PoliticsRe: Igbo Must Be President In 2015 – Orji Uzor Kalu by nku5: 11:50am On Sep 21, 2012
Its easy to get things twisted. Igbos don't sell themselves out, its just that the igbo political class has been seized by whatt we call the omata class with people like the uba brothers and orji uzor in the forefront. Men like ekwueme can't play their game, match them naira for naira or thug for thug. Clear the omata class and you won't beliieve what you will see

acidtalk: Sure orji!!!
But that's only if the likes of YOU and your other kinsmen don't sell out your fellow Ibo brothers this time around.

Ibos main enemies are the fellow Ibo.
They so much hate seeing their brothers Progress.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Must Be President In 2015 – Orji Uzor Kalu by nku5: 11:45am On Sep 21, 2012
Bros don't be fooled by orji uzor kalu. In 2003 the man came out to make noise like he really gave a damn about igbo interestm at the end of the day he sold his followers to the cabal (he's their boy). Charity begins at home and at home orji uzor kalu is reviled and spat upon. Try and visit abia state and you will get a better picture

afam4eva: One thing i like about Orji Uzor Kalu is the he's one of the few Igbo leader left that won't compromise. That's not to say that he's totally clean.

Save yourself the epistle. Ekwueme was a gentleman cut from distinguished cloth rolling in the mud with a secret society of billionaire cutthroat ex-generals. He lost to their dirt and we know today who's the beast and who is the man

[
quote author=fagamite]

Dude, that election on the last day of the PDP primary? What was that?

Remember when Ekwueme was crying after the 2003 primaries, calling it a "charade?" That was the first time I heard the word charade? I didnt understand what he meant until I looked it up in the dictionary. Whats my point: OBJ beat Ekwueme fair and square. The way Ted Kennedy prevented Romney from becoming a career politician: That is exactly what OBJ did to Ekueme. OBJ retired Ekwueme from politics. OBJ did not just injure the snake ( Ekwueme), he KILLED it. Reminds me of Benjamin Adekunle; In the interests of maintaining a calm and dispassionate tone here, I wont go too deep into what Benjamin Adekunle did.[/quote]
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Field Presidential Candidate In 2015 -APGA National Chairman by nku5:
Chei this guy! Obj never defeated nothing his entire life. Rather the northern cabal/military defeated Ekwueme by spending billions to bribe their boy boy obasanjo to victory. We know say if northerners no hold yoruba man nyash, e no go fit go to toilet. After everything una go dey beat chest pass the real mafia.

You come add "election or no election" in other words you know there was no election but a heist that cemented the fate of this nightmare we call a democracy today.

dayokanu: Can you highlight what are the propagandist views? Was it that OBJ did not defeat Ekwueme at PDP convention or Falae did not defeat Onu?

Election or no election OBJ defeated Ekwueme twice not only in 1999 but also in 2003. Falae defeated Onu. Like always. In 2003 OBJ defeated Ojuku even in his fathers compound and everywhere else.

You think they don't know the truth. They're just looking to showboat to the gullible and less cerebrally endowed

Ninapha: @Fstranger & Dayokanu,
in response to ur 1999 politcal ignornace here is my sumation.
There was no election in 1999. There was only installation which was organised by the military conmen to pacify one of their own OBJ. Whatever u saw or heard about 1999 election was just a 'MELODRAMA'.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Field Presidential Candidate In 2015 -APGA National Chairman by nku5: 6:46am On Sep 18, 2012
100 percent akara and burukutu gist for the un-sophisticated to enjoy. Obj was a political nobody and then faithful boy boy to the north. He won because the military wanted him to win and keep nigeria where they wanted it. Now clap for yorubaaaaa!!! Una too mosh

dayokanu: Whether IBB sponsored him or not the fact was that OBJ flogged Ekwueme mercilessly at the PDP convention both in 1999 and in 2003.

