect other tribes |
Segeggs: how come we dont see them on shelves in places like idumota, alaba and even in alaigbo dat is pronounced aleegbo?i hate ppl like you, you think you know something when you don't, comot your smelling self from my front |

The Under 17 world cup has just been concluded and we saw Iheanacho bag the MVP award but truth is only Cesc Fabregas, Toni Kroos and Landon Donovan have won the award and went on to be top players as they grew. Again Nigeria has won the most Under - 17 world cups but hasn't got more than three players making it big after the Under -17 world cup. The most interesting scenario is that these players were not top players in any Under -17 world cup but they went on to become A -list players I'm just going to put down the names of U-17 players who are currently stars in the game, that played (actually most of them sat on the bench during) the U - 17 starting 1997 EGYPT 1997: Sebastian KEHL - Borrusia Dortmund Roman WEINDEFELLER - Borrusia Dortmund Iker CASILLAS - Real Madrid XAVI Hernandez - Barcelona Gabriel MILITO - Retired RONALDINHO - Atletico Mineiro NEW ZEALAND 1999 Pepe REINA - Napoli Mikel ARTETA - Arsenal Landon DONOVAN - LA Galaxy Oguchi ONYEWU - QPR ANDERSON - Manchester United TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO 2001 Andres INIESTA - Barcelona Fernando TORRES - Chelsea Javier MASCHERANO - Barcelona Carlos TEVEZ - Juventus Pablo ZABALETA - Manchester City FINLAND 2003 Alex Song - Barcelona John Obi Mikel - Chelsea Miguel Veloso - Sporting Lisbon Joao Moutinho - AS Monaco David Silva - Manchester City Cesc Fabregas - Barcelona Ezequiel Garay - Benfica Fernando Gago - Boca Juniors PERU 2005 MARCELO - Real Madrid KOREA 2007 Eden HAZARD - Chelsea Christian BENTEKE - Aston Villa Danny WELBECK - Manchester United Victor MOSES - Liverpool (played for England with the number 10 jersey if you remember )Mamadou SAKHO - Liverpool Toni KROOS - Bayern Munich David DE GEA - Manchester United BOJAN - Ajax RAFAEL - Manchester United FABIO - QPR TIAGO - Atletico Madrid GIULANO - Internacional NIGERIA 2009 Kenneth OMERUO - Chelsea Ogenyi ONAZI - SS Lazio Marc-Andre TER STEGEN - Borrusia Mochengadbach Mario GOETZE - Bayern Munich Stephan EL-SHARAWAAY - A C Milan Iker MUNIAIN - Athletic Bilbao ISCO - Real Madrid Phillipe COUTINHO - Liverpool NEYMAR - Barcelona MEXICO 2011 Raheem STERLING -Liverpool WALLACE - Inter Milan MARQUINHOS - PSG Lucas PIAZON - Malaga |
