They should either go to court or leave that place. Make everybody rest. That area is supposed to be residential but the property owners couldnt resist the good money the business people were offering for rent compared to residential tenants. I liked that neighborhood before but mehn its too rowdy abeg

Back to the topic,Not all Yorubas too voted for Abiola

For your info, Not all Igbo voted against Buhari!

So not all nairaland has a defective reasoning like IPOBs MISCREANTs grin
Those are not Tinubu touts they are Tinubu boys and even they cannot repeat that nonsense talk in public. The Tinubu touts are the ones on social media and nairaland lying upandan like because they believe distorting history because they want to set a false narrative for Tinubu 2023 that fulani will not even allow him to smell

Abimbola Davies' injunction was inconsequential. IBB was under intense pressure from forces more powerful than him, so he was going to annul the election anyway. And just so you know, Davies eventually backtracked & confessed to Abiola before going into exile. Peace !
So you know Abimbola Davies worked against MKO Abiola and you called Nzeribe grin He never backtracked oga dont lie. They never even met until MKO died

Rotentik19:
So there were no Yorubas who stood by Abiola ? The same Igbo that never supported him were the one running around to save after the annulment ? I guess Arthur Nzeribe & ABN gave him maximum support too abi ? When certain lies have been peddled for too long, they begin to sound like the truth. Bros, no matter what your argument is, it is on record that Igbos never supported Abiola. Not necessarily because the other candidate was better, but just because he was Yoruba.
You were beginning to get the point by stating that some yorubas stood by him while some betrayed him but you fell victim to your prejudices along the way.

You mentioned ABN and Nzeribe but omitted the other ABN chieftain named Abimbola Davies who was the one who actually filed an injunction in court to annul the election of his own kinsman. It is the case that Abimbola Davies filed that IBB used as reason to annul it.

Cos we know the truth.
shocked shocked shocked So while Chidoka was supporting Abiola some yoruba elders were lining their pockets, recording NADECO meetings and sending to Aso Rock.

The former secretary of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) Ayo Opadokun has said that late M.KO Abiola was betrayed by some Yoruba elders. He said these elder tapped proceeding of meeting and sent to the Presidential Villa

Opadokun said some of these people have also died The former secretary of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) Ayo Opadokun accused some Yoruba elders of betraying the winner of the 1993 presidential election Moshood Abiola. Opadokun in a interview with Vanguard said a few Yoruba elders played leading role in the betrayal of Abiola. Although he did not mention names, Opadokun said, some of these were trusted by the NADECO members

Lols.
It seems, I'll go with your definition.
That means, every states supportted Buhari.
Don't blame Yorubas alone.

Everyone supported atiku, don't take the glory to yourself alone

Everyone supported Jonathan, don't take the glory.

Everyone removed Jonathan from office, don't blame the Yorubas and North.

Okay?
I have no idea what all this gibberish about Atiku and Jonathan has to do with the fact that an Igbo boy supported MKO in 1993 and that Igbos showed support for MKO Abiola with their blood and their votes. Make Tinubu 2023 pipe-dream ambition no make una craze o grin grin grin grin grin

There is another thread right now in the politics section where they call igbos fools for voting obasanjo ahead of ojukwu.

Lol, so Yorubas weren't gotten locked up and tortured?

So Yorubas weren't part of the NADECO

So out of over 30millions of Igbos, you mention less than 6 or 7 that supported him cheesy
Funny, is that what you called support?

Can you prove your claim that Yoruba elders were sneaking into aso rock to collect bribes?

Yes, they gave him a safe place cos there was unrest in the west.
I say use your brain shocked You uploading irrelevant election figures kindly tell us if its 6 or 7 Igbos that voted for MKO Abiola in the East? Lets not even mention the igbos in Lagos who voted for him. Do you know that while Olu Onagoruwa and Lateef Jakande were serving in Abacha's cabinet Chief Bobo Nwosisi's banking licence was revoked for supporting Abiola?

So you want to conveniently act ignorant of all the NADECO yoruba elders betrayal of MKO Abiola that even primary school kids can google? NADECO became so compromised that Chief Alex Ekwueme had to form the G17 to challenge Abacha? There is no shame in being ignorant just do some research and contribute when you are more informed wink

Then, why do you say you support the west?
I've you ever supported the west in anythinghuh

If you want to know the meaning of support (in election terms), check the results of 1993 & 1999 and of Awolowo.
See the margin between the two parties in the west.

Even the Fulanis that killed you guys, you keep supporting them.
Yet, we are your problem cheesy
Use your brain. Did Igbos support MKO Abiola or not? Did Osita Chidoka as a student put an advert in a national daily or not? Even after the annulment of the election by IBB were yoruba elders not sneaking into Aso Rock to collect money in the middle of the night? Were Igbos like Olisa Agbakoba, Chris Anyanwu and Comrade Chima Ubani not getting locked up and tortured by the military. When NADECO people were hiding and couldnt organise was it Not Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu that gave them a safe meeting place in his home?

When MKO came back from exile and declared himself president at Epetedo where were the yoruba elders? Was it not Chief Bobo Nwosisi and Ralph Obioha standing with him when the going got tough?

You are asking when at the top of the thread is a picture of a campaign advertorial in a national newspaper by an igbo student in 1993. you must be really desperate grin grin grin

MKO Abiola/Babagana Kingibe vs Bashir Tofa/Sylvester Ugoh shocked of course you know who would get more votes in the east at the end of the day.

Its too late. We dont want any Igbo presidency. Those who have had presidency their regions are overrun with terrorists, thugs and poverty. First restructuring along regional lines, Build Railways and Roads in the South East, dredge and upgrade Port Harcourt Port then we can talk.

PoliticsRe: Aguiyi Ironsi Unifies All The Regions To One Entity Not The British by nku5: 4:09pm On Jun 07, 2020
Do small research that primary school pupils can easily handle but you no gree. You want to blame Ironsi for your woes when it was Gowon that created states and dissolved the regions.

Instead of you to blame that brown toothed, stinking criminal Tinubu for refusing to participate in Goodluck Jonathan's Confab and work for re-establishing the regions you are here chasing shadows of dead men. Tinubu has enslaved his people for the next 100 years at least because he thinks fulani will give him presidency. The narcotics never clear from him eye but it will still clear

Face Tinubu the career criminal that is a trillionaire with no visible source of livelihood except being governor 14 years ago but can call in billions of naira in bullion vans

Diezani has been a director in Shell and minister of Petroleum and is more than qualified for this appointment. She asked to be joined in a case where her name was mentioned but FG/EFCC knowing they have no case shied away from it. Everybody who served under GEJ is getting global recognition but Tinubu is busy mentoring thugs and NURTW agberos like a local champ in Lagos and dreaming that Fulanis will give him power in 2023. Bloody clown tongue