Its a norm, Yorubas always flog Igbos everywhere
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Field Presidential Candidate In 2015 -APGA National Chairman by nku5: 9:15pm On Sep 17, 2012
Besides rochas I can't even imagine any of those ppl you mentioned, coming out as an igbo candidate

Ninapha: am cool with ur choices. What informed my own choice are 1. We need a man who can stand PDP, a man who hv not eaten sweet melon with PDP, a man who is as crafty as PDP, a man who understands d plight of ndi igbo. A man who does not talk in words but in action. We need a man who is loved, who can come to our level. A man who knows the dirt of PDP. I love Oby Ezekwesili, she motivates me with her mindedness. i love Soludo but i hv some reservations. He has Gud vision and he is vast. I love chime, he is young and enterprising, i love Ngozi, she is indomitable. Rochas is gud but not certified as tough-enough yet. He who must stand PDP must be as tough as PDP.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Field Presidential Candidate In 2015 -APGA National Chairman by nku5: 9:09pm On Sep 17, 2012
Shuo! Obasanjo in 1999 was millons of miles away from the impoverished ex-prisoner of 1998 that had 50k left in his account. When ibb (of all ppl) fed and sponsored him to introduce mega bucks politics into our fourth republic, buy over the pdp to win against men like ekwueme who was part of the G-25 that evolved into pdp. Created the monster we dey fight today and you dey feel like champ?

dayokanu: ^^ In case you are interested in some history lessons in 1999

Obasanjo defeated Alex Ekwueme in the PDP Primaries.

Olu Falae defeated Ogbonaya Onu in the AD/APP primaries

So nothing was handed over. We fought for it and defeated our opponents. We defeated Igbos like we have always done from the beginning of time
No one is going to hand over anything to you

Its like in 10yrs time the North telling Retardeen Jonathan they seded power to Ijaws.

That would be a lie cos Jonathan defeated Norther candidates in the primaries

Hope you were taking notes

Thank me later

PoliticsRe: Even If He Wanted To How Could Awolowo Have Seceded With The West In 1967 by nku5: 11:42am On Sep 15, 2012
Interesting question OP. A question over what his modus operandi was I believe was revealed in the famous statement that "if the east is allowed to secede, the west will also secede". If as you have asked he really did mean to secede, he must have planned for a scenario where once the east left the nation, the basis for a one nigeria on lugards terms would have no justification to continue. The issue of resistance from the north would have in such a scenario been settled or of little consequence. My two kobo

Odua soulja/negro ntns

Na wa for you o. The Igbos had enough sophistication to be a practicing, egalitarian democracy, when others where basking in primitivity, abandoning their destinies to feudal lords and kings. When ancient Greece slumbered in primitivity, Ndiigbo had a democracy that was local and functional. The discoveries of the archaeologist Thurstan Shaw in Igboukwu, which situated a high civilization in the Igbo area very much earlier than 450BC was a perfect proof of that. Elizabeth Isichei, Parrinder and the rest of other experts in this field have lent credence to this fact.sadly the average african's understanding of political sophistication is the kind where despots, perfidy and conquests are political instruments

Negro_Ntns: Igbo has failed through many attempts and verious means to draw international inquiry and interest into its past. Acholonu is continuing where Achebe failed.....raising controvertial and impractical theories just to stir up glances from academia and researchers who are nursing ambitions in a new field of work for money, fame and award. She might be lucky and get a bite, I mean......a glance!

Ibo has no world classic past to write about......you coexist with Ife, thanks to Lugard, but you belong in a sub-category far subpar to Imperial Ife.

Another thing he does that amuses me is when he ignores the facts in a person's arguments and gives a counter argument that, although unrelated, still undermines his opponent’s argument.

Bros! Regarding rule of law and the demolishing of the house, I get what you are saying but you see we don suffer for east for these kidnappers. The symbolism of the house being brought down to dust is very important. I recommmend that the ancestral homes of kidnappers caught should also be brought down. Violence is necessary, especially against dangerous men like these. Did you see the type of weapons these mofos had?

damola1: What crap.... and the land am sure is also haunted...and it'll be there forever.. no one will touch it....listen to yaself

Don't get it twisted!.. so yes, they shouldn't have wasted the resources..

On another note, is the rule of law really been followed.. I mean.. on what basis is a kidnapper identified... what if this is a personal vendetta by a police inspector against a personal friend or even by Obi himself... me thinks the due process is essential and needs to be followed, if anything should be done, it should be to improve the process of police arresting, court judging, and sentence served!.. not for the state to automatically become a police, lawyer, jury, judge...my 2kobo

Nobody is"insinuating" jack shyte! Spare me the bulldung. I don't understand the novel you just wrote. And WHERE in my post did I say ANYTHING about yorubas in this post. Did I say yorubas play the ethnic oga? I said ACN members like YOU play the ethnic card so I don't understand this gibberish, foaming at the mouth apology of a post you poured out with such disastrous eloquence. YOU are the quintessential hypocrite for yanking tribalism into an unrelated statement and wailing how others are bigots. Answer me NOW is ACN now YORUBA??

