joeyfire: No mind that guy, he's not been able to prove anything he's posting upandan. He started with the dodgy article and that was smashed. His last hope was the bible he says was written before the war. He was so eager to score a point that he didn't check the date ![]() |
omonnakoda:Before which war? This thing you are spamming this thread with was written in 2010. What type of obsessive compulsive lying is this? |
OP- very simple answer. 1. Azikiwe and Awolowo were very flawed men. 2. The British instigated Awolowo to use tribalism to checkmate Zik's influence in the western region. Zik's pan African wahala and fight for independence really worried them. So while Awo was studying law in the UK they encouraged him to form egbe omo oduduwa |
KingJa:For June 12: 1. Olisa Agbakoba - CLO activist locked up uncountable times 2. Comrade Chima Ubani - CLO activist locked up uncountable times 3. Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu - NADECO chieftain who very bravely hosted resistance meetings at his residence 4. Chief Bobo Nwosisi - Stood with MKO and Abacha revoked his banking licence 5. Chief Ralph Obioha - Like Nwosisi was loyal to MKO until the end even when prominent Yorubas had collected money from Abacha 6. Senator Chris Anyanwu - Female Journalist/Publisher almost blinded in detention for being pro-MKO 7. Udenta Udenta - Activist 8. Chief Alex Ekwueme - Led the G17 opposed to Abacha You still need more? |
Topsic70:Morufu...so your long term goal is to be abusing girls on the internet ![]() |
Topsic70:Park well Morufu. You want her to apologise for having more sense than you ![]() |
jacksonkennedy:Your head correct |
Biafrannuke:Simple and short. There is no use discussing with anybody whose brain cannot decode this |
Sammy07:There is nothing to accept because he has said nothing. After ten years of noise wetin dey ground? Just noise Done with who? Nigga pls grow up I even need the paper DAWN to come to life. It will help my ministry sef ![]() |
MetaPhysical:DAWN ni EVENING ko all na political wash for gullible average plebs to use and brag about. It was just a gimmick to intimidate GEJ. Ten years after all the noise how far?Lagos was a cool cosmopolitan city with the aworis, egbas, ijebus, ijaws, Igbos, northerners, Syrians, Lebanese etc The problem is when you guys from the hinterland of neighbouring Yoruba states started flooding the place, creating slums and multiplying like spores in the 1970s during the oil boom |
Cosbyrich:I have a higher stake in Lagos than you can ever have. I must be on top of the game and informed at all times ![]() |
rdokoye:Nothing? So if Nigeria breaks today some parts, the north can tell China that all the money they invested in building the Kaduna-Abuja railway is gone because it's a new country? It doesn't work that way at all. Especially in the globalised world of today. You will be dragged to international courts in the very least and made to pay the investor back his investment, plus profit and damages in billions of dollars |
rdokoye:Nationalizing like in the 1970s? Are you kidding |
Opexzy:Indomie generation no go kill person with laugh. Zimbabwe is what you are aspiring to be? Mugabe tried it almost twenty years after independence and the economy was wrecked to the point that to buy a loaf of bread you have to carry a wheelbarrow full of cash. Thats what you want to compare to legally binding agreements on Ports and roads. So Dangote will spend many billions to reconstruct the Apapa-Oshodi road and then you wake up and tell him "sorry we have seceded sir". You are definitely a kid |

It might not even need much dredging o |

BeautifulMind2:You have blown my mind with this |
Iceberg3:Most of them just parrot what they have been fed. They outsource their thinking. Even if we don't want to count our sea access, the East is the easiest West African gateway to Central and East Africa by land. Those are the regions in Africa that the world is focussing on now |
imhotep:That's why north does not want to go. Oil money is not even what they are desperate about. |
BeautifulMind2:Based on the map that Murtala, Babangida and co drew, the so called South East has no direct access to the sea. But the truth is that Igbos in the so called South South have access to the sea. Even if they choose to be in the Niger Delta republic , we will still collabo beautifully and move our goods through their ports which are still two hours drive from the SE and they will get paid wella. |
Cosbyrich:Lagos has been encumbered by the north for at least another 20 years |
Opexzy:Read about Awo's deal here http://saharareporters.com/2012/08/13/northern-muslim-elders-reply-asari-dokubo-go-and-read-your-history Nope legal agreements cannot be tossed aside just because you secede. When it is now between two countries in the international arena it can't be solely on your terms unless you are as powerful as USA or you pay them in hundreds of billions of dollars as compensation The SW threw away an opportunity when Jonathan was president... |
7lives:1. Look at the screenshot about the agreement between Awo and the North before the civil war. http://saharareporters.com/2012/08/13/northern-muslim-elders-reply-asari-dokubo-go-and-read-your-history 2. In the mid 1990s when Yorubas were talking about secession during the MKO Abiola/June 12 wahala, their big men were saying that after all the FG as well as private investments made in Lagos (especially Apapa) that Yorubas think they can secede ![]() 3. Over the years northerners have headed Nigerian customs for as long as i can remember, the Buhari administration is not playing around either as they even want the FG to control the inland waterways. We saw how Amaechi was running his nonsense mouth about why Lagos state has no authority over its own inland waterways
|
Opexzy:1. I welcome debates but I don't entertain childish tantrums 2. The Lagos Port is owned by the Federal Government and Dangote's concession of the ports cannot just be cancelled over the dismemberment of Nigeria unless you dont want peace in your new oduduwa republic. Same way a non Yoruba person that owns a house in Lagos can't lose the property if Nigeria is divided. That's international law. Go and read up. 3. Many landlocked countries are the most prosperous in the world. Even many landlocked nations in Africa are 10 times better than Nigeria or Somalia can ever be ![]() |
joeyfire:A rift between Yorubas and other southern tribes was what his political career needed and he gained from it. If any one man ended southern unity it is Tinubu |
haywire07:I can debate with you and bury you with facts all day if you want to discuss like a man but I don't trade insults like motor park touts do ![]() |
