caukerzee: now you dont know what you re talking about. fyi, maradona scored 2goals in that world cup he won. his team did everything. the only reason he got all the attention was because of his 'hand of god' goal and the goal which he dribbled from the center of the feild pass five players. get your facts right.
lol
So Maradona was a bit part player for Argentina huh? I bet he was insignificant for Napoli too.
Please can you name 7 true world beaters from Argentina's Mexico '86 team?
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 1:54pm On Nov 12, 2012
Whobedatte: You know nothing about football , So sharrap!!! No player has ever dragged a mediocre team to the world cup title. The team all round would be good , only he would be an excepptional player. Hear what Jorge Valdano has to say and i quote, Maradona was an exceptional player , a leader of the pack , in the midst of equally good talents. Will maradona/pele drag a liberian , pakistan or togolese team to the world cup title? A team that has Jorge Valdano, the former sporting director@ real madrid, Claudio Buruchaga and the rest is a mediocre team? Do U even know the meaning of mediocre?
Lol
You are just a typical example of a modern day football 'fan' who thinks everything about football is what he is has seen in the past 7 to 10 years he's been watching the sport.
One thing you should know is the individual brilliance and genius of certain players in a team can radiate through and turn average players into world beaters. It was so for Dixie Dean, it was so for Giuseppe Meazza and it was so for Maradona.

dorothy111: My point is, player moves from one team to another, not just players moves from very league to EPL. EPL buy players just like any other team, meanwhile both BECK and Owen won the league for Madrid
Thank you.
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 1:38pm On Nov 12, 2012
honeric01: Give us a product of the EPL that's making wave and stop this childish argument.
Ok... Well Yaya Toure and Aguero are no products of La Liga too. Are they?
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 1:26pm On Nov 12, 2012
caukerzee: a greater pecentage of pele's 1281 goals were scored in meaningless and non-competitive charity matches and friendlies. plus there was no offside rule. you speak as tho football is an individual sport. football is a team sport. Pele did not win the world cup alone, he was just one star among other stars. you cant compare the peles 1956 brazil team to the present messis argentina team. peles team was much better.
Now its a team sporthuh I thought it was all about Messi
Argentina's essembles for the past decade or so have be mediocre right?
Talking about mediocre teams, Maradona played amongst mediocre players, yet he dragged them to conquer all and reach the pinnacle of the sport.
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 1:18pm On Nov 12, 2012
honeric01: A product of the Portuguese League. say something else.
Oh yeah... He became a world beater while in Portugal
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 1:08pm On Nov 12, 2012
caukerzee: your history was gifted to you by generalissimo franco. he was a dictator and dictated everything including madrids matches. without franco, madrids history wount be this rich.
lol... How pedestrian?!
General Franco handed those 5 consecutive European Cup trophies to Madrid too?
General Franco was responsible for that famous 11 - 1 drubbing of Barcelona?
General Franco was responsible for the brilliance of Alfredo Di Stefano and Ferenc Puskas?
General Franco was from the grave responsible for Madrid's 5 consecutive Liga crowns between 1985 and 1990?
Dude come at me with a better argument please.

lol
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 12:39pm On Nov 12, 2012
emmke: La liga is crap yet the best players in the epl at the moment are all products of la liga
Aguero
Mata
Cazorla
Yaya Toure
Silva
Michu
These weren't even the best in la liga, but they've all taken the epl by storm. Waitng for a similar list from the epl fan boys
Oh Critiano Ronaldo is a product of Real's Cantera? La Masia maybe?
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 12:35pm On Nov 12, 2012

Quit being bitter mate. Stats don't lie. BTW Pele did play in the Brazilian and USA Major league only right?
Yeah right. Admittedly, the Brazilian league was one of the best in the world then. Pele's Santos frequently got the better of European teams in both friendlies and inter-continental tourneys!
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 12:23pm On Nov 12, 2012
Whobedatte: So messi dives, U must be watching the back of T.V. Pele would not even score half of the goals he scored then now because of the 'Offside rule' imagine if there was no Offside messi wld score 300 goals in a season. Pele is an Overrated Old fool, FIFA puppet whose Obssession 4 messi would definitely send him to his early grave!!!
lol.... If being a 'puppet' would make me score 1281 career goals, win 3 World Cup Titles.... I wanna be a puppet. grin
Sports › Re: Lionel Messi Breaks Pele’s Goals Record by nitlad: 12:15pm On Nov 12, 2012
emmke: Remind me what record c ronaldo is chasing again? Oh yes; the 8th highest goal scorer in real madrid's history....
lol... But you have to factor in the fact that Madrid's is a more robust history.

Fruittyswaqboii: Shipped no be sold! could be shipped to their outlets. Get ur facts right papi. 1st to comment tho... iHope this makes the frontpage
I'm sure they factored in that before they explicitly stated that it outsold the iPhone! Other tech and news outlet are reporting same too! Can't all be getting their facts wrong, can they?
Phones › Samsung Galaxy S III Dethrones iPhone As World's Top Seller by nitlad(op):

For years tech pundits have been
searching for an "iPhone" killer -- a
mythical new device that would
dethrone Apple's mighty handset as
the most admired or popular
smartphone. It may be already here. For the first time, Samsung's Galaxy S
III overtook Apple's iPhone 4S to
become the world's best-selling
smartphone model for the third
quarter (July through September) of
2012, according to new research by Strategy Analytics. The Galaxy S III shipped 18 million
units worldwide, compared with 16.2
million for the iPhone 4S. That's 11% of
all smartphones shipped on the planet. Yes, this is the phone in those mocking
TV ads that show annoying fanboys
and fangirls in a thinly disguised Apple
store line, obsessing over their
impending purchase while a happy
Galaxy S III owner saves a place in line ... for his parents. Released in May, the Android-based
Galaxy S III boasts a bigger
touchscreen and longer battery life
than the iPhone 4S, along with more
megapixels in its camera and the
ability to run on 4G cellular networks. Some tech sites have rated it the best
smartphone on the market. But the Galaxy S III reign atop the
sales rankings will likely be short-lived.
As Strategy Analytics pointed out,
iPhone 4S sales waned in the third
quarter as consumers waited for the
iPhone 5, which went on sale September 21. Apple sold 5 million iPhone 5s that first
weekend and is expected to sell many
millions more during this holiday
shopping season.