You have the gall to talk about paranoia and self deceit? Abi u just found another golden opportunity to squeeze some bigotry into the mix

Gbawe: Believe what you want. You are a damn hypocrite for insinuating Yorubas play the ethnic card but I am not surprised given the capacity of folks like you for paranoia and self-deciet.

While all Nigerians , including your folks, adjudge the Yorubas most accomodating and most religiosly tolerant, etc, etc, folks like you are here denying reality and deceitfully labelling them the "most tribalist", "most intolerant" etc.

You all should explain the "tribalism" that faciliate the much admired and liberal "live-and-let-live" attitude common throughout the SW that every Nigerian ethnic group is benefitting from. It is never nice to malign gracious and accomodating people , to the extent of peddling lies, simply because they are laid back and because you harbour a historical and vengeful grudge against them. That is what I see on this forum and that is what leads me to stand up and defend my people.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Lied About Obama’s Invitation To Democratic Party Convention Says DNC by nku5: 1:02pm On Sep 08, 2012
Honestly I don't give a toss about your party or any other . Why do you ACN people on this site (and I am starting to believe in real life) play the ethnic card at EVERY given opportunity. People like beaf used to say such things and I thought he was just trolling.

Gbawe: Establish the ethnic origin of those who are quickest to speak here most vehemently, in by far the largest number, and you have your answer regarding indoctrination that leads some to hate and comment blindly without engaging their brain.

PoliticsRe: Northern Leaders Tackle Yoruba Leaders On Autonomy by nku5: 3:28pm On Sep 05, 2012
I don't know why you people love to engage in merry go round talk. Biafran troops never marched on ore. Ore was and still is of no strategic value. They were marching through ore to lagos. The seat of nigerian authority, led by a northerner (at least as he wanted to be known as then) who was on "your land". I don't know which magician's hat you pulled the "biafran flag" story out from but let's assume it is true, what's in planting a flag to the unabused and non-bigoted mind when your boots are on the ground. Did they actually declare the places, biafran land. I leave the bigots to spin all they want.

The much hyped and overflogged old wives tale of biafran atrocities against minorities and bla bla makes me pity people who log on to the internet BEFORE they actually read credible books. I repeat THERE IS NO EVIDENCE of this.

As for the way people "view" igbos, I wouldn't like to dabble into the viewpoint other nigerian ethnic groups have of the yoruba people.

Dudu_Negro: To pazienza and his fellow yanmiris please address why biafra implanted its flags in River state and Midwest state and marched to Ore.......places where no single Ibo blood had been shed prior but ignored to march against the North, the primary slaughter ground where thousands of your sons and daughters were butchered for months leading in to your rebelion?

This is the reason your request to have UN declaration for genocide has repeatedly been declined. Your destruction was self inflicted......you are not a victim but a f...cking coward who directed opression on minorities instead of defending the dignity of your people and your land against Hausa/Fulani.

Yes, you are back in trade, you are making money.....but your land and your people are still without dignity and it is clearly reflected in the way every other Nigerian view you. Is money more important than the dognity of your land and your people? Everytime issues on social progress come into discussion you lead in with how much you are wealthy and making money.....you misinterprete money in bank for freedom of movement. If a war break out today you will be worse off than you were in the 60s because all that money tha you pride in is in other people land and you will be forced to negotiate your future on your opponents terms or risk forfeiting your investments. So how does your money aid your social progress and diginity?

Shame on ibo !

PoliticsRe: Northern Leaders Tackle Yoruba Leaders On Autonomy by nku5: 1:04pm On Sep 05, 2012
At least youhave agreed that the nigerian state had heavy support from the most powerful nations on earth. Nice one there. For your info rhodesia gave no aid whatsoever, french weapons trickled in and when it did it came clandestinely not officially in very small amounts. Israel gave no support of any material type (go and check), the likes of haiti were not better off than biafra. Once again don't bother thanking me for the history lesson.

omayyi :
you listed the Nigerian allies yet you conveniently forgot to mention that the Biafrans received all sorts of aids from countries like France, Israel, Rhodesia. Some of these countries actually supplied weapons to Biafra, albeit clandestinely.

If I want history lessons, I wouldn't demand it from igbos who are always in the habit distorting facts or leaving out portions that do not suit their propaganda.
