PoliticsSet Up Panel Of Enquiry On Emene Shooting - Osita Chidoka by nku5(op): 5:08am On Aug 29, 2020
This is from Osita Chidoka's Facebook page:

Set up a Commission of Inquiry on Emene shooting

Following media reports of the violent face-off between security agencies and members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leading to death of unarmed civilians and security agents, I contacted senior security officers and lawyers of IPOB.

In my interaction with the security agencies facts emerged that the State Department lost two officers and automatic rifles during the fracas while two members of IPOB were killed and about five injured. As at the time of our conversation 5 members of IPOB were in Police custody. I requested the Police to grant them bail or charge them to court.

In my discussion with IPOB lawyers it emerged that the members were meeting peacefully and did not constitute any threat to public peace when some security agents infiltrated their meeting leading to the fracas. I condole with all those who lost their lives and ask the government of Enugu state to institute a commission of Inquiry to ascertain the truth around the incident that led to the death of unarmed civilians and security agents.
Security agencies must continue to respect fundamental right of peaceful assembly in a democracy and be guided by rules of engagement in dealing with unarmed civilians. Use of force in delicate situations is a by product of the militarization of our society and must be avoided.

It is also important that the identity of those who killed the security agents and took their guns are ascertained to be sure that criminal elements did not cash in on the mayhem. I condemn the use of violence by any group whether security agents or private groups. I will continue to engage with all sides for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. I commend current efforts to de-escalate the tension. IPOB representatives assure me that they remain a non violent organization.

I wont be surprised if its true. From the feelers I'm getting, this kiling was the last straw and Igbo elite are quietly pressing for somebody to be held accountable for the massacre to prevent IPOB from becoming a violent group.

OK2NVME:
Gilbert Chagoury a Lebanese business man who acted as both Abacha's money launderer and international fixer.

Gilbert Chagoury is a major campaign donor to the DNC and Clinton presidential bids. He is also a major contributor to the Clinton foundation.

It was his timely generous donation on behalf of Abacha that saw to Bill Clinton dropping sanctions on the Abacha govt over the execution of Ken Saro-Wiwa.

Same Chagoury convinced Abacha to announce Tinubu as his VP during his failed transition to civilian rule.

Chagoury convinced Abacha that by nominating a Yoruba person who also was prominent in NADECO the whole June 12 clamour will fade away.

This is confirmed by Abiola's own son who stated correctly that Yoruba politicians, Obas and those in NADECO bettayed his father.

When Abacha died, Clinton sent his envoy to poison Abiola so that Abiola will not expose the betrayal and corruption by both his own people and the Clinton WH.

So it came as no surprise that Gilbert Chagoury will then groom Tinubu into the international criminal syndicate of the Clinton Foundation.

Tinubu has been paying and still continues to pay into the Clinton purse and also fund the demonic Democratic Party.

Fun fact: The Chicago law firm that represented Tinubu during his drug case in the US had at that time a young inexperienced Havard law graduate who worked as a legal resercher before venturing off into Politics - Obama.

Tinubu is part of the global criminal Clinton crime syndicate and that is why Obasanjo could not get to remove or prosecute him.

Tinubu is only relevant in Nigerian politics as long as he continues paying into the Clinton purse and so his desperation to control Lagos by all means.

Hilary's loss really dealt a blow to Tinubu and Buhari knew this and that's why they sidelined him. If Hilary had won, Buhari would have not teated Tinubu the way he did.

But as 2020 US election cones closer, drawing a Trump re-election imninent and the entire collapse of the DNC and Clinton criminal syndicate in the US, Tinubu is really scared shitless and that is why he is desperate to become President towards giving himself immunity from all the big toes he has stepped on since 1999.

You can now see why your average Yoruba APC zombie hates Trump

God no go gree that one OP.

South East was rated by UN as safest place to live in Nigeria just three decades after a civil war destroyed it. Meanwhile the North-West, North-East, North Central and South West that have serious security problems of kidnapping, terrorism, cultism, banditry and thuggery.

Why would we want to spoil our own party by starting an insurgency and destabilising the place.

You have all this, so why not simply redraw your Biafra map to include JUST the SE? Then bring your secessionist proposal forward? You claim to be so powerful and independent, yet seem unable to tie your shoe laces without including the Niger Delta.
Did God create anything like SE? Another example of building faulty opinion upon faulty facts. So the Igbos outside the so called SE geo-political zone dont have the right to choose?

Folks keep asking why the army and police are more brutal with IPOB than perpetrators of violence further up north, such as in southern Kaduna, and among Fulani herdsmen. I think the reason is simple. And it goes beyond ethnic favouritism.

IPOB are essentially fighting to DESTROY Nigeria. They are seeking to seize Nigeria's oil and gas resources which provide 90% of the FG's revenue.
This is such a lazy, pedestrian take. Flawed precepts built upon flawed precepts.

IPOB are interested in self determination through peaceful means (referendum) so how exactly are they supposed to be seeking "to seize Nigeria's oil and gas resources? The simple reason why the FG is being brutal with them is because they are peaceful.

Based on your logic these guys in white that slit the throats of hundreds of school boys in their dormitories, kidnapped Chibok girls, destroyed the North East, declared caliphates inside Nigeria and killed tens of thousands of people for ten years are less "dangerous" than IPOB that have never killed a soul. Just because of oil and gas? grin These Boko Haram killers will be paid allowances from the same oil and gas money for years to come. Nigeria is a real shithole walahi talahi. A real disgrace and a failed state

I understand that you are confused. So let me help you out.

I challenged you to debunk the OP's claim.

My post you quoted is based on the pictures posted by the op which shows wooden guns.

I've been made aware of a video recorded by Philip Emegwali an Igbo man who claimed that he was conscripted at the age of 14 or thereabouts.

So, the possibility that there was children conscription to fight a senseless war is very high and that's why I asked you to defend your position with facts.

Obviously you can't, otherwise you would have.

Racism and hatred of Igbo?

You must be talking about someone else.

If I hated Igbos, I won't write the first post which you so gleefully pulled out which seemed to support you guys.

I am a servant of Truth and I speak it no matter whose ox is gored.

But truth to you guys sounds like hatred.
You are confused walahi talahi grin grin grin grin

See your initial post to OP

FrLukas:
I don't think this is true though.

I think this was meant as a sensitization program.

As you can see, those kids were given wooden guns and not real guns.

Let's be factual and stop the lies.
After exposing the OP's folly you reply me saying "THIS is a sample of the war crimes"

FrLukas:
Why don't you go ahead and debunk it.

This is just a tiny sample of the war crimes committed by Ojukwu and his men during the war.
So which one. Do you believe that these kids looking like 5 year olds with sticks were sent to the warfront?

I can tell you for free that there were no child combatants in Biafra. I dont need to watch any videos. I've read enough literature to know this. The teenagers who served the army were errand boys, cleaners or cooks.
