Buzor16: John Okon, the owner of Collabor Hotel, an inn on Ige Street, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, has been arrested along with the hotel manager, Emmanuel Thomas, for allegedly hosting underage sex workers in the facility.
It was gathered that operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, acting on intelligence, busted the hotel on Saturday, March 10, 2020, and caught a 15-year-old primary school leaver allegedly engaging in prostitution.
The girl was said to have been brought from her village in the eastern part of the country by one Monica Ita, a few weeks ago, on the pretext that she (Ita) would get her a good job.
Oone Destiny Bassey, 19, and 18-year-old Bright Effiong, who was said to have been at the inn for three years, were also picked up by the operatives. The hotel operators admitted to providing service for the sex workers, except the 15-year-old girl.
The hotel manager, Thomas, said, “It is true that we provide rooms for sex workers where men visit them. We collect N5,000 from them (the sex workers) every week. We don’t give them out to men; they bring their customers themselves.”
In an interview with Punchng, the 15-year-old revealed that Ita persuaded her to come to Lagos when she (Ita) saw her playing around the village. She said, “Some days after I got to Lagos, she took me to the hotel to do prostitution. .
I had yet to get a room when the police came to pick us.” On her part, bold and unabashed, Bassey, 25, said: “Nobody forced me into prostitution. I have been hustling at the .....Watch Video Here And Continue Reading

SmartProf: Just imagine the audacity and capabilities of 'technically defeated terrorists'. If the Chadian Army brought these idiots to their knees, I still wonder why with all our python dance steps, our army can't crush them down permanently. Gov. Zulum needs to be careful cos it appears he has become a prime target for the terrorists, but no weapon fashioned against him shall prosper.

YEBOmadiba: Groups of protesters have demanded more stringent immigration laws while marching through South Africa's capital city of Pretoria directing their anger at African immigrants.
Under the banner of #PutSouthAfricansFirst, small groups of people marched from Church Square to the Nigerian Embassy.
They said government has failed to put South Africans first and have called for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants as well as the revoking of grants and other state benefits.
Various organisations including South Africa First and “Only One SA” have handed over a memorandum of demands at the Nigerian Embassy following a march through the Pretoria CBD.
Action for change’s Nandi Gachwari said their demands were clear.
“We demand an end to human trafficking in Pretoria and, broadly, South Africa; the deportation of all illegal immigrants; the exposure of corruption in flawed Home Affairs processes that grant citizenship to undeserving foreign nationals.”
High Commissioner Kabiru Bala said while he accepted the memorandum, it was unfair that only Nigerians should be blamed for South Africa’s social and economic ills.
The organisations vowed to return to the streets if their demands were not met.
You see☝ their government say or do nothing while her citizens march to a foreign Embassy........try same to south Africa's embassy in Nigeria they will sent arm robbers called SARS.
Lebanon has been hit by another explosion after an arms depot of the Iran-backed Shi'ite Muslim group Hezbollah allegedly exploded in the southern village of Ein Qana on Tuesday, September 22.
The village of Ain Qana in south Lebanon is a political stronghold of the heavily armed and politically powerful group which has fought wars with neighboring Israel.
A security source said the arms depot blast, which sent a huge column of black smoke into the sky, was caused by a "technical error." The insider added that many people were injured. Pictures from Lebanese news media showed clouds of dark smoke coming out from the area.
The al-Manar television station run by Lebanon's Hezbollah confirmed there was an explosion but declined to give further details.
Residents said ambulances had carried away several injured people, while Lebanon's National News Agency reported limited material damage.
The mysterious explosion comes seven weeks after a huge explosion rocked Beirut port after an estimated 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate caught fire at a warehouse. The explosion killed nearly 200 people, injured 6,500, and damaged tens of thousands of buildings in the capital, Beirut.
Two week ago, a massive fire also broke out at a warehouse in Beirut port.

Indomie generation or you have chosen to be economical with truths.?
How can we say DISCOS and GENCOS now are not far better than NEPA
NEPA that became so bad that anytime they mistakenly bring light, the "shout of joy" that vibrates from every nook and cranny resonates more than air waves.
That terrible "Up NEPA" slogan is yet to fade away till date.
DISCOS and GENCOS are milking us, they are not at eldorado yet...but to compare them with NEPA Haba!!
With your argument one can clearly guess how old you are..
You have no idea or comprehend a thing out of what the man had said.
Discos and Gencos are criminals...

My reason for posting this is not to garner cheap like, but to let people know that even where people think they would find solace, they are being rejected there too.

maasoap: Make your point and leave names calling, that's like shouting to win a debate. Whatever those guys are "cooking", it will only cause disturbances in their locality. Boko Haram had been disturbing since 2007, has it spread to your state? Bandits are getting pounded right now that their cups are full, the same fate awaits them too. You still remember IPOB disturbances, right? What of Shiite, though I did sympathise with them a little? Nigeria is stronger than what many of you would like us to believe
My point can only be understood by matured minds and not tribal bigot like you.
Bokoharam getting pounded while still spreading their tentacles to other parts of the country.. eg,Niger state,Kaduna, south west, etc.
Lie to yourself to suite your narrative.
Keep looking for hope where there's none.
